Midway through the service, I was contacted and informed that an additional $90 would be required for another hour because the allotted 2.5 hours was insufficient to complete the job. Upon arrival, multiple agreed-upon areas were not completed, including the inside of the oven, microwave, refrigerator, living room, and patio. At no point prior to booking was I informed that the entire service--including add-on services--was capped at a total of 2.5 hours. Had this limitation been disclosed, I would not have proceeded with the booking. Expecting two cleaners to complete a deep clean plus add-on services within this timeframe is unreasonable. The mid-service request for additional payment, combined with incomplete services, resulted in a failure to provide the services as represented at the time of booking. The cleaning staff were professional and courteous, and this review is directed solely at the company's policies and practices. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company or book again.

It would be accurate to say that there was a lack of any smell. Just a clean sofa. A bit about their communication prior to the job. I received quick and clear messages from the company. They quoted me a price and gave me a vey reasonable window of time for the appointment. They weren't the least expensive quote, but I didn't think it was worth the risk to save $10 by going with someone with lower reviews. They reminded me the day before and confirmed the timeframe. Showed up like clockwork and were done in under 2-hours. I will try my best to keep my 2-pups off the sofa, bit who are we kidding...I know I will be calling them back for an annual cleaning. About two weeks ago, one of the workers accidentally broke my $380 marble table. The worker that broke the table was extremely apologetic and very worried how Her boss, Carolina Avila would react to it. I told her that I know accidents happen and I appreciate her honesty. I discussed with her that I would speak with the owner, Carolina Avila regarding replacing or paying for the broken item. On Yelp, the company states it was bonded and insured , so I figured they could easily pay me back for the broken table. Once I spoke with Carolina, I made sure to mention that I absolutely adored the cleaning service and ladies that have been cleaning my home for years. As a refund, I suggested that they could refund me the total of $380, OR they could deduct the amount from what I normally would pay for their service, which was $350 per clean. So Carolina deducted the $350 then paid me the remaining balance via Venmo. The conclusion of our conversation was pleasant and nice. Fast forward two weeks later, I received an email the night before they were supposed to clean, saying that They are no longer providing their service to me. I was very stunned at the email, it was very unprofessional to drop me as a client when they are the ones that broke my table. Not only that, I called them multiple times and they have not responded to my phone calls or emails. They act like they are the victims, when I've been nothing but respectful and nice. Carolina Avila and her husband are punks who hire undocumented immigrants and pay them very little. I know this as fact because their workers have told me, and that's why I always tipped them WELL in cash. If you are reading this, do not hire these people. I have the personal phone numbers of their best working employees, and I would hire them ...... not MAGIC MAIDS --- this is in response to Carolina who responded to my initial review, since all she cares about is Yelp reviews and not responding to phone calls or emails. When Mayra broke the table, she initially said she would pay for it and it would take about three months. I told her that she didn't have to pay for the table, because the company she worked for was bonded and insured, so they could file a claim and get the money back without withholding their pay. She said "ok" . Toward the end of the cleaning, I saw her taking the table outside , I asked her what was she doing, and she said she was taking the table, said Carolina's husband was going to fix it. If you look at the photos, the marble was completely broken, there was no way to fix a broken marble top. So I told her don't worry about it because I could buy another one. So the claims of her being uncomfortable or me being mean are just totally false, I've bought Mayra Christmas gifts and tipped them well in the past. This incident I wasn't even upset about the table, I just wanted the total cost of the table to be replaced because it was a newer piece of furniture. As a business owner, YOU should have called me and apologized for the inconvenience, I shouldn't have had to call you multiple times and text you multiple times to receive a response from you. But once again, this shows you her character. I do not believe the cleaning ladies said they didn't feel comfortable in my home, I don't believe that claim you're making, because in all actuality they said that you (Carolina) sometimes withhold money from them, and don't give them their tips that other clients give to them. I have also encouraged the ladies to start their own business so they can cut you out of their pay. If you read all the negative reviews on Magic Maids, you can see Carolina attacking her customers, instead of taking ownership of the mistakes they have made, she is a very bad business woman. Once again, to anyone reading this, PLEASE DONT USE MAGIC MAIDS BECAUSE THE OWNER, CAROLINA DOES BAD BUSINESS AND ONLY CARES ABOUT YELP REVIEWS. I called Gonzalez D&K Cleaning to request for a deep clean to remove all the mold and mildew stains in my shower and Daniel was so patient in answering all of my questions. I was worried they may not be able to remove all of the mold stains but Daniel assured me they would do their best and he addressed all of my concerns. I received many quotes and Daniel gave me the most affordable price with top reviews so I decided to book an appointment. It was the best decision ever! Miriam and Hilda did SUCH an amazing job in deep cleaning my bathroom! They removed most of the black mildew stains that I couldn't remove myself. They even removed the ugly grout at the edge of my bathtub! I was pretty impressed they cleaned and removed almost everything! My bathtub looks brand new now!
