George and Dex diagnosed and solved the problem and got us back on the road in a fraction of the time I expected and at a fraction of the cost I was fearing. Earl and his mechanics are very competent, professional and kind. What could have been a bad experience turned out to be a pleasant one that I will not soon forget. There were also times when I needed services they didn't offer, and instead of trying to upsell or take on work outside their scope, they were upfront and referred me elsewhere. I appreciated that honesty. In addition to this, there was a time a brought a foreign vehicle I was considering purchasing for my daughter to Pete's Auto for an inspection. They performed a thorough evaluation and were honest about the condition of the car, ultimately saving me from purchasing a vehicle that would have required nearly $5,000 in repairs that the local dealer DID NOT disclose despite saying they had completed a bumper to bumper inspection. That level of transparency and expertise reinforced my trust in their recommendations. One thing I think is important for people to understand, especially when reading negative reviews, is that high-mileage foreign vehicles will require costly repairs regardless of where you take them. That's the nature of the vehicle, not the shop. At that point, it becomes a personal decision whether to continue investing in the car or move on to something with lower maintenance costs.
