Every bite was hearty and satisfying, and the sauce was perfect with the sides. We paired everything with a Kaiser Karm dark beer, which was fantastic--smooth, rich, and a great match for the meal. For dessert, we had their Sacher Torte, which was also really good and a lovely way to finish such a flavorful meal. Service was fantastic and impressively quick. They offer online reservations, but if you can't get one, don't hesitate to stop by. There's ample outdoor seating and limited indoor seating, so walk-ins are definitely worth trying. What really made the experience a six stars out of five was our server. We were amongst the last cold there so we had a chance to talk with him about the restaurant, its owners and origins as well as some personal stories.
