We had a phenomenal time at Lattilleria. Ate so many things on the menu. The best part of the experience was the staff. So sweet and concerned about how we enjoyed the food. It was the first time the girls ran the kitchen by themselves as the main chef was not there. They visited our table several times to make sure all was well and our waiter did everything possible to make our dinner lovely. Thank you for being so customer oriented. read more

This restaurant has a very good location which was steps away from our hotel. It is tucked in a more quiet street which is good in the sense that having a nice dinner at the main square sometimes can be chaotic due to the loud music and vendors. The interior of the place was artsy and cozy. It had enough fans facing different sections and tables which is useful when it's warm. The establishment has a friendly vibe and I appreciate how they warn the clients with a sign saying that they make slow food..which only means that it's made with love and care. We patiently waited (more than one hr)for the food expecting it was going to be really good... unfortunately our tacos took so long which was fine until we tasted it. The costillas we're so dry and lacked flavor and the simple salad we ordered was the last to arrive which was odd since it is made from raw ingredients, chopped and tossed together. The restaurant only had a few tables, and we were the only party that ordered food. I would understand if they were extremely busy and our dishes were complex, well it was 3 different tacos and a salad. What makes it worse is that we can see the open kitchen from the table, they were a bit lax. I don't want to be disrespectful to the craft, but if the food was well made I would maybe give another star. We paid around $100 (USD) for food that was simple, not so flavorful, and took a while to make. Hopefully this review will help them improve service and quality maybe in time I will give it another chance when I visit again. read more

I really wanted to like to the food here. The atmosphere and the service are great. We ordered quite a few things from the menu, and even though it wasn't crowded, it took more than an hour for our food to arrive. All of the food came out at once, and the meat dishes were room temperature. It probably tasted better when it was freshly prepared. Normally, servers will ask if you want them to bring out the food all at once or as it is prepared. Since we ordered a lot of small plates I assumed it would come out as it was prepared, but that did not appear to be the case. The the spices and the presentation of the food were very good. This place is pretty expensive, so it's unlikely I would give it another chance given all of the great choices to eat in Huatulco. read more

This place is one of a kind. It is uniquely designed and provides and very welcoming atmosphere. The host and cooks are one in the same and they are very gracious. Otto the owner was amazing and the passion he has for his food is evident in the way it's prepared and the taste!!!
