Office staff were rude and not easy to work with. They wanted us to drop everything the day of the appointment for information or were going to reschedule, when the appointment had been in place for months and we both work. They were hostile. After explaining my symptoms he had a pretty good idea what was wrong with me, and after an MRI his suspicions were correct that I had a stress fracture. It was such a relief to find out what was wrong with me, as I previously thought I had a muscle strain. Dr. Raynor's staff is also really nice and always concerned about my well-being. I really like the system of pre-visit online check-in at Texas Orthopedic Associates, so you don't have to spend each appointment filling out paperwork and you can actually get to your appointment on time. The only negative is sometimes it was hard to get an appointment that works with my schedule. Dr. Raynor is well in demand, and I completely understand why.

Even when surgery is unwarranted, they still recommend it. So, I held out without seeing a doctor while suffering from a bum shoulder from falling off a motorcycle. Ugh. Finally, I had to drag my butt in to the doctor. The pain was unbearable. Surprisingly, Dr. Paschal did NOT recommend surgery. He recommended physical therapy. After 8 sessions with the therapist (a different office & different practitioner), I am now 95% better. Hopefully, I will be 100% better in a couple more weeks. Dr. Paschal truly wants to help you. He is not a surgery pusher. He only recommends surgery if it is needed. He is also very good at diagnosing with only a couple of x-rays. He doesn't necessarily need a CAT scan. CAT scans are very bad for you as they are equivalent of a dozen or more X-rays.

My husband recently had shoulder surgery by Dr. Moen. We keep it in the family bc we love it here and can't say enough great things about the doctors! However, today I was "assisted" by a woman named Hilda while checking in to see Dr. Vineyard, whom I love and who was one of my surgeons. Not only was Hilda curt and extremely rude to me, she seemed to be upset with another employee who had been helping to answer some insurance questions I had, for not checking me in herself. The interaction was very awkward. Hilda had been having a conversation with another woman and it was obvious she did not want to be interrupted. I felt terribly sorry for the woman she was rude to Barbara (who was extremely helpful and friendly!).
