Long story short it took Chrysler nine months to order one little part and either give it to me to install or install themselves and they just dropped the ball again and again and again. I purchased my Jeep here and for really liked the service and work from the service dept. Until the last couple years. The last time though was the worst! With the purchase of my Jeep I get oil changes there. It means if something else needs to be done I used to get them to do that work too. Tune ups, add ons accessories, upgrades. The last time i went in for an oil change I told them my Factory installed Sirius radio was acting up. Lights going off and on. Connecting my phone but no sound. Screen going blank etc. They told me the diagnostic could be as much as $270. It seemed extreme...but they said they may have to remove it to find out what was wrong. So ok, i didnt know but needed to know and thought they could be trusted??? Not When i went to pick up my car they charged me that amount. Then told me they did not know what was wrong but i should get a new one for over $800?? and by the way bring it back in so they could get the serial # as the radio had to be removed to get the number nad they hadnt done that??? what the ?? Didn't they charge me almost $300 to inspect it because they had to remove it? Didn't they say that they didn't know what was wrong? If testing the wires didnt get them an answer and they were charging me why did they not remove it. I called Sirius, a new one is under $200 if you are a member (i am) Such a rip off! I have complained before to mgmt of their appalling upcharge suggestions but this takes the cake. I am going to get an assessment of the issue and report this o the BBB and consumer affairs. read more

So initially I had wrote a good review for this company. Unfortunately I have to change it in light of new events. I purchased a used vehicle from Langley Chrysler, they were super nice and professional at the time of purchase. The vehicle was inspected by thier dealership. I purchased extraneous packages where a verbal agreement was made to fix curb rash on three rims. A representative of the company stated, 'we will buff out the curb rash on your rims, or we'll look at replacing them'. Looking back I should have got that in writing. When I drove the vehicle back for the care package i was told I was mistaken and that the curb rash was not going to be repaired or replaced. After long conversations with this dealership- They agreed to pay half for the repair... Less than a year later the battery dies in the car. I take it to a local dealership who tells me that there was a modification done to the vehicle which essentially voided the warranty. Langley failed to see that modification when they inspected the car prior to the time of sale. They paid for the cost of the battery and assured me that my extended warranty was still valid. I did my own digging and spoke to the provider of the extended warranty - they advised, 'any modifications done to the vehicle will void the extended warranty'. Feeling hoodwinked, I called the dealership back and they agreed to remove the modifications out. They stated that once that was completed my warranty would be honored. They arranged a date for picking up my vehicle and stated that they would provide me with a loaner vehicle. The day for picking up my car came. The scheduled time for pick up had elapsed. I called them, They forgot that they had to pick up my car... they then said they would pick it up the following day. The next day they picked up my car. They provided me with a loaner van which was filthy and had less than 1/4 tank of gas... to which they said they would reimburse me the out of pocket fuel cost. On the way to the dealership the driver managed to put an unrepairable chip in my windshield. Langley Chrysler then said they would replace the windshield but asked me to claim it through Icbc... which looking back I regret as they were the ones responsible for causing the damage. I was told it would take a couple more days to replace the windshield with an OEM factory windshield. A couple of days go by... then a week... at this point I grow extremely frustrated and demand they return my vehicle and I would send them the deductible for replacement. They returned my vehicle with fumes in the gas tank. I came to find out that ICBC would not cover the cost for the factory windshield. I called Langley Chrysler back - they agreed to replace my windshield with an OEM windshield, but still had to claim through Icbc. The day came for the dealership to pick up my car. Again, the time for pick up past. I called them, and I honestly believe they forgot to book the pick up... had I not reminded them, this whole situation would have been prolonged. The driver eventually came several hours late. Long story, they replaced my windshield and covered all the costs. Though I appreciate them coving the costs involved, this situation left me annoyed and frustrated with this company. I have a lot of problems with this dealership. This experience with Langley Chrysler has been an absolute nightmare. I have purchased several cars from other dealerships and have never had this many problems. Calling the dealership is also an aggravating experience as several times I have called, the calls got dropped when I was put on hold. I was told 'they were having problems with their phones' (which seemed to last several weeks). On one occasion after being put through to someone's voicemail I called back to speak with an actual human. The receptionist failed to put me on hold prior to openly mocking me in a facetious tone, 'he wants to speak with an actual human'. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Langley Chrysler. This experience has been frustrating to say the least. My only hope is that I will not have to deal with them again. read more

I had a wonderful experience with one of the consultants at Langley Chrysler. It all started with a search on the web for a work vehicle. They happened to have the exact model I wanted. I sent them an email to get the best price for the vehicle and got a call from Brenda E. She informed me of the sale event that was coming up on the weekend and she asked 'What would it take to earn your business ?" At this point in time, I had already visited a few private sellers and car dealers that advertised on Craiglist. I had decided to stop dealing with private sellers because the experience was not that great. The used car lots were no better. Only 2 of the six I visited were excellent to deal with (but they did not have the exact model I was looking for). Of the big car dealers, 2 other ones were excellent to deal with (and again don't have the exact model). One other dealer had an exact model, but, was really arrogant. One thing I don't like is the "buy from me" attitude "because every other vehicle you looked at is not as good as ours, we are the best blah blah blah..." and starts talking down to me. So, with the warm attitude of Brenda , I took my family to look at the vehicle. The vehicle drove great. We walked back to her office and began negotiations. I had prepared for a long day with tough bargaining back and forth to last at least 2 hours. There was no pressure coming from Brenda, no suggestions of a higher priced vehicle (NO bait & switch tactic), no switching to somebody else to talk pricing. She wasn't even insulted by my first offer. She had me write down the offer I think was reasonable, and, they wrote down their counter offer until we could agree to a fair market price.The whole negotiation took only 15 minutes. This is the other 'small' matter I was impressed with. My final offer came with a '4 brand new tires installed and balanced' but I did not write this down on the offer sheet. After the handshake, I reacted deep in my mind, 'Oh NO !' I forgot to write it down. The tires would not be ready until a few days later. I wondered if they will turn around and really honor the handshake agreement. But, when my final offer sheet was shown to me, Brenda had clearly written down 4 new tires balanced and installed. My story did not end there. When I got home, I noticed the spare tire was a little bit bald and so, when they called my a few days later, I asked if I could just take one of the older tires being replaced to be put on the spare, They agreed! 3 days after the purchase from Langley Chrysler, I am driving work vehicle with 4 brand new tires installed and balanced. The whole experience was pleasent and very professional. This is the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. I highly recommend Langley Chrysler and would not hesitate to buy my next car with Brenda E as my consultant. read more

Had our company truck there for the last few months. They were nice to let it sit there while we deal with insurance and Willowbrook Chrysler (who screwed us over before) but now it's been since the beginning of August since I've gave them the go ahead to fix it. Every week I get a call saying it should be wrapped up this week and now I still haven't gotten our work truck back. This shouldn't have taken this long to fix and they told me they finished last Thursday and need a few days to test drive it to make sure it's ok. Well that's fair, but come Wednesday morning(almost a week since they said they finished fixing it) they call me in the morning saying on a road test they found it's not 100%. So was it not actually done till now? This is awful customer service, and we definitely will not be returning, or purchasing from any Chrysler again. read more

One month ago I took my 2014 Jeep into this dealership for a service. I had also informed the service rep that my car would vibrate when started in the morning. They said they would do a full diagnostic on my Jeep and service it . Couple hours later I get a call from the service rep saying the service has been complete and no other issues could be found. I was surprised that no other issues were found as I had mentioned the car vibrates when started in the morning. I paid my bill for the service $1000.00 and my Jeep was dropped off at my house. When I received my Jeep I noticed it had not been washed ( surprising since I paid $1000.00 for a service ) When I got into my car I noticed it smelt like oil, a lot of oil. After looking around the interior of the car I noticed a 4" diameter puddle of oil on my drivers side floor mat. I then had to drive my car to a car wash and clean the interior and exterior of the car ($40.00 Later) the car was cleaned. I then called the dealership and spoke with the service rep just to let him know my findings and how disappointed I was overall. He had offered me a free bronze interior cleaning as a gesture of good will, which I declined. three weeks later I start my car in the morning only to find my engine light is on, and the car is still vibrating a lot. I decided to take my Jeep to White Rock Jeep dealership to check the car out again. After 1 hour of the car being checked the technician was able to find root cause of the engine light and also find why the car vibrates when first started in the morning. Replacing these parts cost an additional $1300.00 . Overall I honestly do not know what I paid Langley Jeep for.. They did nothing, there is no way they did a inspection on the car as they stated. I cannot recommend this dealership for anything, please take your money else where as you will not get what you paid for at Langley jeep. read more

I've had a wonderful experience at Langley Chrysler. So much so, that now my husband and I have returned to buy a 2nd car in 2 months (2016 shaker Challenger, 2012 VW Jetta). Tyler Page is by far the best sales consultant we've come across. He wasn't pushy and In your face. He's the only person we will buy cars from, from now on. We will be sending all our friends to Tyler, no doubt about that. Cant say enough good things about him. Someone here told me that they hand picked every sales associate and that everyone here is awesome. The sales manager Anthony was great. I felt he gave us the best deal possible and he even gave me 2 free presents when i bought the Jetta. Darcy Greig and Lani Calwell in the finance department really made me understand my payments and my credit rating options and felt that they were looking out for my best interest. We had a deal on exactly what I was looking for within two hours and I got a great price. My salesman, Peter, was helpful without being pushy and I was offered a variety of payment options. They even paid for our taxi from the end of the skytrain (King George station) to their location. Called the dealership and talked to Regan a sales person. She did not get back to me so I kept on her, she pushed me off to another sales person Ziyaad. Same issue, kept pushing me off. Finally connected and made a deposit this morning, he took my information and my credit card number for a deposit. I offered full asking price. Was notified this evening by my finance company that the car had been sold to another customer. Left many voicemails for managers over the course of 4 days and not one returned my call. Was supposed to be a surprise for my wife, I guess she will be waiting. From start to finish this was the worst service from a dealership I have ever received. I have had a very unpleasant experience since purchasing a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from your dealership, Langley Chrysler (March 6, 2018). Within 6 days of purchasing my SUV, while driving it stalled three times. I immediately contacted Hyundai (which I had considered to be a large, reputable dealership). I was advised to bring my vehicle in March 12, 2018 for diagnostic testing to Abbotsford Hyundai which is owned by Langley Chrysler. This was absolutely not the case. Believe it or not, the exact same perilous (not to mention very scary) stalling episode happened again, but to an even worse extent this time. While driving at a high speed of approximately 110kms/hr, the vehicle stalled and shut off completely. I was forced to swerve off the road to avoid an accident. The power steering shut off and steering wheel locked, the power brakes ceased as well, and I had to have the vehicle towed. The engine siezed and needs to be rebuilt. . I am in complete awe that Hyundai gave me the go ahead to leave the dealership in a car which had CLEARY shown itself to be unsafe to drive (regardless of an error code showing or not). I did some research and this same problem has happened to numerous other people. I am under the assumption that this must be a manufacturer defect, and car companies likely avoid recalling cars that are unsafe because money is seen as a higher priority than safety (people's lives). Why did I get such a good deal if there was nothing wrong with the car? Why would Hyundai tell me it was safe to drive the vehicle after these incidents occurred? I loved this vehicle and looked at many different ones before making my choice. I am a single mom with two young daughters and need a safe, reliable vehicle that will last us five years, and will likely not have any problems. Be warned they sold me a Vehicle at a deal..too good of a deal and never once warned me this Model has been recalled in the past for the same issues. Langley Chrysler refuses to compensate me. I sold my car and now I am left with no Vehicle. WARNING BUYER BEWARE! Do not buy a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from these guys. It will be a lemon! read more

Once you purchase a car here the sales department will inundate you with calls, texts, emails, mail to spend more money (regardless of how many times you unsubscribe). They offer comically low trade in values for cars, and the sales team make promises they do not keep. I have been waiting for the compensation I was promised for 2 months now and everyone will evade calls and ignore voicemails. My friend had a very bad experience of their service department. He went there and did oil change in October, then oil almost gone after 2000+ km. They refilled it and my friend asked to start oil consumption report. But they refused and said that they would start next time this happened again. After another 2000+ km, the oil almost gone again. My friend asked them to start the oil consumption report, but they told my friend that he needed to do oil change first before they can start the report because it was near 5000km since last maintainence. My friend mentioned about the promise they gave when they did the refill, but they said they didn't have any record for that. My friend was so mad about this. It seemed that they erased the record to hide something. My friend didn't have time to do the oil change on that day. He asked if they can start the report first then he come back for oil change next week. And they sill refused with very bad attitude. read more

I had a call saying they wanted to buy a truck I was selling. I thought probably a waste of time but will drive out. Sunny was helping me and showed me a few cars for the wife. We worked out a deal that was very fair. I still had cold feet about the car I was thinking about getting and they didn't pressure me at all which I liked. I came out 4 times and finally pulled the trigger. The experience with everyone there was 1st class. This a great place to hangout while waiting. Avoid the service department! The one star rating is too much. I do not know how they justify themselves as a service department. Took my Durango in for a service. Was shocked at the $600 price for an oil change.! I could go on as it was even more frustrating and I don't want to get wound up again. Also a few weeks later had my steering lock on the Durango. Called the dealership to find out how to override. The service department said to call roadside assistance I would need to be towed to the nearest dealership. I was in Vancouver I live in Cloverdale! I asked the woman whom I was speaking with to ask one of the mechanics how to override this.... She said call roadside assistance. On the plus side roadside assistance service operator instructed me on how to override in seconds. FYI Langley Chrysler here's how .. Place both feet on the brake and press as hard as you can Also move steering wheel back and forth with one hand Reach over and press start button!! I dealt with Darcy and Denise. I was there on two occasions working out a deal. We settled on a used vehicle. I didn't sign on the dotted line as I wanted to check my other options.  The next day, I checked out Go Dodge in Surrey. In less than an hour I did sign on the dotted line for a vehicle. I sent Darcy and Denise a polite thank you for all their time and that I might even visit them in the future. Darcy proceeded to call me and leave a voicemail stating that I basically wasted her time and made her feel stupid. I then received a similar text from Denise similarly stating that I had wasted her time. My right as a consumer is to shop around for the best deal, especially for a large purchase such as a vehicle. I guess if Go Dodge could give me a better deal in an hour then Denise and Darcy could get in two days. Who wasted who's time here? read more

Purchased a Ram 1500 mid Nov. paid for nitrogen and didn't get, overcharged on 2 different occasions for mods. Undercoating not complete at start. Charged for tank of gas at purchase but was to be part of original agreement. Tow hooks put on backwards and their installed price on average $100.00 more than other dealers. Had service department replace headlight bulbs that I bought from them and they kept the old ones. Now everything has been taken care of but it has been a month of continual phone calls and dropping off the truck. If you deal with this dealer be very careful and check every bill and competitors prices especially on Mopar parts and installation. I haven't found 1 item yet that Langley Chrysler doesn't charge more for and in some cases significantly more. Usually you feel great about getting a new vehicle but this dealer has made it a nightmare. read more

My husband and I had a scheduled test drive. We were told it would be a couple minutes till that staff member can help us. Half hour later no one attended to us, we had then asked for anyone that was available to assist us. It took them another half an hour to find someone to help us. When someone was able to help us they sat us down, chatted to us for about 5 minutes before telling us he'll be right back. We sat for another 20 minutes and no one came back to us. Just purchased a used Mini and the car was a good deal. What really pisses me off is the extra charges they add on to the purchase. Documentation and Finance placement charges for over $1000. I have also recently leased a car from Honda and the extra fees were about $25 for the same thing. Brutal padding of the bill. Chrysler even charged for the gas in the tank. We have been using the dealership for 2.5 years now. The sales team deserves 5 stars, as my family and I have purchased several vehicles and has a fabulous experience. The 1 star is for the terrible service department. My vehicle seems to always need warranty work, they get it half done or I get told nothing is really wrong until I bring my husband in to discuss (really, the rear differential fluid should be black after replacing it??) I also find getting an appointment is beyond painful. I have emailed several times about these issues and about there being no curtesy cars (which would be helpful when a normal day service turns into 4 or 5 days, and when you have two kids to tote around). Nobody has ever returned my email, even though feedback is requested. Perhaps we are spoiled, but when we take our truck to Ford we get it back vacuumed and washed, when I get my Jeep back from you guys it usually is in worse condition with dirt and grease than when I dropped it off and impossible to find in your parking lot. We are in the market to upgrade our vehicle, and we would love another vehicle from here, but the service department is making us look at other vehicles out there. read more

In our first call to Langley Chrysler we spoke to Leanne(Business Manager) about financing. Leanne handed us over to a sales associate named Matt to deal with a vehicle we were interested in. After negotiating a price on the vehicle we wanted and ready to come in and wrap it up, Matt discloses that the vehicle was actually just sold. Leanne and Matt offered to lend us a Dodge Journey as a courtesy car while searching for a vehicle that would suit our needs. We went in and picked up the Journey. Everything seemed fine so far. A few days later Matt calls us back telling us that he was unable to find us a vehicle that would suit our needs and suggested that we should consider the Journey they had lent us. Although it was not on our list, we were tired from weeks of searching and because it was a pretty new car, we decided to consider it and talk numbers with Matt. We called Matt and agreed upon a price. He wanted us to come in to finalize the deal, however we insisted on getting all the details out of the way over the phone first to make sure we knew what we were walking into. So we moved on to the financing details at which point we hit a road block. The numbers he provided were thousands of dollars off. At least $4000 could not be explained and no matter how we asked, or how clear we were, Matt could not provide us with any sensible reason or calculation to explain the numbers they had come up with. With no success on the phone, we asked him if he could email us the calculations and break down the deal at which point he got very rude and said he wouldn't be emailing us anymore, if we wanted the car we would have to sign the documents as they were, they were doing everything legally and we should be trusting them. We explained that what we were asking was not unreasonable and if they could explain it in person they could do it in an email. After a few minutes of talking in circles, my husband refused to do business with them and hung up the phone. Later on the next day we returned the car freshly washed and cleaned with more gas than we had picked it up with. Be very careful, these guys are professional scam artists. They seem very nice at first and are good at what they do. They employed several common scams including the Bait & Switch(Baiting with one car to sell another), the "Focusing on monthly payment" scam(Leanne did this), changing figures in the finance agreement to make it seem better when in fact it had not changed at all, and also lets be honest, these guys wanted to sell us the Journey from the beginning.
