However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

He didn't want to install it because to do that the front bumper must be removed and without experience doing that on a Camaro he advised me to call a pro, but call a mobile mechanic. A lot of shops won't install something they didn't obtain and a mobile mechanic would be more reasonable. I called Raal's and was quoted a very reasonable price. Jerry came, removed the bumper, installed the part, and I had a working headlight in no time. I found Jerry to be reliable, trustworthy and professional. I won't be bringing my car to a shop anymore. Soon I am due for an oil change and the convenience of having a professional come to my home is fantastic. I will be scheduling an appointment with Raal's.

We have plenty of proof, including affidavits that we're getting from the mechanic shop, phone calls, text messages and overwhelming evidence again people watch who you hire even when you provide proof it seems not enough for someone that doesn't want to take responsibility for the bad work done these are all my opinions except for the facts that I have and will be providing in court. I tried to resolve this with Mr. Kole showed him evidence. Let him know what I had and he still refuses and said I will see you in court clearly this is someone that doesn't want to take responsibility. I will be updating after it is resolved in court. After the installation, I took my car for a ride and there were many warning lights on the dashboard. Not sure if they damaged all the sensors on the car but all the sensors are now giving me warning lights and these warning lights will not go away. If you have newer cars, DO NOT let these guys fix your cars. One of the mechanics was hitting the back rotor with a huge hammer very hard to get it off and must have damaged all the sensors, I guess. Another possibility is that the other mechanic was using an electric saw to cut off the dust covers and might have cut a cable to cause all the warning lights to show up on the dashboard. I sent them an email about all the warning lights but no response from them. They were able to install the 4 rotors and 4 calipers just fine but the brakes don't feel very tight and feel loose when hitting the brakes. I have to push the brake pedal almost all the way down to the floor in order to stop the car. I recommend these guys if you have older cars with no latest technologies. They have damaged my new car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: 6/2/2025 Took my 2024 Nissan Z to the Nissan dealership and they found 2 problems with my 2024 Nissan Z. They told me the technician Kyle and another technician from High Idle Mobile Mechanics who installed the brakes on my car damaged the ABS sensor and the R/F HUB BEARING which will cost me about $1658.50 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wheel Bearing Replacement - Front: DIAG VEHICLE AND FOUND DTC RF NO COMM WITH RF ABS SENSOR. INSPECT SENSOR AND FOUND THAT SENSOR IS BROKEN. AND HUB IS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY. We call and made an appointment to bring our car the next day. The folks at Wilhelm did a quick examination and brought us the bad or badder news. We had two quotes; one at $1900 and one at $1600. The difference being off brand components. Our service tech did give us a moment and we chose the lesser cost option. They told us that our car could be ready by 4pm that afternoon and they offered to take us home and pick us up when the car was ready. We really appreciated their offer (we live about 18 miles outside of Surprise). Their driver was friendly coming and going. The service was prompt; however as we drove off our engine and transmission were lurching. We made one stop and decided to immediately bring back our car back to the shop. The quickly took it back and we waited. They said they needed to drive it for about 10 miles to reset the computer engine system because it was self adjusting. We waited another 20 minutes and our car was ready again. We got in drove off and all seems good. In summary, Wilhelm Automotive was courteous, efficient, and responsive. Staff was all very friendly and we will bring back our car if we have other service needs. We did get a "free" sunscreen. My wife and I laugh and call it our $1600 sun shade.

MY plug change is working great...still can't figure out this fuel leak they're talking about, but still catching whiffs of gas here and there. Idk what they did but I'm convinced they did something. Well, I was right in the middle of a job needing it for a long haul when it began acting up really bad. It would chug at stop lights and it was behaving like it wasn't getting fuel... and it finally even died on me. Especially because I've got a diesel and I know they require a special touch. Well, not only was I expecting the bill to be much higher but I honestly wasn't expecting to get it back until Thursday or even Friday. The parking lot was full and my passenger was happy with their service. I needed to replace my Wife's car AC cabin fan and radiator fan. I bought the parts at the dealer expecting to do the repair myself. After watching YouTube videos I decided someone with actual skill and experience needed to do the job. I made an appointment through Yelp. The repair took about three hours. I was happy when they called with the request to proceed after testing that they did not try to up sell me on other repairs, just I was right that the fan motors were bad. When I picked up the repaired car, they did have a list of issues and discussed the importance of repairing each. Most were just fine right now but watch for issues in the future. They did say there was a split hose from the engine air filter to the engine which needed replacing sooner than later. Since I do the routine maintenance on my cars at home they suggested buying a new hose and installing it myself. They were happy to do it but said that part was easy to replace. I also appreciate they returned the replaced parts without me asking. First repair and I'm impressed. I posted on an Uber driver facebook group about the company. One driver replied they don't go Cha-Ching when a female walks in. Everything about my first repair was transparent and fully discussed before the repair and when I picked up.
