I just don't understand why I was being billed for 15 min (X 2 since 2 employees both bill fifteen minutes) any time a question was asked to another employee in there company. Do your research. Most of the successful websites they maintain were already successful. If you are looking for an internet marketing company to build your business go anywhere else, maybe some place cheaper then turtle hut. You would be better off trying to find a tech savvy high school student - their work is most likely better then Turtle hut and doesn't cost $100+ an hour. That's what I did.

Well, not so- I sent a downpayment for the site and never heard anything so I sent him a note. He was on vacation with his kids, ok so then I still never heard anything and sent him a note. He said send me the pictures and info for the page, I did and still no word back. I emailed again and he said, "lets get this going". Great, but he never did well after that I was in a serious rear-end accident. There was no way I could use the website for my job because I was in a lot of pain, and could not work. I sent Jake a note telling him and since he did not complete any work on the site I ask for a refund. I was willing to compensate him for the inconvenience again no respond to my notes. Finally, he tells me he has very little money coming in and could only do a small amount each month. OK, I understand so I suggested $50 a month well once again no response to my notes. (ever-no respond to text, emails or call) I don't know what his issue is he has a website advertising his work. He takes the deposit but does not do the work. Maybe a scammer, and even though it is a small amount I am going to fill out the forms for small claims court to get my deposit back. I have been very patient but to me-and it seems to be the same for the other people who have posted reviews-he definitely sounds like he takes the money and then you get nothing in return.

He has no web development skills, he never made one deadline, he didn't complete the project, and every time we were supposed to get together for a consultation he had a headache or his daughter was awake. He is horrible, please don't waste your money with this guy. I wish I had read these reviews prior to sending him any money ($1000.00). The little bit of web work he did do was horrible, something out of 1985. I'm giving him a negative 5 stars if they let me.
