I had a hard time believing my co-workers about this being the best curry restaurant in Richland but they were definitely right. I had the yellow curry and shared spring rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce. The spring rolls were delicious, filled with lettuce tomato and shrimp they were a perfect start. The curry is served with a side of white sticky rice. We had the yellow curry, red curry and stir fry. I tried the chicken with two stars for the spiciness of the dish. I understand people's devotion to this restaurant. The curry is a perfect balance of sweet and savory, the vegetables are all cut consistently, there is fresh basil and just the right level of creaminess from the coconut milk. The restaurant is a clear four stars, the setting is plain and the décor is sparse which makes the focus on the food and company that much better. read more

LAOS IS THE BEST! Here's my first experience with how I ended up at Laos as a frequent customer. I went with A few of my friends to Woos teriyaki. a couple things that really bothered me there. 1) the food in the pictures are generic stock images, so the food that comes out looks absolutely nothing like it. I got the beef teriyaki which looked like high end steak in the picture, and I ended up getting something that looked like roast beef, and it was very gross. 2), the customer service was absolutely awful. I cannot stress this, some of us wanted Laos, the Filipino restaurant next-door, and the rest of us wanted Woos. The two that wanted Laos, went over and got it and came back. They sat down with us and started eating with us, we actually got yelled a by the owner. It was very disrespectful. We went out and sat on the sidewalk just outside both Woos and Laos when the owner of LAOs comes out and offers us FREE food. The kindness of the owner from Laos was outstanding. Best customer service, and great food. Highly recommend going next-door if you're looking for some delicious food with a great atmosphere. That being Said, I have gone to this restaurant probably twice a month since! You just can't beat the combination of good customer service with great food. Thank you Laos! read more

If you haven't been to this place yet, don't sleep on it!!! I found this place when I was really craving pho and had a house full of sick boys and my husband with the man flu picked up two chicken phos and decided to try the spring rolls. THIS PLACE IS FIRE!!!! I normally call in my order and they always tell me 10 mins which is always accurate. Today, I decided last minute that I wanted to place an order, but instead of calling it in, I walked in and placed a "to go" order. The man who took my order not only was friendly, but also offered to bring it to my car!! And also, I waited a whole whopping 5 mins!!!! Please, go support this place. This is a hole in the wall establishment, but the food is delicious. It's off to the left of the shopping center. There are only about 6-8 tables inside along with 2 waiting benches for those who are taking to go. I had the Beef combo pho dish. It's like the Vietnamese counterpart. The lunch size portion is very generous. The noodles were at the bottom of the bowl and unclimbed after you toss and turn the meat with the noodles. I was expecting the broth to be a little saltier, but I suppose it's healthier that way. The meatball halves were a bit small. The 2 pieces of tendon I got were a bit tough. The service is prompt and friendly, and the restaurant is clean, clean, clean. The fresh rolls were skimpy on the shrimp, but the peanut dipping sauce was plentiful and fresh. The Pho broth was gloriously free of fat on the top and not cloudy. Skimping on the chicken made the bowl lackluster (maybe 3 tablespoons of chicken). I know the cost of meat has gone through the roof and took this into consideration. The spring rolls were alright, although too much lettuce and not enough shrimp. Also had the Pad Thai with beef, two star spicy out of five, and it was good. As I walk into the establishment, I was immediately greeted by the cheerful worker. While scrolling thru the limited menu, I find varieties of authentic Laotian and Thai dishes ranging from Chicken Larb, papaya salad to phad Thai. My lunch consisted of the chicken phad thai which was very flavorful and the noodles were cooked to perfection. It comes with the sprinkles of crushed peanuts and a slice of lime with a sprig of cilantro on top. Great presentation for a to-go order. I also ordered the creme cheese and crab stuffed wontons which was good, however for $4.95 for the 4 pcs order I thought I wasn't getting my worth for the amount I spent on that appetizer. I also ordered the Thai Tea Boba which really disappointed me with the flavor and consistency I've been accustomed to from other restaurants that serve Boba. Overall the decor and ambiance is really nice and well decorated. The touch of music from their great selections on Spotify really sets the mood just right for dinners. I will return here whenever I'm in the area and need a quick fix, but if I want better bang for your buck, I highly recommend driving up to Kindra's Wok N Roll located on 9th avenue in Richland. read more

To start off I'd like to express my complete satisfaction with the service here. I had the combo Pho and an order of salad rolls. The Pho; was a great portion size, had noodles, tripe, tendon, meat ball, and beef strips. It also came with a side of Thai Basil, bean sprouts, lime and Asian chili oil. Condiments provided were oyster sauce, Sriracha sauce. As for the bone broth was lacking flavor (which is the key to great Pho.) I had to add a lot of extra flavors to make it taste savory. The Salad/Spring rolls; had lettuce, shrimp, ground chicken or pork, and noodles. With a side of peanut sauce and like a sweet fish sauce. The iceburg lettuce they use takes away from the taste of the roll, since it is shredded and a lot it's kind of overwhelms the other ingredients. The peanut sauce was decent. Overall I recommend this place. One of the better Loas restaurants in the area. Food was decent and excellent service. read more

We ordered spring rolls, the laab and the tofu and veggie pho. The spring rolls were good: tightly wrapped with a good amount of filling. I would like to note they appeared to have regular iceberg lettuce which tastes kind of bland. However, the peanut sauce they came with was pretty tasty. We ordered sticky rice with the laab but it also can come with plain white rice. The dish was delicious, he wished he had ordered two. The only qualm was that there were still a few tiny bones left in the pork which prevented him from inhaling the dish. The tofu and veggie pho is by FAR the best pho I've had within 200 miles of the Tricities. Coming from the pho-rich city of Seattle I have struggled to find a restaurant to fill my pho cravings: this is it. The broth was full of flavor and in no way water or bland like some places' vegetarian answer to beef bone soup. The veggies tasted fresh and the noodles were just right. As is traditional with pho they give you very generous portions for the price (about $8): you can make 2 to 3 meals out of it. Beyond the food, the service was also fantastic. The waitress was very friendly and accommodation. She was attentive to all the diners and even greeted a regular by name and order. We were also attended to by who I believe is the owner...? He was also very friendly and accommodating when we asked about banh mi. He seems to really care about the quality of the food he serves. I also noticed a tiny Asian grandmother back in the kitchen which is a good sign by itself that this place is legit. We will definitely come back here to get our pho fix and try the rest of the menu. read more
