We had a wonderful dinner here while we stayed in Guánica. I made reservations and we dressed up for a night out. The staff was very nice. Upon arrival, we were led to our table and I love that the restaurant is an open space with indoor/outdoor vibe. We were seated right near the live music which was nice. The food was very good. I had the snapper with veggies and mofongo. Hubby had the pork tenderloin and enjoyed it very much. Our kiddo had a hot dog and fries. We started with some crispy calamari that was a little chewy and kind of basic. The drinks were great and the energy in the dining area was perfect for our night out. The restaurant is located on a resort and the drive in at night was a little scary as it's very dark with little to no street lights. Slow service, understaffed, overpriced mediocre food. No AC to get a break from the heat.

This is Copamarina Resort's main restaurant. The other is Alexandra, which is fine dining. Las Palmas is more casual. It is open with a nice view of the ocean during the day. There is a full bar with a TV that always has a game on, of any sport. If you are lounging at the small pool or the beach you can get pool/beach side service. Although please be patient as they are currently understaffed. That being said, the service was stellar during our stay. The food is fairly standard of a Puerto Rican resort. As for the food, it is your standard Puerto Rican resort restaurant. The pizza and burger are very good, as are the grouper (mero) nuggets. For breakfast they have a buffet. It is nothing fancy, but the food is good. The guy working the buffet was the definition of great service. Overall, if you are staying at the resort you don't really need to leave to get some good food or drinks. Las Palmas gets it done. read more

The ambiance is lovely. Water front in snd outside seating. Service was attentive but I believe understaffed. I had the soup of the " month" which gives the impression that the soup has been lying around for a month- it was served in a cup half the size of a coffee cup. The soup was tasty but not hot and of course the portion size was ridiculous given the $8 price. Regardless of the cost- a soup serving should be a "Soup Serving ". I also had a the grouper with yuca mofongo- it was tasty but also not a warm/ hot dish. The bar drinks are pricey - $18 for a margarita. read more

Open air seating in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous beach view. Nice staff, very slow food service, limited menu. Food is okay but bland and certainly overpriced. Shrimp was not cleaned properly. Stayed at Copamarina over the weekend. We ate here everyday. Service at Las Palmas was always top notch, very friendly. The margarita pizza and the burger were delicious. I would order them again. The chicken sandwich, however, was not that good. Too dry. I also felt the mussels were a bit too salty for my taste. I liked their Copa Sunset cocktail. The beer selection is small but nice. I am a fan of Boquerón and Zurc beers. For breakfast, I only tried the buffet. It was good. Next time, I'd like to try the a la carte options. read more

Part of Costa Marina's hotel, this restaurant offers very good, if a bit limited, options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service was always great, with every person we interacted with being very friendly and attentive. I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a higher rating. Maybe the quality is different during the busy season, but everything was prepared very skillfully, presented beautifully, and with subtle additional flavors and creative flair during the three times that we ate here. Based in other reviews, we got the grouper mofongo which was indeed very tasty. We also got wild caught lobster which tasted fresh at $35/pound. The cocktails were very good, they use some good fruit juice. For dessert, we loved the opera cake with many layers, and the piña colada panda cotta did not disappoint. Pumpkin soup was quite flavorful, if small. The one suggestion we would give is that the piña colada cocktail did not taste like pineapple. read more

The food here is just not good right now. We stayed at this hotel for a week, and since we hadn't rented a car this restaurant was virtually our only option for food. We tried probably 3/4 of the menu, and everything was majorly lacking flavour and either under or over cooked. The seafood also did not taste fresh at all, which was strange considering the sea side location. The service is also pretty slow but honestly we would not have minded if the food was good. On a positive note, everyone was friendly and the seating area does have a beautiful view. read more

So, I stayed there the weekend and the overall service was not too good. Staff needs to be trained in customer service with a few exceptions. However, Luis Tortilla from the Las Palmas Restaurant was the highlight of our stay. He is the definition of customer service. I have been around, and this guy is the only reason we would go back to the hotel hence the restaurant. We only saw him during breakfast, and yes, if you go to dinner the experience is not the same. Omg the place is a nightmare. Expensive, terrible Service And even more Terrible Food. Not only the food is un edible but borderline food poisoning. Pizza at Costco is a delicacy compared to any of the pizzas sold here. The fish is frozen and badly cooked. The salads are soggy, or if you consider a sliver of tomato With an iceberg lettuce leaf a salad feel free to pay $30 for it. The only star I'm offering is for the $9 tiny scoop of ice cream that is said to be "home made". They take advantage at the fact that there is nothing else there. read more

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. Ate breakfast here for three days and just tried dinner. Don't waist your time or money. Waited 45 minutes for an overcooked, over salted pork tenderloin. $24. Couldn't eat it. $5 for steamed veggies. Had to spit out the broccoli. Just plain bad! read more

This restaurant is one of two in the Copa Marina Resort. We loved the location-It's outdoors facing the ocean (there is a grass area between the beach and the restaurant). The bar is small but nice. The breakfast buffet is yummy-the pancakes, french toast, the local oatmeal were so good. For dinner our food was average. The stuffed corn empanadas was the highlight of our meal. We waited a long time for the food because he restaurant was at max capacity. But our waitress was nice and apologetic for the extra time. The Puerto Rican Ice Tea is yummy. Food is very good to excellent. Fresh fish and creative dishes based on traditional Puerto Rican foods. Copamarina guests are somewhat "stuck" at the resort, as other restaurants are far, but I never mind eating at Las Palmas. My only complaint is that service is very slow, as if they are not prepared for a full resort. Even taking into account "island" time (we were there 2 and a half hours). read more

Waitress was very nice, unfortunately service was very slow, it took over an hour to get our food. Ordered the whole red snapper and tostones both were over fried and hard. we also ordered the whole lobster and they failed to include the lobster's claws. The food here is always delicious no matter what time of day. I ate here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and got a different meal each time and the were always amazing. The people are super nice and always willing to help but the only reason I took a star off was because it take forever to get the food and the check.
