There is a wonderful terrace and small lawn on the back side of the property where the ceremony was held....beautiful. There are several rooms throughout used for sit down dining, dancing, bar areas and cake display. The massive oak doors welcome you and make you feel as if you have been transported back in time once you pass through. There are plenty of nooks and crannies for wonderful picture ops...and not just for the wedding party! We were seated at our table and given the cocktail menu. I ordered the rosemary greyhound. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of rosemary in it. They have a full bar and others at my table had mimosas or bourbon. The brunch menu had many choices, all looked amazing. At my table we had the short rib hash, the boursin cheese egg sandwich, the salmon egg scramble & the sausage, egg and pimento sandwich. Everything was excellent. The hash had amazing roasted potatoes, a nice amount of meat and two beautiful fried eggs on top. Actually, all the dishes came with a side of roasted potatoes that were wonderful. One of the things that I think would really elevate this restaurant is if their orange juice was fresh squeezed. However, it was quite good. We will be coming back soon to try the Italian grinder and the Nutella French toast. We are told that there is music on some nights and we did not review the dinner menu. However, if it's anything like the brunch menu, I can't wait to try it.
