Never finished the back porch roof, left shingles all over the yard, and damaged a tree n hid the busted off branch in the tree, who knows what else they messed up I'm not a roofer. Do not recommend. I have called them for months to have it finished, only time they contacted me was for final payment, and I told them I will not be paying unless they finish it. The next year they called me and wanted to finish the job. So I set it up and they came and finished it. A little over a month after they finished the job they sent me a letter threatening to put a mechanics lean on my house. I'm supposed to be patient waiting a little under a year for the roof to be finished but yet they give me a month to make payment. Terrible company to have work done on your house. I had hail/wind damage on the roofs of my house and garage, as did most of my neighborhood. I chose Larson-Keeney and was very satisfied. Three aspects mattered to me in selecting a roofing company: quality of work, reliability of clean-up, and efficient and pleasant communication throughout the process. The company, the project leader Nate Hopkins, and all members (12 people) of the roofing crew receive an A+ for the work. Nate arrived in time to assess the project; the crew arrived as scheduled, and they were finished, including remarkable cleanup, in 7 hours. Extra thanks to all for respecting the plantings in my garden and the edging of my driveway (amazing back-up driving by the crew truck). The initial salesperson Chris Frederick was knowledgeable and pleasant in guiding me through the process. And insurance agreed with the assessment, a great relief. I contracted additionally for gutters on a garage that had previously had none, so of course no insurance claim there. I'll file a separate review for that work when it takes place, as well as for an additional small rubber membrane on one section (still to come). The price seemed reasonable, even with an upgrade beyond insurance for better shingles and the gutters on the garage. Enough said! read more

Located in West Allis - I went with Larson because they were local to Wisconsin and seemed to have good service. They missed their 3-week installation guarantee, took 38 days, didn't communicate about scheduling, and showed up unannounced to do the project when I was out of town. The work was poorly executed (downspouts misplaced, nails left everywhere), and customer service was abysmal. They also took 30ft of intact drainage tubing and threw it away without asking. Despite their contract offering $100/day for delays, they refused to honor it. I spoke with their customer service and Luke, who was my point of contact, but never received any responses regarding the $100/day delayed. They did fix the direction of the downspouts, but never responded to me when I repeatedly inquired about whether they would fulfill their side of the contract regarding $100 per day they were late. When I asked in person about the 3 week guarantee they said they have never had to honor it. I am also concerned they won't honor their gutter maintenance warranty either. Would not recommend. read more
