They greeted me upon entry and checked me in seamlessly. The technician who did my eye screening was very courteous and proficient. Next, Dr. Lim was very precise, professional, personable, and succinct with her explanations of my eye exam. Lastly, David, at the front of the store was very helpful when it came to choosing my new prescription glasses. David took the time to explain certain lenses, my prescription, my insurance coverages, and other questions I had. He was personable, stylish, and professional. When I gave myself a gnarly corneal abrasion causing terrible discomfort, my wife (who is a patient…read morehere) told me I should give them a call to have it checked out. Thankfully they were able to fit me in that same day and I saw Dr. Vinh, who diagnosed my abrasion and immediately alleviated my discomfort with numbing drops and a contact lens bandage over my cornea, prescribing me antibiotic drops to take to prevent an eye infection. Long story short I leaned the very hard way that I am allergic to a specific type of antibiotic eye drop (which for the record Dr. Vinh said was quite rare) and my eye swelled up and became badly inflamed overnight, causing me to return the next day and see Dr. Perry, who took great care of me and gave me steroid drops to bring down the inflammation. A day later and my eye was as good as new, and I saw Dr. Vinh again who gave me a clean bill of health. Simply put, I could not have been in better hands than I was with NOVA Vision Center. The professionalism and care that I experienced from the receptionists to the techs to the doctors was second to none. These folks are good at what they do, they truly care about their patients, and it shows. I now look forward to making them my new eye care place in the future, hopefully next time under better circumstances! :)

I think this office is my favorite. I never have to wait. The front desk staff are organized, courteous, and professional. I was greeted by a receptionist and the assistant. They assistant performs a few eye tests before doctor comes in. She explained the testing process. One small complaint, I had to ask her if I was getting the a "glaucoma test". She said yes. Perhaps glaucoma tests are included as part of regular exam unlike in the past (at different doctor offices) I opted for the extra test. I was in and out within 15 or 20 min. The LensCrafters staff was waiting for me and escorted me next door to their store. This was great because some locations are so busy it takes a while to get someone to help you. Overall- a relaxing and seamless experience! I'd recommend this practice.

For my last appointment, I messed up the schedule (no reminder from the office), I thought my appointment was half hour later than my actual appointment. While I was almost at Tysons Mall, I received a phone call from the front desk asking if I was going to be there. That's how I realized i put down the wrong appointment time. So I asked the front desk should I reschedule the appointment. Knowing I was already almost in the garage, the receptionist told me I can still come in. So I arrived 10 minutes late for my actual appointment. When I arrived, the technician promptly took me to do a quick examination and sent me to the room for Dr Son to arrive. Dr Son came in without any greetings, no facial expressions. I immediately apologized for being late. He had no response to my words. Immediately he started the vision test, but very obviously not as thorough as before. He finished the examination quicker than usual and told me my vision hasn't changed a bit. I told him I feel my current contacts can't see far enough, I wanted to adjust it more for driving. He told me I can see far enough according to the test he just did. Then walk out without a word. I looked at my watch, from the time I walked in until Dr. Son left the room, it's less than 10 minutes. For all the years I've seen Dr Son, this is the only time I had the schedule wrong and arrived late. I don't think I deserved the passive aggressive attitude from him. If I was really that late or caused any inconvenience for his time, they could simply reschedule me. Not going there again.

My ophthalmologist gave me an eyeglasses prescription which gave problems with my vision. I had to go back to Dr. Sinyai, which I have seen on and off for ten years. She examined me thoroughly and gave me the right prescription which solved all my vision problems.
