Literally. I had a burst sprinkler pipe, & Conrad was at my doorstep a mere five minutes after I contacted their office. He had it fixed in no time flat! And also checked all of my other sprinkler heads. The cost was so reasonable that I kept them on speed dial, in my phone. Naturally, they were my first call when my automatic sprinkling system wouldn't pressurize, this spring. Conrad to the rescue! He came to my house, and fixed the problem with the flip of a switch! I felt so sheepish that I had forgotten to turn it back on, after the winter! Conrad could have easily had me pay him, and been on his way.... But he said I had paid for an hours-worth of service; & he was going to give it to me! He dug out sprinkler heads. Replaced sprinkler heads. Did a checkup on the entire system. I was so impressed. What a great company.

I respectfully replied that I had already made my point clear and that I did not wish to have further contact. Despite that, he sent me another message -- this time pressuring me to remove my review and essentially blaming me for everything. To be clear: I paid my bill. I acknowledged it was late. What I cannot accept is being threatened with a lien on my home over $250, and then being personally harassed by the business owner when I shared my honest experience. I stand by my review. Reviews exist so customers can share their experiences, good or bad, without being intimidated into silence. For me, this stopped being about a sprinkler bill a long time ago -- it's about how a company chooses to treat people. And the way Yard Masters chose to treat me was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable.

Providing and installing flagstone at the base of a rock wall stairway and under a slide and putting in one piece of flagstone at the base of another rock wall stairway. Mike and his crew left me with a big mess to clean up. I was clear on what materials I wanted used for the flagstone, as it is in an area that gets sprayed with sprinklers and I was concerned it would sink and shift (I have previously installed flagstone myself and I know what not to do). He ignored my request and installed it as he saw fit. He cut out my sod, put down 1/4" layer of sand, then laid the flagstone and filled in with road base the sand base was not even stamped down a little bit. The road base he used is not landscape road base, which should be smaller than 1/4" instead what he used is approx 1/2-1" when I had requested we use sand and a quarry stone (or something comparable) along with top soil for planting. The flagstone is not level, it's not set, so most of it wobbles, and there are spots where there is nothing holding the flagstone in. He also left the one piece of flagstone on the other step sitting on dirt after he removed the sod to lay it, there is no sand, no other materials, just a piece of rock sitting on dirt. They covered a walking path with black slag, they didn't clean up the slag, so it is all over my rock wall and has somehow cemented itself onto my rock wall. The bark they installed was installed haphazardly and I have had to remove half of it away from my plants so as not to suffocate them. I talked to him about these issues and walked the yard with him. He apologized for leaving some of these things the way he did, and promised to come fix what they'd left unfinished and a mess. Along with me paying for an add to re-do the flagstone completely. Instead of showing up when he was scheduled to fix it, he has kept pushing back the date. He's now not responding to my attempts to contact him and resolve this issue. He has since put his house up on the market and moved to Wyoming. Whatever you do, do not hire this company or this man to do work for you.
