One of the things that sets them apart from say a Rita's Italian ice are the "layer in" items. You can add in stuff between your gelati layers, such as Oreo, Biscoff Butter Cookie Crumbles, Mini Chocolate Chips, Rainbow Sprinkles, or Chocolate Sprinkles. You can also just get the soft ice cream. I saw someone with a cone that was HUGE. They small sizes here are generous, but if you want to go big, then you definitely can! When walking in no one greeted us or explained the layout of the store. In the front was glass cases of chocolates. Behind the cases there was many aisles of chocolates that were grouped. Groups ranged from sugar free, to holiday, to different types of chocolate flavorings. I was under the impression that there would be good sales but there was not. There was a large warehouse room next to the main room that was the discounted room. I believe everything I looked at was expired. Not expired by like a week or two, but expired my 6+ months. I was in shock. I would not purchase anything expired. Plus the prices on expired items were still very steep. When leaving we same employees passing out free chocolate samples but we did not get offered that. I wouldn't be back.

My…read morestepmom talked about how good the ice cream was and the wide variety of flavors, both regular and boozey. So, we wanted to try it out. This small shop was absolutely perfect for the entire family. When you walk in, it's got a retro, "tye-dye" look and feel that brings you back decades. It's really fun and lots of memorabilia to bring people back. I think my personal favorite was the wall rotary phone, and challenging the kids to use it Once inside, we were greeted by the lone employee scooping the ice cream that day. She was fantastic, asking everyone if they wanted a sample of something and making sure we knew how the ice cream could be served, whether in a dish, a cone, or as a shake. We took our time but we all settled on something different. I picked out the "adult" butterscotch crunch shake. I would argue it might have been the best I've had in a long time! The flavor was amazing and, getting it as a shake, it tasted so smooth and creamy! We all enjoyed our ice cream, the ambiance, and the staff it was all around a great experience. I could only imagine the atmosphere and feel on a night with one of their activities such as trivia or karaoke. What a great shop!

Ambience, service and food quality are all top notch, for both indoor and outdoor seating. On our recent dining experience, we were meeting up with a friend from Hawai'i who was in the area for a conference, and reserved outdoor patio seating. I ordered the Island Chicken (so flavorful and my go to), my wife tried the Tuscan Salmon (she finished her meal before me and our friend!), and our friend ordered the Bella Italian sandwich. We all loved what we ordered! Since it's been a while since we've seen our friend, we spent a lot of time catching up, or "talking story" as they say in Hawai'i. It wasn't busy so we didn't feel like we were holding up any party from getting a table. Loved that the manager even came by to check on us. A very nice dining experience! We would surely be back.

If you order and eat inside, they give you a table number and bring it out to you. I ordered a small hot fudge sundae, my one friend ordered a New York Cheesecake blizzard, and my other friend ordered a Turtle Sundae. When they brought our orders to the table, mine was fine. For the New York blizzard, they tipped it upside down (like they're supposed to - to show it's thick) and handed it to her. My other friend - they put a Turtle Blizzard in front of her, that was half melted. They didn't tip it upside down, because if they did - it would have gone all over the floor. She said - I didn't order a blizzard, I wanted a sundae. The staff person said - we don't do Turtle Sundaes. My friend said - we come here all the time and you can make them - you just put the caramel and pecans on it. I order it all the time. He said - that's an upcharge. She said - I don't believe I've ever been charged extra for it. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. She could have got up and make a big todo about it with a manager, but who wants to have to go to that level just to get their order right, especially when they come regularly. Bad on Dairy Queen for having employees who don't even try to offer to make it right. He should have apologized for the mistake and made her the correct order. Maybe better training is in order. I offered to go talk to a manager for her, but she just wanted to move on. I've only been through the drive through before for a blizzard, so this was my first sit down experience. Didn't leave a great impression,
