Apparently, she was driving on a road whose surface was being repaved and had been recently milled, but not yet resurfaced with blacktop. This left the sewer and water manholes exposed with the steel rings into which they are set an inch or more above the roadway and next to impossible to see on a dark night without roadway lighting. She ran right over a ring and ripped the two passenger side tires. When I arrived the local police were there and they had called Penndel Towing and Recovery to take her car to a car repair shop of our choice. Ron arrived with a flatbed tow a few minutes after my arrival. He was highly experienced in these matters, and quickly drove into position behind the Tesla, lowered the bed with hydraulics, and hooked up and lifted the car out of the grass. He gave me his business card and asked that I call his boss to arrange payment via credit card. That was accomplished, and Ron texted me when he deposited the car at our chosen local mechanic. The cost, $150; which is reimbursed to us by our insurance company. Unfortunately, the new tires will run close to a $grand$, which is our deductible on our collision policy. Pennsylvania law doesn't have subrogation by municipalities, so we take the hit despite the clear liability of this town in failing to make this dangerous situation visible to drivers. That's not on Penndel Towing, which was responsible, courteous and professional the whole way. 5 tow truck stars for an unpleasant experience handled as well as possible.

Pinned between the undercarriage service panel and the exhaust heat shield and precariously wedged over parts of the axel suspension. They sprung into action once we showed them the cats location and used the wheel lift bar to raise the front of the car fo enable safe access under the car. We were able to access and coax my cats pined back hips and hind legs and pull her down through the oil access panel and she is safe. Their professional attitude prevented any damage to the new car thanks to the care and protective coverings he put over the side panels to prevent scratching. I called AAA (3 times but that's another review). Once I was in contact with Hacketts, things seemed to improve. They were in constant communication via text and phone. You could actually see where the driver is at any moment via maps. I believe the operators name was Nick (not sure). The Bad: As I said previously " Nick" was nice. Upon picking up my car from the mechanic I noticed my arm rest was broken. Asked the mechanic and he said it was that way when he got it to replace the starter motor. I then called Hacketts. Spoke to guy named Rich or Rick. He said he'd talk to the driver and get back to me. Of course " Nick" denied breaking my arm rest. Now Nick is a BIG guy, I'd guess over 300lbs. Once He towed the car I should have inspected the inside of my car as well as the outside. Complained to AAA and they will investigate.
