The half gallon is in a glass bottle which you pay a deposit for ($3) and never again, as you switch it out for the next one. The gallon milk is in a plastic container and tastes just as good. They do have other items for sale in their fridge like eggs, cheese curds etc. Clean happy cows taken care of by a true American family - can't get much better than that!
