Everyone should leave their wedding day feeling like it was the best day ever, and unfortunately that was not my experience. My experience was filled with unfulfilled promises. We told them photography and videography were some of the most important things to us. We were told we would get all of the pictures, video footage from the whole day, and a montage video. We received the pictures and video footage but no montage. When I reached out to complain, they only cut the whole day footage into three minutes and it was nothing like the video we were told we would get. We were told we would get pictures back in 30 days and it took 60. When we did get our pictures back, we had flash drives mailed to us and one of the flash drives was broken to where half of our pictures had gray boxes over it. We also had disappointments in catering. We requested water and pink lemonade which was on our contract, and we only received water and tea. I don't drink tea and we went with no alcohol, so I was really disappointed. We also requested extra fajita meat and no chicken wings and shrimp, but the wings and shrimp were both still served. The DJ also messaged me two days before the wedding that the watergrove said they were not paying him for the whole day like they had told me. I had to reach out to the watergrove and beg for the DJ to be paid for the whole day like I was told. I almost didn't have a DJ for my ceremony, and I am so thankful he reached out to me so I could sort it out. Other disappointments in the wedding included that I had to ask for the table cloths to be ironed (they looked like they had been crumbled in a box for months), the ice machine was broken, they did not put our party favors into bins like they said they would, many guests glasses were taken aware before speeches, we were given no plates for cake cutting (which we paid the $100 fee for and it took a long time for it to be served), it took longer to flip the ceremony space than promised, I had to request for the Photo Booth to be redone, I paid for the day of coordinator and she was gone part of the day and I was left with someone I had never met, and we were told there would be a coffee bar at night and there was not. I emailed The WaterGrove event venue on February 24th, and they offered a discount the next time I book with them. They also said the photographer could redo our wedding video at another location or time, but in our opinion that just wouldn't be special anymore. Please do not use them for your event.

The venue has its own private lot and is very easy to access. As I didn't help plan the event, I don't know what all the venue did vs the family planning the event, but everything was executed without a hitch and was quite nice. The interior of the venue is very posh - tile/marble work, fresh paint on the walls, well maintained grounds, etc, so a great backdrop to host any type of large event.

Hosted our daughter's fifteenth birthday party here last night. We were pleased with the…read moreexperience and the atmosphere, and count the evening as a success. We would definitely consider hosting another event there and would recommend it to others. The facility is well set up and can handle its advertised duties, but the real story is the service provided by the staff. The staff and DJ did a great job of accommodating our party. We brought in outside catering, selected our own music, and spent a long time transforming the facility with a different look and feel. In short, we were particular, and the staff worked very well with us and all the parties involved to make it a success. My daughter and I selected music and I built a slideshow. Chris, the DJ (and either the husband of the owner or co-owner, I didn't ask), did a great job of working the music together to make a great program. We selected some music that wasn't traditional for a teeny-boppy party, and he sequenced it beautifully to engage the entire audience - even the grandparents were dancing! We also changed the program slightly during the event and again he kept up very well. If you are bringing in your own music and slideshow, make sure you follow Chris's directions so that you get the results you are looking for. I brought a few different file types of the slideshow in case there were difficulties playing one on their computer, but there weren't . The food and beverage accommodations are good, although we did not prepare food there, nor did we serve alcoholic beverages. We had dining catered by Gina's restaurant of Clear Lake, and they worked well with the Enchanted Gardens staff. We had a few family members arrive after the dinner was cleared, but the staff reheated and served them food. The service we had included sodas, tea, and water. For an additional fee, they served coffee. About the only drawback is that the facility is a little hard to find. We had a few guests that had difficulty finding the place. There are several factors for this; first is its actual location. It is situated in a strip shopping center that doesn't look like it would accommodate an event facility. Secondly, there is not a sign by the road, so finding the exact entrance in the dark was a little challenging. Third, it appears as though some search engines (including google/yelp) appear to show this near FM 517 even though it is near 146 (some 30 minutes the other direction). We learned of this from some very persistent guests. I hope to submit a request to fix this, but I would highly recommend that you include a map to the facility or directions with your invitation.

After 10 my minutes we ask if there was a spot outside that we could watch without interrupting and she said oh yes. Not sure if she was the event coordinator but she seemed frazzled. The buffet line was a poor set up. There were two entree option that you could chose from but they set it up on each side of the table but only one line. If you wanted water you had to go to the bar and wait in line. Upstairs guest were instructed not to move the table and I can see why. If you lifted the table the legs didn't go with it because they are not attached. Overall it's an okay venue with a dedicated parking lot. If you are looking for a one stop shop then check it out. The ceremony was held outside at 7pm but still super hot .

One of their own employees even told the bride and groom they could end the wedding around 11 PM, but then the "boss lady" tried to claim the contract said the complete opposite... while the employee was literally reading the contract out loud. How do you run a venue and not even know your own rules? Different staff members gave totally different information, and the "main lady" refused to work directly with the couple who PAID them thousands. Instead of fixing their own mess, they acted jumpy and offended because a stressed bride dared to be upset a week before her wedding. And here's the worst part They cancelled her entire wedding less than two weeks before the date and are now refusing to refund the money she paid for the photographer. They take your money, change everything last minute, and then punish you when you respond like any normal person would. No couple deserves this kind of disaster right before their big day. Save yourself the heartbreak and book literally anywhere else!!!!!!!

We signed a contract and were told we needed to pay a $400 deposit upfront, and the remaining $600 would be due on the day of the event. We agreed and paid the deposit. Today (March 18), the owner contacted my mom demanding the remaining balance be paid immediately--about two weeks earlier than what was originally agreed upon. When we politely explained that we were told the balance was due on the event date, she stopped responding and blocked my mom and sister. I attempted to contact her through multiple methods (calls, messages, WhatsApp) but was ignored. When I finally reached her from another phone, I requested a refund since communication had been cut off and the service was no longer being provided. She refused to issue any refund. She later claimed the cancellation was a misunderstanding about a no-alcohol policy, but there was never any intention to break rules--only a simple question was asked. At this point, we are out $400 and left without a venue just two weeks before our event. I'm sharing this so others can be aware and cautious when booking. I don't usually post things like this, but I feel the situation was handled very unprofessionally.
