The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

There is creek running through several area through the trail, but the time we were here in Autumn, it's mostly dry. My wife and I have golfed here at least three times a month for the last 3 years. It is a fun…read morecourse that can be challenging from the tips, family owned as I understand, and we usually have a good time. Over the last month each week the course has gotten worse. They have let some kind of rot creep under the greens. We have watched it get worse consistently over the past month until the last weekend when they were completely unputtable. To make matters worse the greens and much of the fairways were hard pan. I knew we were in trouble on the very first hole when I had a 100 yard lob wedge straight down the chimney that landed on the front of the green bounced 5 ft high and rolled off the back. To make matters worse they raised prices this year and have let the course go to crap. I really like this course but it is simply not worth the money. I really want this place to do well but won't be playing it again unless it gets significantly better. We made a tee time on the course for the next weekend at elks run. It's worth a few dollars more to us to not have to put up with the aggravation. I figure over the last 3 years we've spent at least $8,000 at twin oaks. I just don't know how they're going to survive.
