Food was good ice cream was good. Customer service was great, the guy that came out was so kind and he made sure we had everything. Of course I forgot to ask for a few things and he didn't mind one bit. He was so grateful when I gave him a tip. Working in the service industry myself, I get it. TERRIBLE customer service and care DO NOT EAT HERE! My family LOVES Sonic. When we moved to Citrus Springs Florida we were so happy to find a Sonic nearby. Going there had been an awful experience. At one point they screwed up FOUR orders in a row. My family begged to give them another chance. After several correct orders they totally messed up or last order. WRONG FOOD and MISSING FOOD. This was the last straw. I told my family to not ask for it any more because I was not going to pay for it any more. They have stolen my money for the last time! What's not to love about Sonic you guys? I mean, if nothing else, it brings us back to a simpler time, a time where it was acceptable for someone to wear roller skates and bring you food and beverages. Whenever I'm in Dunnellon, I'm always going to stop at Sonic mainly because in Dunnellon, there isn't much else to choose from, so yeah, I'm going to pick up that pineapple milkshake. All jokes aside, the milkshake is amazing. I might even pick up a burger, or fries, or mozzarella sticks. Maybe I'll pick up any combination of the three? Maybe I'll pick up all three- the answer is all three. Sonic is great for that quick fast food if you want something that isn't McDonalds. The prices are really reasonable. The service here is relatively quick. The food is tasty, especially those fries. Sometimes you feel like your screaming your order to God up in heaven because their speaker system isn't the greatest, but once you've gotten over the shame that everyone has heard your $13 order of multiple items, you just prepare yourself to feast and enjoy. read more

This Sonic is one of the oldest ones around. Ice cream sundae's are my fav. All the deserts are fantastic. This sonic has been in town since the 80's. Best Sonic ever. read more

Probably the worse sonic I have been too other then they did get the order right hence the 2 stars. Starting off I ordered online then drove from my location 3 min away to this sonic and my family waited there for 20 minutes just to get a wacky pack, footlong chili cheese dog, 6 BBQ wings and 2 drinks. All the stalls were empty except for the drive through that was also moving very slow. I am extremely disappointed at this sonic as all the others I have been to get the order out in 10 minutes or less. The chili dog was a BIG disappointment after getting home it has hardly any chili on it and the cheese was mostly on the outside of the bun. Not saying song go to this Sonic just be ready to wait a LONG time for your order and for it to be somewhat on the ghetto side of how they make it and how much effort they put into it. read more

I was so excited to see that we had a sonic, they normally have the best burgers, so we tried it out tonight for the first time, and their burgers are totally different, the lettuce is big pieces not shredded, the buns and the meat is different, not a bad burger but taste no different than going to Wendy's, so if you're looking for a sonic burger you won't find it here. There may have been a trainee making drinks the past couple of days. Yesterday, I waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order. When I alerted them, I ordered a limeade, my favorite drink at Sonic. They came out with a lime slushy instead. It was good, but not what I ordered. Today I ordered it online to get the same for 1/2 price. I received a cup of Sprite with 2 lime wedges! Management needs to oversee their emoyees better or train them to do it correctly. I'd hate to see what it's like when it's busy. Very disappointing. read more

if you have the dunnellon booster club card for a free footlong hot dog with the purchase of a footlong hot dog they will try to charge you for it. i have been through the drive through at least a dozen times in the last few months and the have got it right 2 times. when you try and explain it to the employee they do not listen and will not get a manager to explain to them what to do. they will lie and tell you the price on the meal just went up while you are ordering. i pulled out of line again yesterday after being lied to by the same girl who tried to pull the price went up lie last week. read more

I don't normally review fast food, mostly because things with fast food never change. I love stopping for a drink or milkshake here. BUT, every time I have been my cup is sticky and covered in syrup. Anyone else have this issue? Sounds petty but damn it is not that hard to wash your hands or the side of the cup off before serving it to a customer. Service here is always slow. I have lived in Dunnellon for over 7 years and this is the worst place for food in town. Every time I am in there its different staff that's completely new with no care for there job. Youre usually met with a rude person taking your order that simply doesnt care and 9/10 messes up your order. Order a m&m reeses blast? sorry only reeses in it and when you asked for it to be fixed they take 10 minutes to make another, are rude about, its super dirty, and sticky when you get it. Order a double cheeseburger with no mayo? nah you get a single loaded with mayo. simple stuff that's constantly messed up. read more

I like sonic but tonight was a disappointment. I asked for nerds in my slushy and when I saw none were in there i told the employee about it she rudely said "yeah there is(not even looking), do you want me to like show you".
