While the orthodontist was kind and did his best, there was no way he was equipped to handle this with my very sensitive/sensory challenged son, and both visits were traumatizing and unsuccessful. Dr. Patel, and her wonderful staff - especially Maryluz who truly went above and beyond to help us-- got our son back into a trusting place, then were able to fit him and finally get the palate expander on with no trauma. We will forever be grateful because we know this goes beyond appearance - it is important for his health for a lifetime. We moved our 5 year old to the practice as well.

When scheduling, I made it very clear that I would need nitrous due to dental anxiety. After arriving, I waited over an hour past my appointment time, only to finally be told by the receptionist--without any empathy--that I couldn't have nitrous because they had "used the last of the oxygen." This is not a small oversight. For patients with anxiety, this kind of preparation and communication is essential. To wait that long, after traveling and arranging childcare for a newborn, only to be dismissed so casually is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If you experience dental anxiety and rely on accommodations like nitrous, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This office does not seem equipped to handle those needs with the care or consideration they require.

The procedure was over quickly after they took the time to let the nitrous oxide and novacaine dull my senses. I heard the also offer general anesthesia. I might have considered that if I was having more done. They gave me plenty of time to recover and did not rush me out. They sent me home with an ice pack, some extra gauze and instructions on how to care for the site. Staff was friendly and explained the bill to me before and after (and nothing changed). The doctor even called me at home that evening to see how I was healing. Gentle but strong - good qualities for an oral surgeon. If you need oral surgery, call these guys.

Dr. Woo actually cares for his patients need's and not their pockets. (Unlike most dentists) I had such a wonderful experience while getting braces as an adult. First let me say the price was excellent and the great service makes you look forward to your next appointment. After my braces were removed, I admit I neglected to wear my retainers and also did not return for a follow up for about 7 months until I was due for a cleaning. At this point Dr. Woo made me realize that not wearing the retainers caused my teeth to start to shift to the original positions. Then a miracle happened: Dr. Woo proceeded to promise me that he will fix the issue by doing the entire process again. This meant putting on braces again but this time and for the next year the Dr. did not charge me 1 cent for the job, as he explained he was not satisfied with the outcome and wanted to make sure I was happy with the results. Wow, unheard off. I am extremely happy with the results and Dr. has earned my loyalty for life. He gives patient, thorough explanations, and I can honestly say he's improved how I take care of my teeth. Beyond that, he's a true Renaissance man with many hobbies and I enjoy going in to chat with him about music, or travel, or languages! With that being said, I've never had a better dental experience than the one here. I had a routine cleaning with Dr Corridor (I hope I spelled that correctly) and she was beyond amazing. She answered all of my questions and even took it easy on me haha. I would highly recommend her and anyone at the office. The staff is always nice and the wait time was non existent. I can't even believe I'm writing a great review about a dental office so that should tell you enough. Plus they have an office dog. By far the best and most pleasant experience at a dental office in my 37 years.
