I called and let Al know what was going on and he told me to bring it in. The hours are not reliable since I tried coming in a few times during business hours to find out they were closed. I went over today and he tried my amp and saw that it wasn't working. He tells me he can give me $50 back towards a purchase of another amp. I questioned why I wasn't able to get the full amount I paid which was $75. He told me he was unable to. He could have it shipped out to get repaired and that would take a couple months. The new amp he had for me to purchase I would have to spend another $50 dollars on. I was so confused why he wasn't just giving me the $75 dollars that I spent towards a new amp I would purchase in his store. He told me that when things like this break you get them repaired, the store just doesn't give you a new amp. A questioned why it made sense that I spent $75 dollars on what I thought was a new amp and to find out it breaks within the first week and I, the customer, have to lose out on $25 dollars, AND have to buy another amp for an extra $50 dollars, AND at a store that just sold me a defective amp and basically said "too bad so sad". Towards the end he was yelling at me and said he wasn't doing anything at all for me and I left with my broken amp. He got very emotional and couldn't hold up his own when being questioned about the quality of his products and customer service. As I walked out I said "I heard you guys are closing?" he said "yep we are after 64 years" and I said "I can see why." To that he said "have a great day!". I go to another place for my guitar lessons and they are wonderful!! And they said they'll fix my amp.

I came in and Ted immediately recognized my voice and my need. He pointed me to one of the cheapest guitars and when I heard the tune of it (compared to my old one) I knew I had to have it! I was so eager to take it home I almost forgot to grab a case to move it with. I checked out the soft cases and wasn't really vibing with them and then I turn around and Ted pops out with this feaux alligator skin wrapped hard case, guitar already in it and ready to go.
