I don't think he was doing a poor job, I think he was young, and should not have been left alone to manage the stand. The quality of the shaved ice was fine, but the experience of getting there and being there was not great. I hope it gets better - I probably won't be back for awhile, as there are other places which are consistently better.

They have cleverly cut appropriately sized holes in the tables to hold the save ice containers. The employees have always been nice, and accommodating. They do everything you could expect from a shave ice stand.

When you are in a drive-thru line for 20+ minutes with 3 cars -- and you are the 3rd car -- the wait time is too long. I've simply backed out of the drive-thru a few times, grateful no one came in behind me so I didn't have to wait for yet another 20 minutes. This kind of extended wait time happens a lot. But what's more, they now consistently get my drinks wrong. Today is the last time I'm going back. I ordered a 32oz Me Time with Mtn Dew Zero, 1 extra scoop of fruit (mango), and fresh lime. When I got home, I opened my cup, and I had none of that. I did have a 32oz Mtn Dew Zero, and it did have about 1 tablespoon of frozen pineapple, and that's it. So what then did I pay for? And what makes it even worse is the staff -- especially the girls who run this place -- are often unwilling to fix the drink when it's wrong. They do it begrudgingly and are rude. This isn't an anomaly. I've been here enough times to know this. For this repeatedly to happen, I figure it might be a bad system, bad training, or bad staffing. What else explains this?"
