Known for their mofongo, we got the La Isla Desecheo ($37), which consisted of Cassava mofongo stuffed with churrasco in a mushrooms, parmesan and bacon sauce. That sauce was delicious, especially when you mixed it with the mofongo. We also got the Pechuga a la Carbonara ($19). This is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and mozzarella, breaded and fried with Carbonara sauce on top. I would compare this to a Chicken Cordon Bleu as it's very similar. Delicious nevertheless. If you're feeling like getting steak, then the Churrasco Z ($33) is for you. This is a Churrasco steak topped with a creamy parmesan cheese sauce, mushrooms, and bacon on top. We had numerous wait staff walk by and cleaned our table. Our original server did stop by and tell us that she do not know what was taking so long. Of course I had to question her on why the couple to my left was served their main even though they arrive 20 to 25 minutes. By the time my warm red snapper fillet in a criollo I have lost my appetite and I was not willing to wait for a redo. So 10 to 15 minutes into finally receiving our main dishes, I was cashing out.. I really hope that management reads this and tries to make whatever corrections are necessary. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not a tourist and both main dishes that we ordered we could've gotten from somewhere else not as costly and just as good if not even better ! I could honestly not consider recommending this establishment to my friends
