I chose to work with Fanny and her team for a move in clean. Two cleaners were sent in the morning for an estimated 5/6 hour clean. I let them in and left for work. After my full 8 hour shift I returned home to find them just finishing, which was unheard of to me as there was NOTHING in the condo and it wasn't in particularly bad shape. They used my time away to their advantage to charge me for a longer cleaning, plus the kitchen appliances and blinds weren't even that clean when they left. I had a deep-cleaning job to do, so I looked for cleaners to help. I was clear in that I needed baseboards dusted/cleaned and attention be paid to details. I requested three housekeepers for three hours, but Fanny's had only two, which was OK, but cleaning is hard work. The housecleaners started strong but got tired toward the end, which I completely understand, and it was why I requested three instead. I have no problem with how the cleaners cleaned the bathrooms. The bathrooms were spectacular. The ladies even removed hard water deposits. On the other hand, I had to go back and clean baseboards/kickboards in the kitchen because they had not been cleaned. There were other uncleaned baseboards. The ladies also cleaned areas that I had not requested, so they spent too much time on the oven instead of on baseboards and the floors in general. I would still hire Fanny's again for cleaning although I did not get a *complete* deep clean, but I hope that my constructive feedback will help. read more

I hired Fanny's to clean my house and my mom's house for 2 years between 8.18.22 - 9.26.24. What started was me seeing chemical stains in my mom's marbled (in May this year)shower seat. I tried to clean it after but without any good result. I didn't tell her since I figured maybe it was there before they started cleaning my mom's house. But when that same chemical stains happened in my own home, then I knew her cleaners did it. At first Fanny denied everything saying they don't use abrasive chemicals nor metal scours, or that her employees doesn't use the hard part of the sponge to clean stainless steel sink. That the stains were already there before on my less than 5 yr old new kitchen Stainless sink, my oven knobs, oven handles, my bathroom sink Kohler cover and etc., etc. until I showed her PROOF!!! (The water wasn't going down so I turned on my incinerator and it exploded. I grabbed a long metal tweezers, videoed it, got all these and more out!). Then, she said, Yes, it's true, that what I claimed were all true!!! Ha!!! So, what do you think she did with it? She asked me to give her my oven, and she'll buy me a brand new one because her oven is old. I said no that all I wanted was for her to fix the damages her employees did to my belongings. I tried to give her the benefit of a doubt. She said she is frustrated. If she's frustrated, I'm more frustrated more than ever because I see my beautiful sink damage every single day! Did she care? She pretends to be and the cover for my bathroom sink, her sister just painted it black. PAINTED IT! Really?!?!? It's Kohler! (Her worker scrubbed it too hard, the black plated came off!!) Beware hiring Fanny's cleaning services! Watch out! Don't be fooled by her pretense, some hanky panky, hocus-pocus employees job. I told her I wasn't born yesterday and knows how to clean (but just don't have time). I told her to train her employees better before someone start suing them for property damages. Maybe I should be the one to sue them because the damages are not cheap. She only apologized after I showed her proof! Because I caught it! If not, she'll forever deny it. Good riddance. My service was decent. Fanny and her staff are very sweet and were accommodating on the fly when my electricity wasn't turned on yet. They did do a decent job on the window sills. Once I was able to do a thorough walk around, I noticed there was still some spider webs in a couple of different corners of the ceiling. I asked this cleaning company to do a move in clean on a 1600 sqft house. The house needed a good clean, it's an older house, but not a wreck. The quote was $40/hr per person for a Sunday. On the phone we agreed on 3 people. The day of, Fanny shows up with 4 people at 6 am...ok fine if it gets the job done faster then so be it. I come back at 12, after 6 hours with 4 people they barely got through the rooms and were still working on the kitchen. I am told additional hours are needed to clean the blinds, none of which were cleaned. The total damage for 8 hrs of cleaning was $980. YOU READ RIGHT, $980...they do not have a cap. The freakin worst part about it was the walls, blinds and half the floors were still dirty as hell. My god we didn't even have furniture in there and the floors were STILL dirty after Fannys 4 person crew "cleaned" it. We ended up cleaning much of it ourselves afterwards and hired another cleaning service a few weeks later for a re-clean. The reclean included walls, blinds, furniture, full kitchen. 8 hr clean for $250. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FANNYS CLEANING SERVICE. The only thing they cleaned out well was my wallet. If you REALLY REALLY need to use them because you have no choice, I would recommend babysitting them and watching their every move the entire time to make sure they are cleaning efficiently. read more

I agree with some of the previous comments about the cleaners taking a very long time to clean in general. My house also gets professionally cleaned monthly and is not even close to untidy or dirty. It was odd that I told the owner a certain number of hours and confirmed with the cleaner when they arrived, but somehow they always went over without asking for permission. In addition, the owner (Fanny) does not respond to texts or calls - so if you are looking for someone who is good at communication, i would not recommend. Lastly, I know their yelp page says Alhambra. However, Fanny straight up said to me that she would not be able to work with me anymore because she does not have enough workers in the area. So I suppose if you are in the SGV area, don't bother reaching out to them because they don't seem to have cleaners in this area. read more

They did an amazing job! I had recently bought a house with a back house. And the back house was horrendous. We thought we had to remodel everything esp the bathroom. I hired Fanny's Housekeeping Agency with skepticism if they can salvage the back house. The day came, they were on time and started right away. I came in and out the house to see the progress. They tirelessly cleaned the back house from top to bottom. It took them several hours and at the end the place looks clean as can be. All the mold and grease from the kitchen and bathroom were gone. Argh I'm not a big fan of leaving bad reviews, but this is warranted. BUYER BEWARE. I was referred by a friend to Fanny's services because my old cleaner is retiring soon. Fanny and her cleaner (Mariam) came over to do a walk-through of my place. Fanny and I confirmed on multiple occasions that it would take 3 hours to clean the 4 rooms. Fanny leaves and lets the cleaner do her thing while I work remotely in my home office. I noticed that it took the cleaner 1.5 hours to clean one bathroom. Please noted that we have our space cleaned monthly and this was NOT a deep clean. At the tailed of the time, Fanny calls me and ask if I wanted to add more time. I take a look around and I notice that only two out of the four rooms were not cleaned yet. I tell Fanny that the agreement was 4 rooms in 3 hours. Fanny basically starts to go on a rant and tell me that my space is too big and that I'm being unreasonable. It was very unprofessional. Please note that the cleaner Mariam was SWEET the entire time. She was doing her best but worked a little slower than all of the other cleaners we used in the past. I tried to work with Fanny to figure out a fair solution and compromise, but she ranted at me the whole time. It was quite uncomfortable. Fanny invoices me the full cost with only 60% of the work done. At this point, I was annoyed and felt it was fair to pay 60% of the invoice for 60% of work completed. However, the real loss would been to the cleaner, Mariam. She was diligent and honest, but Fanny as the business owner was AWFUL to work with. In the end, I paid the full amount to support Mariam. I caution all those who choose to work with Fanny. I hope she treats her cleaners better than she treats her clients. read more

I really hate giving them 3 stars considering they had such great reviews but I'm a little disappointed. I have had previous cleaners before but they were out of town so I hired Fanny's Housekeeping after seeing their amazing reviews. I asked for the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and the floor to be mopped and cleaned in the dining room. After they said they were done, I checked and it looked great. However, I didn't do a thorough check. I just scanned the rooms and from the outside it does look clean. But it's the little things. They did not put everything back where they were. I understand they need to move things to clean But they just left it like that and left appliances unplugged. All my trash cans that were lined with trash bags were emptied but they didn't put new bags in. I get maybe they probably didn't know where they were but they could ask. All of our stove tops have foil on them to keep from food getting in but if they were all removed. I would've felt it would have been more appropriate if they had asked as they should remove the foil or keep it as is as they are an inconvenience to replace. I called Fanny myself to explain the situation and she was empathetic and apologized. She said they are not machines, they are human too. Which of course I understand but for the amount of money I paid I expected a more thorough cleaning considering my old cleaner did it for half the amount with just one person. She did explain that they leave the trash cans empty after cleaning so they can air dry however I ended my all with her, I saw one of the trash cans filled with things that were around it to be moved so they can clean around it. Once again, it would've been nice if they put everything back. I researched and reached out to inquire for post construction cleaning for a new home my hubby and I purchased. My husband and I were 70% moved in and had to have a livable home even though we were still going through the tail end of construction. Fanny returned my call and explained her services and rates to me. She was communicative and clear on what to expect and the service details. She had a team of 2 ladies who came for my post construction cleaning service for 3 hours. They arrived early, were masked up and respectful and had all her supplies with her. The cleaning ladies wasted no time. We did a quick walk through of the house and I pointed out the specifics needs. They immediately took their supplies upstairs and started cleaning. They used rags and their hands and not just dusters to shift the dusts around. The post construction fine dust was my main concern and that was was cleaned up and the windows and sliding glass doors were spotless. We hired Fanny's service for post construction cleaning, we renovated and gutted our houses from all walls, and it was such a dusty mess after the job was done, i wanted to clean on my own but my back was hurting so decide to hire some help. It was clearly the best money I have ever spent, Maricela and helper came as a two person crew at 9am and cleaned non-stopped for 8 hours! Except for a 15 min break. They dusted every surface possible, microfiber mops ceilings walls, bathrooms, cleaned the floors with soap and water, cleaned inside our new kitchen cabinets, windows inside and out, window screens, the whole enchilada! The house was immaculate after they were done at 5pm, it was such a relief to see our house finally ready for occupancy. My condo was cleaned in 4.5 hours. It was pretty clean for the majority of the home. And it was easy communicating with Fanny. But the paint on my stove panel was peeled off when they were trying so hard cleaning the grease. Fanny and her family came trying to solve the problem and did repaint the panel. But it is hard to recover what the stove was before. I know they tried their best already trying to fix the problem, but I would not hire them again. I booked A lady, Mariam, for 3 hours. Mariam took 1 hour to clean one bathroom. One hour to clean the other bathroom, and didn't finish the kitchen. Mariam would scrub one spot for like 15 min. She lagged and when the 3 hours were up, she asked if I wanted to continue. No thank you, I ended up doing the rest myself. The bathrooms were clean but took too long. Not happy about the service I received from this Agency. My husband had booked the appointment to have 1 cleaning person here, the lady brought 2 without our consent. She stated the house will be ready in 2 hours, when the 2 hour mark came the lady that was cleaning wasn't even done with 1 out of the 2 bathrooms we have and the gentleman that came with her wasn't even done cleaning the windows (he cleaned 6 windows in 2 hours) Keep in mind our house is not huge, it's a smaller size and the house is always maintained clean so there wasn't much to even clean. The lady came to me and asked should I continue working and I said well of course you haven't finished anything. At the 2 hour mark the floors were not swept, not mopped, the kitchen counter was not even wiped down, the fans were not dusted off PRETTY MUCH NOTHING WAS DONE! So obviously I said well yea finish up the work that we have requested. I honestly feel like they took their sweet time to finish everything, and at the end I still found fans that were dirty, I mean I wonder what they did in 2 hours because it seems like it was nothing. I feel like they took advantage of my time and money, my husband had also requested ONLY ONE PERSON AND TWO CAME without me approving it. The lady that dropped off the people just said okay they are here to clean, I was actually charged for both people which I felt like I was taken advantage of. The lady then tried to argue with me, she was rude! Told my husband if he knows how to do basic math because the prices that they had discussed were completely different, and told me if I was capable of even making my own decisions. I am very unsatisfied and will never book these people again, they take their sweet time and take advantage of your money and time. It is not easy to find a trusted and professional group of people. First off, Fanny was very responsive to all my calls and text. She also confirmed my dates and times. She was so patient, answering all my questions, and came over the first time to see my house. She made sure the team knew my priorities. I also feel better knowing that the business is licensed and insured, so the workers are protected. It is also nice to see that she treats her employees well and cares for them like family! Fanny and her team are wonderful! They pay attention to all the details and listen to my concerns for each cleaning session. They also bring their own supplies, so you don't have to worry about them using your things. The first time, I wanted all my lights and fans cleaned, but wanted to focus more on the kitchen and floors the next time. They made sure to get to what was most important for me. Since I stayed with them the entire time, I could see that they are working very hard for the whole 3 hours, which is what I needed. I also wanted eco-friendly products, because I have children at home, and she was very open with sharing all the products that she used. When she wanted to use a different product, she would explain why and ask if I was ok with it. They were also careful with everything around my house. Some of the paint came off my light (I know it is old), but she explained what happened even though I did not mention it. They respected the home and my family, even taking off their shoes without me asking (they noticed that we do not wear shoes into the home). Ultimately, I would give Fanny my highest recommendation because of her professionalism and honesty. When I try to find help, it is most important for me to be able to trust the people working. The customer service was awesome and appreciated! Pricing is reasonable for the area. Overall, Fanny has been kind, efficient, and has a very hard working team! Everything was great. My suggestion is to advise ahead of time on how much time spent you want on cleaning the stove. It can literally take 3 hours, or more, taking stove apart, removing all of the knobs, etc. I should have said less time, so the kitchen mopping could be finished. Next time, I will.
