This place is HORRIBLE. I went here about a week ago with a horrible chest cough, wheezing,…read morecongestion, and severe fatigue. Dr. Stephanie Dees told me that I had a cold and sent me home with some cough syrup and a prescription for Flonase, and told me to come back in a few days if I wasn't getting any better. So, I came back about 5 days later, feeling even worse, and she just seemed baffled by my case. At this point, I was sure I had bronchitis or something of the like. My symptoms were like the textbook version of bronchitis, and I've had it before, so I told her that's what I suspected. She didn't even check my lungs for wheezing, but instead ordered blood work (I still have no idea what she was looking for). She called me back 2 days later with the results and said everything was normal. In the meantime, I went to a different doctor (Dr. Ghosn in Dawsonville), and told them the same thing, and got diagnosed with bronchitis. They checked my lungs and could hear wheezing right away, and sent me home with antibiotics and steroids to speed up the healing process (thank goodness). I am already feeling better after 2 days of being on this medicine. Do NOT go to Dawson Family Physicians unless you want someone who has no idea what they're doing to look at you. To Dr. Dees, I am completely normal. Go to Dr. Ghosn instead! Even the nurse in training there could tell that I was very sick before the doctor came in to confirm and prescribe me with medicine. Thank goodness for them. Thanks for reading!! Just didn't want anyone else to waste their time and money on this horrible place. There has never been any other patients in the waiting room at Dr. Dee's since I first started going there, and I should have taken that as a warning sign from the start.
