Service only. We were traveling from Chicago to Florida with stopover in Valdosta. We need oil change, called dealer and they said 60-90 minutes . I was in and out on time , they even rotated tires and washed car. Even better there was No Charge since first service covered by Honda . I assumed you had to go back to original dealer, you do not . Took my Dodge truck in for an engine light coming on, I was told it was a Evap. Sensor. They replaced it, within two days the gas cap light came on. I took it back and the put an OEM gas cap on it, two days later the engine light and gas cap light came on. I was told when I left the dealership that if the light came back on to take it to the Dodge Dealership. I paid over Five Hundred Dollars for this service, and I still have the same problem. If you cannot Fix/Work on other Models, you should not try. I hope the Service Manager or the Owner of the Honda Dealership sees this review. I called spoke with Reggie via phone, told him the vehicle I was interested in, the price etc and HE MADE IT HAPPEN!!! i mean VERY quickly. He educated me on my options and put things into motion. I was looking at a used car, and the salesperson (a young African American lady) was great. Professional, courteous, caring. When she went to her manager to check out my credit rating--which wasn't great at the time--she came back and pretty much said there's nothing they can do. I felt like a persona non grata and was pretty much told to leave. This is the rudest I've ever been treated at a dealership. Recently was searching for a new civic and the first dealership I went to was Langdale Honda of Valdosta. I was greeted by B.J. who seemed friendly at first. However, I was a little put off by his flirtatious behavior. I was discussing credit history and my concern about having a large down payment and without hesitation, B.J. said "there are alternative ways to work out a down payment" while he winked at me. I was so disappointed with my first service at Langdale in Valdosta. You are supposed to get a free oil change with a newly purchased car, I have a 2025 Honda Accord. All seemed ok for this service, but when I drove off the tire sensor light came on immediately- not that big of a deal, but, needed to come back in, they had to retest & reset... a couple days later found my cap to valve stem missing - same tire. Called and was told I could get a replacement - drove the 30 miles to get it... then, was told they can only replace with cheaper ones. They cannot order the original one my car came with. Not good customer service. Worked with Michael in customer service and is backed up by Chuck Higgins the Parts and Service Director. As a first-time buyer from a family who has purchased over 8 cars from the Valdosta's Honda location over the past two decades, I thought I could put my trust and faith into this dealership, but unfortunately have been proven wrong. In August 2023, I bought a new Honda Civic EX. My reasoning for upgrading to a new model was based on me relocating four hours away in October 2023. I knew that I would acquire many miles from traveling back and forth to visit home. Approximately 5 months after I purchased this vehicle, I began to notice my car's steering progressively becoming hard to manage. It took a good amount of force and handling for me to make even the slightest turn. I made an appointment and took my car in March 2024. My service advisor was Scott Barlow, whom I explained my car's steering issue to the best of my ability. Turns out I had a faulty rack n pinion and a new one was special ordered. I was told that I would receive a call when the part came in, because they have been on back order for months, also mentioning that a previous customer had been waiting since November 2023. I expressed my concern of my safety to continue driving the vehicle, and I was assured it would be fine. Months went by and I never heard anything from the dealership. My concerned father called for an update in July 2024, and he was told that the part was ready, and I could come in to get my car fixed. My service team failed to call and inform me that my "specially ordered" part was ready. On 8/16/24, I dropped my car off to get my maintenance and steering issue fixed. I received a call from Scott stating that the service team rotated my tires and performed an oil and filter change, however they were unable to fix my steering issue due to the fact that they now have a "service kit" that allegedly "should fix the issue", instead of replacing the whole rack and pinion, as of a few weeks ago. Scott stated the kit "would be ordered" and available around a week from that date. I explained to Scott that I have been told that this issue would be fixed on this date, and I do not live in Valdosta and could not be back in that timeframe, as I had already made a pointless trip for this service. I explained again my concern and fear for my safety and requested a rental or loaner vehicle until my vehicle was fixed. I was told that they did not have any loaner vehicles available. I was at loss for words and completely let down about the situation. Extremely poor communication on the dealership, as I should have been told this information before scheduling an appointment, let alone dropping my car off for the promised service. Not only was I lied to, but I felt belittled voicing my concern over my safety as it was well over five months since we initiated a plan to resolve the steering issue which progressively got worse, causing me to reduce the frequency of driving. My fiancé overheard my phone conversation and decided to call Scott back to discuss what could be done, considering I was uncomfortable taking my car back. No luck. My fiancé asked to speak with Scott's manager, Chuck Higgins, explaining my circumstances. Chuck told my fiancé that he would look into it and give him a call back shortly. Sure enough, Chuck called him back stating that he could indeed get the kit sent out overnight and my car would be fixed the next day by noon! Chuck also issued us a loaner vehicle that I picked up shortly after getting off the phone with him that day to drive until my car would be fixed on 8/17/24. Turns out Scott lied to me about his inability of getting this kit special ordered; I was also misinformed that a loaner vehicle was indeed available. On 8/17/24, I was contacted by Scott and informed that my car was fixed and ready to be picked up. I asked Scott if this kit was utilized in fixing my steering issue, and he assured me that "it was fixed, and my car was ready to go". I am hoping that I will not have to deal with any more steering trouble. Specifically, I hope to NEVER deal with Scott or Langdale Honda again, let alone Honda as a company read more

Communication is a large problem with this company. I purchased a vehicle several months ago, no one bothered to go over any of the accessories or how anything worked on the vehicle. Basically had to READ the book. That was not my last experience at another dealer 5 years ago. It's been about 9 mo , called for an oil change . Suppose to be free , the indicator had to be at 15% or I have to pay for it. No one told us that at the time of purchase. We are traveling for the next 2 months . It's at 30%. I am livid ! I recently bought a used car here from Reggie who is a great salesman and got me the car. I was in town visiting my kids so I went over and they had the car I liked and we work out a deal. I was waiting for my commission check, so I went ahead and got a loan and I was basically gonna float it a couple of months until I got my bonus check and then pay it off. When I got the paperwork, Honda uses or used on me a high risk credit company for people with bad credit for which I have an 800 score and no dead and gave me a 9% loan for 66 months at $365 which is about $9000 in interest if I were to pay it off. I have excellent credit I always have. I had another company they submitted to also a high credit risk, so I am quite disappointed with the finance department and myself are missing this. I've now had to receive payment coupon, books letters. I've already made my January payment and I just got a letter saying they will send me a letter to make sure I pay my payment on time which is really disappointing to me when I literally just could've walked in with my credit card that I have a $30,000 credit limit on and used it and paid it off in 30 days which I should've done. I'm giving the stars for Reggie but for Finance I'll just say I'm disappointed especially when it's posted on the loan a credit score of 798 and I get a 9% loan with add-on fees so I had to get a cashiers check and overnighted to this company called credit acceptance which I highly do not recommend to pay this off as it is a ridiculous company to deal with, and I'm very disappointed in Honda for treating me as if I had a 500 credit score. It's currently sitting at 805 so I'm not sure where the high risk is. Other than that the dealership was fine, the car was not deep cleaned. It was surface cleaned, but that's OK. I don't mind detailing the car but inside the gas cap the sunroof under the seats was all filthy, dirty greasy took me a little elbow grease but I'm happy with the car providing the brakes or not and need a replacement and the car is now in the shop. I had understood it was going to be fully detailed new brakes, ready to go, but be sure to do your due diligence that I evidently didn't do. I can only blame me for that and I should've walked away from signing the contract now that I look closer at it. Disappointed, but it is a good dealership. read more

Reggie Garland is the salesman we worked with and highly recommend too. Not only they sold us a wonderful vehicle, they were easy to work with and are very honest. After selling us the car, Reggie went out of his way to explain to us the different functions in the vehicle. Upgrading from a 2003 to 2019 was a big shock to our system, and he anticipated it by making sure we knew how to use our vehicle properly. When we had concerns about the car after we bought it, they immediately asked us to bring it in, took 1.5 hours to check it all over, discovered that the adaptive transmission needed to be reset and learn my driving style, they reset it so the process would be smoother for me and the issues we were worried about disappeared. The whole time they didn't make me feel inadequate, were very understanding, kind and took the time to explain to me how the new technology works. Brought my Honda pilot in for an A1 oil change and tire rotation. Walked over to SAMS club to kill some time and when I came back, the car was on the ready line and was still wet from the car wash. I paid for it, got the keys and was about to drive off, I noticed that the maintenance light was still on indicating A1. When I went back in to the advisor and asked point blank if they even did any work, he said the tech didn't do the normal procedure since he didn't have the standard work order because my name wasn't in the system (we are visiting from out of town). First the advisor told me the only thing they didn't do was the 30-point inspection. Then, when he saw me walk around to the maintenance bay, he came back out and admitted they had done nothing. The weird part was that I had already paid and he said he discounted it. I'm very distrustful of this dealership. First the good. My salesperson was wonderful and answered every question. She was A+. The manager was likewise accommodating. They found the car I wanted and had it ready when promised. Now the bad. When I was signing the Honda financing agreement (2.9%), amid all the forms to sign and initial, I was presented with a "Mandatory Arbitration Agreement." This means if the dealership does anything wrong, unethical, or otherwise illegal with regards to the purchase and/or maintenance of your car, the buyer cannot take them to court and MUST go through arbitration in which the dealer chooses the arbiter (i.e., chooses their own judge). As a rule, arbitration is much more expensive than going to court. Whether or not this will be necessary is not the point--it's the principle of the matter. If I had been told about this agreement beforehand, I would not have purchased from Langdale. To spring this "small matter" upon a customer just as the purchase is concluding is frankly unethical and a horrible business practice. It should be disclosed before a deposit is made or any paperwork begins. I was told by the finance person that refusal to sign was not an option if I wanted to buy the car--a car for which I had already given a down payment and had invested many hours to purchase. Not willing to lose my money and time, I am stuck with Langdale for this car. I have purchased a half dozen cars in five different states over the years and never before has this happened. However, I need to replace one of my family's other cars in the next year or two, I will NOT be returning to Langdale Honda (I'm not sure if the other Langdale dealerships require this agreement, but I suspect they do). I frankly found the same vehicle for essentially the same price elsewhere in southern Georgia and northern Florida. While it was convenient to purchase locally I now know the price of that convenience. Caveat emptor. read more

Terrible out of state buying experience from this Dealership . I first reached out regarding a 2017 GMC sierra 1500 Denali on 2/8/23 to a salesman by the name of Donnie. I was ready to pickup and pay for the truck by 2/10/23 and that was the plan, I placed a deposit of $200 because I was asked to, wanted this truck, and this truck fit my needs. Here's the good part. My credit union was needing a copy of the title, bill of sale, and a dealership guarantee agreement which they could not provide because they did not have the title in hand. Which is ridiculous to me that I wasn't made aware that they weren't in possession of the title even after I had told them how I would be paying for the vehicle. I was VERY patient with this dealership for over a MONTH ! They wouldn't even bother to update me on what the status was on receiving the title, I would have to call and ask what was going on. Around 2/18/23 I called and was extremely frustrated and at that point I just wanted my deposit back, I spoke to Donnie and he was not helpful at all he said he couldn't help me and he didn't deal with the refunds, I asked for the number of who did, eventually got it and of course nobody answered.. I finally received a call and was told on 2/24/23 that they had finally received the title. To my surprise the title showed a lien on it and it was not ready to be sold because of that reason, meaning I would have to wait EVEN LONGER FOR THEM TO GET THAT SORTED OUT. I am still extremely upset that I wasted my time and money with this dealership for over a month. After I was told I would have to wait longer, I spoke to Donnie and just wanted my deposit back. All of a sudden he said it wasn't a problem and he personally could refund me the money back. Which was a surprise to me because when I initially had call on 2/18/23 he said he didn't deal with refunds. Super unprofessional and ridiculous buying experience from a "professional established dealership." What baffles me is they tried to sell me a truck knowing I was paying the full amount with a certified check. Obviously whoever was funding that check was going to need that title sent to them. I didn't buy my 2019 Passport at Langdale Honda but I did get my extended warranty here because I live in Valdosta. All my reviews are from the service department. They've met my expectations every time I went there. Immediate greetings, problem solving, and service satisfaction. The waiting section provides free drinks and is clean, but it could be improved though. The competition with the main floor music can drown out the customer TV viewing. Elevator music should be played so the selection would be less obtrusive to others. read more

My favorite radio station 95.7 was there advertising. I pulled in there was a group of sales people inside the glass that acknowledged me with a nod. Not a bad experience but did not earn our business. The positives would be its a new dealership, clean lot ,big inventory, they demo new vehicles and features well, and friendly staff. The reasons we didn't close a deal after 3 visits were we never saw the inside of the building as we were never invited inside. Maybe just lack of experience of sales team but never tried to sell me a vehicle. The worst was there was NO room for customers to park which made us feel we were in the way of others also trying to determine where the customer parking area was supposed to be. Worst service department I have ever been to. Made an appointment to have my 2017 Ridgeline serviced. The vehicle maintenance minder displayed codes A 1 3 which is replace oil, rotate tires, and replace transmission fluid and transfer fluid. They replaced the rear differential fluid instead of the transfer fluid. When I informed them of the error they tried to convince me they were the same thing. After I showed them maintenance minder codes in the owners manual they still insisted it was the same thing until I showed them where two different fluids were called for in the manual. Finally agreed I was correct. They offered no corrective action to correct the problem. They also used Versatrans ATF fluid for the transmission fluid change instead of the honda recommend ATF DW-1. So much for your local dealer using genuine honda products. If you intend to keep your Honda for many trouble free miles do not use this dealer for your service. read more

Bad experience some employees need to learn customer service, even though they may not be waiting on me a smile and greeting goes a long way. The problem I had was I saw a vehicle I wanted to test drive but there was no gas in it so it would not start. The sales person had to go to the gas station in another vehicle to get gas to fill up the tank so I could drive it. The SUV (used) sound like it never was looked at by the mechanic, it kept skipping while I was driving it. I recently visited Langdale Honda and they came HIGHLY recommended might I add. Well the car I originally set up an appointment for was a used vehicle. I arrived on time for my appointment and I waited for them to get the key so I could test drive the vehicle. They walked pass me for 15 minutes only for them to tell me that they lost the keys to the vehicle and someone was coming to cut a new key. So they put me in another used vehicle of the same brand but it was not in my price range. We got back to the dealership after driving and I watched the technician come and open the car for me to drive. Well he couldn't have a copy of the key until 2 days later. The salesman told me that he would drive the vehicle to me an hour and 12 minutes away so I could test drive this vehicle, well I didn't agree right off and so he went and got his manager. Well the sales manager Enrico Young immediately started snapping at me(chopping up his words with some type of arrogance)saying ad I quote"ATLEAST WE PUT YOU IN A VEHICLE, IS THAT NOT WHAT YOU CAME 1 HOUR AND 12 MINUTES FOR RIGHT?" I explained to Mr. Young that wasn't the point the point was the vehicle I came 1 hour and 12 minutes for was unavailable and because it's a used vehicle I need to see if the car at least cranks! Now while I was driving the other used vehicle 3 minutes into the drive the "Tire Pressure" light came. I explained to Mr. Young that how do I know that this vehicle won't stop on the salesman on his way to bring it to me, or the tire pressure light won't come on like it did in the other vehicle. He then says, "ITS HOT IN GEORGIA AND THATS WHAT ALL THE CARS DO WHEN ITS HOT!!" I laughed and said well mine isn't on, and I left. I visited other dealers in Valdosta, but they didn't have what I wanted. I tried test driving other vehicles but I had my mind set on a Honda Civic. About 2 hours after I left the Langdale, Sammy the lady who made my appointment informed me that the vehicle I came to test drive was sold!!!! I was pissed!! Because they keys were "LOST"! Teach your sales manager how to speak with customers, it may be best if he gets back on the floor to sale cars so all of those customer service skills can be a refresher. Because Enrico Young does not have it. He even kept the same attitude towards me after I left and him selling the vehicle I originally drove an hour and 12 minutes for. Then on top of that in front of the General manager, he still was talking to me like he didn't have any sense. The General Manager Mr. Kelly seems to be a nice guy, he tried his best to make my experience good. Hopefully the dealership will have that $8,000.00 key box really soon so the keys won't get "lost". Langdale has a really large and good selection of cars but Mr. Young really made me feel as if my money was not good enough. He may have been having a bad day, but when in customer service everyday should be a good day because it's the customers who make your job(I work in customer service and I even have good reviews). I end up going with Langdale because Mr. Kelly and Bryan Korec put me in a 2019 Honda Civic for the trouble and hassle that at a price that I couldn't turn down. No it's not financed with them. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Langdale Honda simply because I didn't feel valued as a customer in the beginning especially coming highly recommended! read more
