I find the front staff to be extremely kind and helpful, the lab has always done a good job with blood draws (and I'm someone who gets that feeling of being in a tunnel typically, and I've done really well with them even while still having trouble at other labs). Dr. Ortiz in particular is caring, takes the time to listen and answer questions, and is very careful and thorough. When some of my results were borderline he sat down with the practice and talked the details over to make sure we were on the right track. I'm seeing an endocrinologist in the hopes of having of getting pregnancy and having a safe pregnancy, otherwise my lab results would not warrant a endocrinologist. Were chatting about the zero cancellation notifications. ---- A receptionist of an adjacent doctor's office told us that the office closing on Fridays and patients not being notified is a common occurrence. ---- I called the main office (Providence) but had to leave a VM (no one ever answers the phone.) --- They called back stating their office policy is to send "cancellation letters in the mail" (all patients witnessed that day never received notifications). --- Shocking that a doctor's office policy is to use snail mail to cancel appointments. (about as hands off as you can get related to customer service.) Suggestion: They need to update their office policies and/or hire enough staff to be able to preform the basic functions of: 1) answering the phone; 2) using email notifications when rescheduling appointments.

And again: "Freedom of the press relies as much on the honesty and responsibility of the writer as on the government that supports it" - basically calling Dr HJ Roberts a liar and a cheat. Dr. HJ Roberts didn't have to redo the scientific research in (t)his layman's book - the peer reviewed science was already done by many others. At that time Drs HJ Roberts and Russell Blaylock, Alan R.Gaby, Woodrow C Monte, Mercola (and countless others) objected to Rolla Arturo's conclusion that NutraSweet was safe. Before the book was written there was a laundry list of serious negative consequences. They could all see it in their clinics. I have found that the Dr's who run behind are usually the ones who give the patient the time they need. There are Dr's who also are behind and rush you out without a proper visit. I saw Dr McLaughlin about 5-6 yrs ago and I was having a very difficult time finding the cause of my extreme distress and she treated me better than most Dr's. She did an adrenal stimulation test 4 me that confirmed I low levels and poor response when the body needs it. She even monitored other hormone levels I was using replacement therapy for and when I had missed a few doses not thinking it would make a difference so quickly the Dr sent me a message informing me I dropped below and needed to not miss any doses. I spent yrs looking for help prior to this and a PCP told me it was just anxiety and got mad when I told him it is much more than anxiety. He put in my Records that I refused to accept his diagnosis that it was depression / anxiety and that's what Drs saw every time I sought help. I had reached desperation and went to the ER and the resident Dr was asking me all kinds of ?s looking for an answer until the head Dr came in and said he has a history of this and won't treat his depression anxiety and told me to leave. I was very lucky to have found an outside doctor Dr Bingham who at times spent over an hour w me. He found I had toxic levels of copper in me, that I had complex sleep apnea both kinds, found I had the lowest Testosterone levels he had ever seen, serious gut issues and an infection caused by antibiotics killing off all the good stuff resulting in C-Diff infection that can be life threatening, and other issues. Unfortunately he Retired. My currant PCP told me Testosterone was only for married men having trouble getting their wives pregnant. Saw him 2 weeks after the ER visit and he had already decided he was going to start antidepressants and when I tried to explain it was much more than that I got no help after barely 15min w him his nurse poked her head in and said next patient is waiting so that was that only to find out later he charged my insurance and sent me a Bill for 3 Hundred dollars claiming I owed for 2 visits because we didn't finish on time. What can you do in 15 minutes w a Dr after my temp and blood pressure were taken she said the Dr will be right in as I sat there for 10 more min. I recently tried to get a prescription filled on a Thursday before a long weekend; however, there was a glitch and it never got sent. I called on Saturday and left a message with a covering physician who said there was not much she could do until Tuesday but that she would contact Dr. Zabik, (very nice thing to do). Later that day, Dr. Zabik called my home and left a message that she had called it in for me. I did not ask her to do that but she did it because she is such a caring physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Zabik and this practice.
