Found Lara via Yelp and so glad I did. She immediately set me up for alterations of a formal dress. Making suggestions on possible fixes and showing me examples by pinning and amending. She was so patient and understanding. She assured me we had plenty of time prior to my formal event. She texted me less than a week later notifying me the dress was ready. I popped in and indeed my garment was ready and fit perfectly. I have used other individuals in the past for alterations. Some were better than others but Lara is different. She genuinely wants you to be happy with your garment and cares that you are satisfied. Also her shop is pristine, clean and bright. This is something I haven't seen in other alterations shops. I did not bring my dress here originally because I thought it might be too expensive, however I was completely wrong. The shop fixed and altered my dress. I thought I would support a new business in my area. I brought her 2 pairs of pants and a suede dress. When I picked up the clothes today she complained that the dress was hard to alter. She said this 2 times to me. If she couldn't do the job she shouldn't have taken it. I guess she wanted me to pay more for the services. I will not return.
