BEWARE. He charged me $300 to fix my water heater and the next day it wasn't fixed and wouldn't come back.

This was one of the best large purchase experiences I've ever had. Joy, my salesperson, was very…read morehelpful and even found me campgrounds to rest for the evening following the purchase after a long drive to get there. The entire process was efficient and everyone was friendly. Cassandra in finance was great answered all my questions and ensured the process was quick so I could get back on the road. Mark, one of the managers was awesome. He was super friendly and even drove to my campsite the next morning when I experienced an issue with my camper. Talk about customer service and going above and beyond. What a great team! I can't say enough positive things. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an RV.

Yes. I'm going to clean this up hard while keeping the frustration crystal clear and the criticism…read moreundeniable. This will read as credible, professional, and damning, not ranty. Here's a tightened, scathing version you can post: (I would give zero stars if possible.) I experienced a textbook bait-and-switch during my purchase, and I brought a friend specifically to witness the signing because something felt off. In the finance office, I was explicitly told that an extended warranty was required for my lender to approve the loan. It was framed as a benefit--"only about $20/month"--without proper disclosure that this was on a 10-year loan. On a $14,700 camper with a $5,000 down payment, I should have financed well under $10,000. Instead, I was sold nearly $5,800 in warranties, separate from GAP coverage (which I actually wanted). That alone should have been a red flag. After taking delivery, I never received a bill from the lender. I had to call Camping World myself--on the day I was leaving for a trip--to find out the original loan had "fallen through." I was pressured to immediately sign new financing documents via email, with the clear implication that failure to do so could require returning the camper. Under extreme time pressure and trusting the dealership to act in good faith, I signed. Only later did I discover additional warranties totaling $2,100 had been added without my consent, which were not present on the original paperwork I signed in person. When I challenged this, I was suddenly told that warranties were "optional," contradicting what I was originally told--and again, I had a witness. I requested refunds for all warranties except GAP. Since September, I have spent four months chasing partial refunds, receiving inconsistent answers, unexplained prorating of warranties I never used, and no clear accounting of what I am still owed. There is absolutely no reasonable justification for a process like this to take months instead of weeks. Communication has been poor, responsibility has been deflected, and resolution has been repeatedly delayed. This purchase was a major personal milestone for me, following serious health challenges and major surgeries. Instead of being treated with basic honesty and professionalism, I was treated like a commission opportunity. Once you drive off the lot, you quickly learn how low you fall on their priority list. I have used the camper only once since purchasing it because the experience left such a sour impression. Please shop elsewhere. If you do choose to work with Camping World, scrutinize every document, never feel rushed, and never assume verbal assurances will be honored. My experience shows exactly what happens when they aren't.

OMG what a jerk. He came to my house to assess my RV issue. We discussed what his fee would be…read morefor the service charge and what the charges would be for the potential repair work. The next day at 11am he sends me an inflated Invoice for the service call and at 2:30 the same day he leaves me a threatening voice mail message that he thinks I'm avoiding him and that he is going to take me to court for non-payment! I told him I wouldn't hire him to walk my dog...and I don't even own a dog.

To Whom It May Concern: 7/13/2021…read more I live in an RV and I had a crack in the black tank and I was given 3 people to call by a local RV dealer. HDRV Service LLC was the one to take the job. The person's name is Chris. He had originally told me that he could not make it until the week of July 12th. On July 9th, I received a phone call from him saying that he was 20 minutes away and coming to look at the tank. It was spur of the moment and I did not have time to clean the blank tank. I did not know that when he came, he was going to start working on it. He told me that if he got sewage on himself then he would charge me a $150 hazardous fee. I told him that if I knew he was coming that day, I would have had the tank cleaned out already. He stated that there is sludge in the bottom of tanks and that it would never be cleaned out completely. I know that my husband and I have cleaned out our tank before with a wand and aerator until the water was running clear, so that made no sense to me. This whole process was very unprofessional and unorganized from the very beginning. For one, he brings his 4 year old son to every job site from what he told me and that in itself is very distracting. He states that his son's mom always harasses the day care until he gets kicked out. This is not my problem nor should it even be a topic of conversation on a service call. The first day he came out, my mother had to babysit his son for the most part because he was constantly getting into things and trying to get into the chicken pen, eggs and among other things. I work from home and I can't have that distraction around me. He was complaining about this job the whole time. He was telling me and my family that this has been the hardest black tank he has done, that he didn't expect to get into all this that first day. Even he said he wasn't prepared for this and that this is normally a 2 man job and he was doing this by himself. Again, not my problem and he shouldn't have accepted the job if he didn't think he could do this alone. He tore the wall in my bathroom trying to get to the exhaust pipe. He tore the furnace ducts underneath while taking out the tank. He pulled wires down from underneath to where they were laying on the ground. My husband came home from his 8 hour day and actually got underneath the trailer to help this guy out, which he shouldn't have to do. We are paying this guy to do the job and he needs my husband's help? My husband started questioning him about the damage he has done to our trailer and he responded saying that things get tore up when you pull a black tank out. He says that the parts are cheap and we could put wallpaper or a back splash on the wall so no one would even be the wiser. My husband said that wasn't the point. We shouldn't have to repair or fix anything. Chris said that we could ask anyone who does jobs on RV's and they all would tell us the same thing, that things will get damaged when repairing an RV. He told us that we shouldn't be blaming him, but blaming the people we bought the RV from. He also stated that if we took better care of our RV then this wouldn't have happened. My husband has been living in RV's for years and he knows exactly how to take care of one. He also said that if we took care of our RV then this wouldn't have been an issue either. He is all about blaming everyone when he does spotty work. He told me and my mother several times on that first day that if it starts to rain, then he is done working. He stated that he will not work in the rain. It did start raining in the late afternoon after he had talked to my husband and pretty much said that he was done with this job and we could find someone else to finish because he felt that he shouldn't be talked to like how we were when questioning his work. He left the job and did not finish which left us using a bucket for a toilet for at least 3 days. This was a very stressful dealing with him. After he left, he began texting me by stating that he would finish the job, but couldn't get out until Monday or Tuesday. I was desperate to get my black tank fixed and really had no choice because I live in my RV full time, so I reluctantly let him come back on Tuesday. When he showed up Tuesday, he had his son with him again. His son was getting into the chickens, throwing rocks, etc, so my sister in law watched him for the whole time that he was working on my trailer which was from 9:30am to 1:40pm. He didn't pay her for that either. Also, when he showed up today, he told me that he may need me to get under the trailer to help him out. He also said that he was glad my husband wasn't there so he can work in peace. He is the most unprofessional service person I have ever dealt with
