They never called to provide updates, The first time I called they said it would be ready the following week, when the next week came, and I hadn't heard anything, I called again, and only then did they inform me that the replacement parts came in damaged so they had to re-order parts, and it would be ready the following week, which it wasn't and I still didn't get a call. When I finally did go to pick car up, I paid the deductible, the guy gave me my keys, no invoice, nothing, I had to request that too. It wasn't even worth saying anything to these guys because I think their severe lack of brain cells would have prohibited their ability to understand, or care.

At 110K miles I've had one every 5K miles.I've paid an average of $40-$60 over its lifetime but.. never $140. There was no quote online or in person I was ever given, I was in no way expecting $140. I told them this at the counter, and they said they quoted other shops around and they're all there. Ok.. uh no. Regardless I'll never be back. He gave me a quote of $3,000+ to replace the engine. However, he recommended that I junk the car. He said he'd give me $350 for it and would haul it to the junk yard. I agreed, thinking the car wasn't worth another few thousand dollars since I had already put in over $1,000 at his shop. That was a few months ago. Today I drove by and saw the same car for sale. I stopped in and asked him how much he wanted for it. He told me, "Whatever I can get." The point of the story is that this guy either lied to me or he's trying to sell a hunk of junk. Steve and his shop are not trustworthy. Avoid them.
