It was just 2 girls running the whole restaurant, hosting and waiting tables, and they were very apologetic for issues and long wait times. This place is on the backside of Wellsville. It looks like they are remodeling, everything is new but in the bar area it is under construction. The place has great Mexican food. It was delish and didn't taste like out of a can . The service was great seated and waited on right away. They never hurried us out or to order. It was busy at dinner time which was a good sign. We had the fajitas which was a lot. I took most of it home as it was a lot of food. We also had burrito bambas. It was soooo good. I was visiting a friend in Wellsville who recommended this place that very recently opened. I was very skeptical as I didn't expect any authentic Mexican food given the area, but wow was I surprised. I ordered the enchiladas and they were amazing. They are authentic and had so much flavor I was honestly surprised that Wellsville had such a legit Mexican place. We were a party of four ordering different items. The service was excellent and very fast. We were given extra salsa and nachos without having to request them and soon after that the meals arrived. I had Carnitas, my wife had fajitas and both were excellent. Our friends meals were excellent as well. The restaurant was very clean and Covid rules were followed. It always surprises me to find delicious and authentic cuisine in the middle (of what I think) is "nowhere". But just outside of Wellsville, located on Route 417 is definitely a "somewhere" - it's where you will find a humble, little gem called Las Brasas Grill Mexican Restaurant. First few times eating here, I'd of rated it a 5. Food was always good, very authentic, and the service was on point. This time however, while the food was still ok, the service was lacking. The server that sat us told us she would be our server, her name was Angel. Well then we got a new server when our food arrived, I know that happens but after that, we were never seen again, both girls walked right by us and I stacked our plates up neatly, food was totally gone, and it didn't take much brain power to be able to tell that we were ready. We sat there about 20 more minutes after we got done eating because we both don't like to cause an awkward moment. Somehow nobody knew who's table it was I guess. read more

Las Brasas does a great job. Their food is authentic with generous portions. The menu is very complete. The margaritas are excellent. Management and service is friendly and efficient. How does this place get 5 stars. Nasty food, the kitchen doesn't have a clue. The menu does not tell you the items on the food. When asked to remove unknown topping, it doesn't come with a new dish, they just scrap it off. If you have an allergy, too bad. Cook/owner had no applies and could care less. Stay away! read more

Fine dining with excellent food that taste superb!

My husband and I have gone to this restaurant since they have opened the Wellsville location. Tonight (10/19/21) will be the last time we ever go there. Our waiter gave the table next to us my husbands Food. The woman at the other table took a bite of the rice and also cut open the burrito. the waiter comes out and tells the lady at the other table the kitchen made a mistake and he'll be right out with her burrito. the woman told the waiter she has cut into the burrito and has taken a bite of the rice. The waiter brings out the woman's food. 2 minutes later mine and my husbands dinner comes out. my husband got the burrito that the woman next to us cut into and took a bite of. Not only did that happen but the table was very dirty with food particles all over, the menus were covered with sticky syrup like texture and the bathrooms were disgusting. It's a shame a place we used to enjoy going to went so down hill. read more
