The doctor seemed good. However, his front desk staff, Abby was very unprofessional. I simply inquired about dates that he had available to perform surgery and his staff had an attitude and said they do not schedule via text. If she had read the text, i was simply asking for availability rather than scheduling. Also, when asked if could book a follow up consultation she said it would be $150. On their website it says, free consultation. Not free first consultation and $150 for additional consultation. Very misleading and unfriendly to potential patients. They have to realize that sometimes the patient does not get all questions answered during the initial consult and in order to fully decide its ok to come back for free (since the first one was free) to get all questions answered and to be 100% sure and especially when they are looking to get additional services added. read more

I went in for a quick visit at Lansdowne Aesthetic Center and then they started texting me with advertisements which was very annoying to say the least. They said it was "URGENT" that I get my "PAST DUE" medical exam. I never was to have a follow-up medical exam as I just went in to see about minor cosmetic surgery for a port-wine stain. I never went back for a second visit and never called to tell them that I wanted to set up a second appointment. I am very disappointed for the money I wasted on believing and trusting Dr. Baraki. After paying $2000 for Sculpsure on my stomach, which we both didn't see any RESULTS , he recommended to do smartlipo. I end up paying additional $5000. I do work out and wanted to remove some stubborn fat on my stomach. I am very disappointed at his work, my stomach hasn't change that much, since he didn't perform the proper lipo. I had an upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid reduction) with Dr. Baraki about 18 months ago and I've been regretting it ever since. My eyes look sunken and uneven and I have a deep scar on one eyelid. That eyelid took over a year to open completely and looks bumpy. Dr. Baraki was also extremely rough and insensitive when removing my stitches. I had tears running down my face. He never said sorry for the pain. Instead he downplayed my pain as minor discomfort and defensively blamed me for not following his directions. I had followed his post-op directions closely and I still have his directions sheet at home. I left his office sobbing from the pain and the way I was treated. Dr. Baraki said that it may take longer than usual to heal and that's why I've waited so long to write this review. It's been 18 months. Never ever go to that Botox place (Lansdowne Aesthetic Center to see Dr. Yaqub Baraki. He has some of the worst bedside manner, I've ever seen, maybe think of him more like a bully who pressures you into paying him more money or you don't get the area treated that you wanted, he refused. Please not Dr. that it's NOT my fault, you discounted your services and had next day appointments. I've had botox done twice before and at two different locations/firms which I only ever needed was 16-20 injections and they got all the areas addressed. Today, Dr. Yaqub Baraki tired to tell me that I NEEDED 40 injections, yet also said that my crows feet were not that bad........ He asked what area(s), I wanted to be addressed as he asked me multiple times. Each time I said the eyes, because of the crows feet and the one droopy eye lid that everyone else can see on the planet but him and yes he took a photo. But of course he refused to do my eyes.... or else he wanted more money. I said well, in the past at other locations with 16-20 injections on my 30 something face they addressed my forehead, crows feet, eye brow to give me a lift which I liked. He said that was impossible to do with only 16-20 injections Then he questioned where I had my services done. Then he asked me, how long did the Botox injection last. I said, 6 months and he said to me..... no way. . You must have a very very slow metabolism. Then he got pissy when I didn't give him more money and so he only did my forehead and refused to do my eyes, which again was my main reason for going. On 9/27/19 I received an in office quote of $5,500.00 to get Liposuction of my mid and lower back and upper arms done. Then on 10/21/19 I received an email from the above business with a coupon that stated " Get an additional 20% off ALL existing quotes". I went to the office spoke with the billing coordinator who stated that my original quote was incorrect and that they would not honor it or give me the extra 20%. When Dr, Yaqob came he's telling me that 20 unit is not enough and I need to buy another 10 unit. And when I reject & said, I always get only 20 unit. Unprofessional and shady business tactics by unprofessional staff. Very inexperienced and too under qualified to perform their job duties professionally. I was greatly disgruntled with the last experience I had at Lansdowne Aesthetic Center. To my surprise, on the date of 13 September 2017, around 2:30 pm, I was at the receiving end of some very poor service by a person who had the audacity to tell me that she can no longer honor me the services that I had paid for in advance. I purchased a package (six sessions laser) and paid for it in advanced. After I completed my fourth session and just before I leave the room, a lady who didn't even introduced herself, and have no idea what her position is came to my room and close the door to tell me that she NEEDS to talk to me and begin to harass me about the remaining of my six sessions. Unprofessional and incompetent this person was that I was appalled at her behavior and her threatening voice. I could not believe how could such practice still in business with this type of behavior. I am extremely disappointed with my second visit to this location. I purchased a voucher on LivingSocial that allowed up to two separate purchases of 20 units of Botox. On top of the regular deal I was able to get a 10% off discount through the living social site. When I call to schedule my appointment they said they would not honor the LivingSocial voucher even though I had only been there one time before. However they told me that they would honor the price I paid and that I could come in the office and pay them directly. When I showed up for my appointment they told me that they honor the regular LivingSocial price but not the discounted price that I originally paid. So not only did they fail to honor their Loving Social deal but they also refused to honor the sales price we agreed upon on the phone. The negative comment on Yelp about the Botox injections is ridiculous. I sold botulinum toxin for 5 years and the woman CLEARLY does not understand how the drug works. It is dosed in units not injection sites. She has so many misstatements it isn't even worth addressing. Honestly, her post should be ignored. I've been to probably 4 places for laser hair removal and theres is the most painful! I got laser hair removal for brazilian and it was painful and hurt with every single zap. I was very uncomfortable and wouldn't go back but unfortunately I bought a groupon from them and don't want to waste my money... Definitely go to a laser place that has the cooling feature on their machine.. Laser isn't supposed to be that painful and I didn't have the same issues when I went to other places....
