These folks are absolutely amazing. Super nice - wonderful service - meticulously clean - the best quality and the value far surpasses anyplace else we have visited within 50 miles. We drive 20+ minutes to go there when there is a place 3 minutes away. I always get the rum raisin ice cream. Brings back memories of living in Germany and by far the best rum raisin ice cream wd have had in the US. We try to visit once a week or biweekly - we need to do all we can to support places like Larue's to keep them in our community. This ice cream shop is cute but I'm not sure why this place has five stars for the ice cream. I did not like the taste of my butter pecan. It didn't taste like butter pecan at all, and at 67, I've been even better on my entire life. I have sampled it all over the country. My husband at a chocolate concoction which he said had a good flavor, but we both agreed that the ice cream was greedy like it had been thawed and refrozen. Service was prompt and friendly. For the price paid, I am not returning. So for the sake of everyone else, I am giving this place to three. I'm not sure if we just chose the wrong items at the wrong time or what. read more

Everyone enjoyed their selection and service was quick and friendly. We were going to take our ice creams to go, but they had a nice sitting area that was kid friendly so we stayed in. This is by far the most complete ice cream shop in Dunellon. Every nice selection of scooped ice cream. They were very flexible making a Sunday to order, large scoops and plenty of toppings.Their location is in a strip mall which it their disadvantage I believe. Other locations listed on Yelp have either gone out of business or list ice cream as a secondary to their primary business. Next time you're there ask for the Harry Truman and see if they remember someone ordering that not that long ago. read more

Two lovely ladies and one handsome gentlemen worked very hard and pleasantly this evening to feed our crew of nine teenagers and two adults. We tried flavors ranging from banana pudding to brownie nut fudge to coconut and Superman. Everything was excellent, and the banana pudding was amazing!
