Did not talk to me, did not review my history with me, did not examine me, started to walk out then as an after thought said Oh let me listen to you, probably so she could charge me and rushed me out telling me go to my Primary. Urgent care cannot diagnose things beyond flu, covid, and other basic illnesses. They told me they couldn't do anything for me and to just go to the ER. They charge $30 upfront. After the appt, they sent another bill for $156. My low rating is to due to being charged $200 for a useless appt. Like most of US healthcare, they are a business.

I decided to try Piedmont for my Commercial drivers license medical recertification. I am a Safety…read moreManager for Thomas Concrete. We have about 800 CDL drivers. We send most of our drivers to places like Concentra for the recent. I didn't even get past the paperwork at Piedmont. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine every night. It works great. My machine comes with an app that allows you to see and share your results. Mine averages 0.1 events per hour. This treatment allows me to sleep up to 10.5 hours if I have time for that. Concentra and many other recertification offices accept this app and the report generated by this ResMed app as proof of use or compliance. Piedmont does not. They told me it wasn't good enough and that I needed a letter of compliance from my pulmonologist. My recertification ended right there. I have had a CDL for 35 years. I don't drive for a living. I'm a Safety Manager and I run a CDL School. So, Piedmont wants me and my 800 CDL drivers to miss another half day at work top go see my doctor and get a letter stating exactly what I handed them and showed them on the ResMed app then miss another half day of work top go back to Piedmont again? Pass. I will recommend to all of my drivers to avoid Piedmont because they just make things to difficult on people and drivers. Do not go there unless you want to have to go back two or three times for nothing. DO NOT USE Piedmont for Medical Recertification or your DOT card recertification. They are too difficult to deal with. Again, I have held a CDL for 35 years and I am an Environmental Health and Safety Professional. Thanks.
