I lived in Texas for a couple of years and one of things I miss dearly are the tacos (especially breakfast tacos ). I had seen people speak highly of this place on various foodie groups and gave it a try a few months ago with my boyfriend. I remember we got regular tacos (as in not breakfast tacos) but don't remember which ones we got. I remember them being delicious, though! This morning I ordered a half dozen bacon & egg breakfast tacos (have to have leftovers!) with salsa Roja. I immediately scarfed down two of them (although one would have been enough) and it tasted just how I remember them tasting in Texas. I have never been able to recreate a breakfast taco like those despite the fact that tortilla, bacon, and eggs are all easily available no matter where you are. Something is just different about those Texas tacos, lol. my only disappointment was that I ordered big red soda (I was so excited to see they have this!) and received big red gum instead. However, that could have been an error on my DoorDash driver and not the restaurant. I highly recommend this place for delicious, cheap food. read more

Convenient. Tasty. Inexpensive. Can't go wrong with any of those. I've sampled all their tacos and the baked chicken. Everything is good to go. The portions are not skimpy. I mean a 1/2 chicken with rice and beans for $5 is a steal. It can feed two people. I've been here a lot since they opened and don't see that waning. I will note that their flour tortillas are the way to go. Request that the warm them well though. If you go with corn, beware as they don't seem to get warmed enough and tend to fall apart. Gas station tacos! I work down the street and sometimes I just want something quick and filling that won't break the bank. If you have eaten in Reston at lunch time you will find that places get packed quick! Yes this taco place is inside a gas station but the food, prices and efficiency is worth it. I find the ingredient to be fresh, I like the carnitas tacos. I always get 2 tacos for $5, now these tacos are more like smaller burritos in size, so it should be enough food. Best bang for you buck is taco Tuesday! For their bogo deal so 2 tacos for $3! Be prepared that cheese, sour cream will all cost extra but at those prices it's still a deal! read more

I went to Loredo Taco for the first time today and was not impressed. I placed my order at the kiosk and selected the items offered for a vegetarian taco, they seemed completely confused by my order. When I got home, I found a single plain tortilla and then a separate container with the items that were selected to go inside the taco all mixed together. The carnitas taco and chicken quesadilla I ordered was mostly good except for a half inch cube/piece of fat in the taco. But the negative experience of my visit was that the clerk at the gas station tried to short change me by 5 dollars when I gave her a $20 bill to pay for the food. Had some breakfast burritos the eggs were dry and tasted old or pre cooked. The pico de gallo was all onions and over powered any other flavor. If you want a good breakfast burrito go to Anitas in Herndon. read more

The touch screen ordering is flaky. The instructions are non-intuitive and the machine itself does not provide good feedback. I had to place a large order twice because I botched the first order due to a bug in the order machine that duplicated my first order rather than my most recent order. Having said that, the staff was responsive and quickly canceled the first order, and got my subsequent order perfect and quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. If they had a way for placing an online order, or fixed their touch screen menu, this would be 5 stars without hestiation. read more

I think this place is highly UNDER-RATED. I eat there often and order a single taco which is made from freshly made flour tortilla (corn is an option as well) and very fresh ingredients. There not the very authentic Mexican tacos that have arrived in this area but they are very good and the prices are great as well ($3.00 for one, $5.00 for two) and as an added bonus they have seltzer water on tap! The only constructive criticism I have is that the amount of the ingredients can be inconsistent from one taco maker to another. Most of the time the filling is more than adequate but every once in a while they are a bit on the "lean" side. read more
