My husband wanted a storage shed for lawn equipment, patio furniture and all of my flower pots (to store over winter) & supplies. Personally, I have never seen a storage shed that looked nice until I saw the shed options at Lapp's. I fell in love with one of their designs (check out my photos). They had several design options that were very nice but I chose this one for our property. What is great about Lapp's is their design options can be customized. From shed size, windows, doors, interior shelving, countertops, flooring, etc. I purchased a copper horse weather vane when I was out of town. Lapp's helped me design a cupola to mount him to. They added a copper roof to the cupola to coordinate with my horse weather vane. They also added windows so we could add lights inside of the cupola which looks awesome at night time. We kinds designed the shed for the horse! haha From the first design appointment to delivery of our "carriage house" shed, every detail was done with FIRST CLASS! Linda was awesome to work with plus she was very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the owner of the company. It is very clear that he runs a very professional company with knowledgeable sales staff, quality construction products & workmanship along with an impressive delivery service. Our property was a difficult delivery (in my option) due to our curved driveway with trees. Lapp's delivery staff made the delivery look easy. Due to the design of the reverse gable, our shed was delivered without the roof. As the shed was being placed onto the stone pad, an Amish crew arrived and started to install the roof & cupola (and of course, my horse weather vane!). Within a few hours, our beautiful shed was completed! After it was completed, I was very impressed with the quality plus the interior storage. We had two lofts installed with a moveable ladder. We also added a work bench which I love to work at when I am potting my flowers. As a local interior designer, I have recommended them several times to my clients. Went there to look At a used shed and talk to an Amish gentleman there who thought he was high and mighty. Said that they do not keep the you shades in the same area where they build the brand new ones because they don't want nothing like that to be seen on their lot.I have never dealt with an Amish person like this that. thought he was better than anybody else. We are supposed to be humbled on this earth. I guess he forgot that part in church or when his parents told him that when he was a child. This company truly lives up to its name. Not only are their sheds of great workmanship but they live up to their guarantees. After over 12 years my roof began to have a shingle issue. They were curling and breaking. As stated when I purchased the shingles I was told they were warranted for 20 years. After contacting Lapps Structures about this issue I found nothing but care and consideration. I sent photos of the issue and documentation of original purchase to them. They then took care of the matter by replacing all the damaged shingles. This is what a company is all about. I would highly recommend this company as they sell quality sheds and now I will continue to enjoy my shed for years to come. It still looks and remains as new as when I got it.
