I wanted to say that I attribute much of my present success to the advanced education I received at this school. They really encourage children to learn at their own rate, accommodating those who learn faster and those who need extra help. Beth Marshall was my teacher for most of my years here, and I know she no longer works there, but I hope they still teach in that style. The way they let the parents and children set the child's own standards for grading, and have the child assemble their own portfolio and present is unique (as far as I know). We kids felt like we had some say in how we were being taught and had more interest in school than I think any kids in public school had. By the time I entered high school at Amador, the only classes that compared at all in quality were the honors and AP classes. Besides the outstanding education I received, I fondly remember the field trips, holidays, PE classes, electives (enrichment), meditation, etc. It was a very stimulating environment and I'm glad I got to experience it. I am giving 4 stars because I don't know if what I experienced as a child is still the norm for VMS now. For any who care to know, I am now pursuing my PhD in Molecular Bio at UCSD. How much is nature vs. nurture, and how much VMS contributed to the "nurture" aspect, I don't...but looking on Facebook at my VMS classmates, I can say that all of them seem to be thriving as well. Really though, it may be because all of their parents are brilliant and therefore have lucrative careers that allow for them to send their children to schools like this. I don't know. Cory is amazing, she is so nice and helpful and explained everything about the school. His teachers are awesome and you can tell they really love and care about the kids that they teach. My son has a nut allergy and asthma and they took the time to talk to us and ask us questions about his condition. The facility is very clean and safe and I feel very comfortable leaving my son there. It's only been one week and he is so happy there that he gets upset when we come to pick him up. Before deciding, I was able to take a tour, which made me feel comfortable right away. The space is clean, welcoming, and well organized. One of my favorite features was the SproutAbout app. It gave me so much peace of mind. I could see where my child was throughout the day, when she napped, what snacks and lunch she had, and even her engagement and playtime with other kids. That level of communication really helped me feel secure knowing she was doing well. The teachers were wonderful, very kind and caring. Miss Kristina stood out in particular; she was happy, joyful, and always willing to answer any questions I had. I also appreciated the hours, which worked perfectly with our work schedule, and the convenient location. Security was solid, and I loved that my daughter had plenty of indoor and outdoor playtime. Overall, we had a great experience and were very happy with the school. We have been so pleased since our child began attending Bright Minds. The staff is warm, caring, and kind. A huge shout to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Edith-our child raves about them and it is evident that they care about our child's wellbeing. Our child enjoys going to school, learns so much, and has made such great connections with the staff and other students. To me, this is so meaningful as we want our child to love learning! Our child is happy and actually wants to go to school. The facility itself is clean, the toys are thoughtfully selected and rotated, the director and owner are kind/caring, there is open and honest communication from staff/teachers/owners/director. They even hold parent/teacher conferences to showcase what our child was working on, areas of growth, and progress. Specifically highlighting our child's strengths in the process. They have had concerts and halloween events which are extremely well thought out and executed, leaving an impression on children and families alike. There is structure and routine in our childs day. Our child knows what to expect and what times things are going to happen. Our child (as do many preschoolers) really thrives with this routine and structure in place. The class and environment are not hectic or chaotic, the staff has great classroom management. Our family went through some very challenging times and Bright Minds showed up ten fold for our family. Check-ins, asking if we needed anything, and accommodating anything that we needed. For this alone, our family will always be grateful for the staff, owner, and directors at Bright Minds. When we toured the school for the first time, we were impressed with the size of the school & huge play areas outside. The kids all seemed to be so happy in every classroom & teachers were very engaged with all of the kids. I highly encourage any parent that is needing childcare to check this place out. It was an immediate yes for us and now that we've been here since May, we are so happy that our girls come here & are so loved by their teachers. Robyn helped us potty train her easily and it's been such a loving nurturing environment. LPS staff has been our second family. The teachers are the reason why we chose to bring her here. Teacher Serena deserves a special acknowledgement as she navigated online distance learning in 2020. It was a tough year when she started kindergarten but LPS did an amazing job providing a nurturing and navigating through all the complexities due to COVID. I can't thank them all enough for everything they've done. We also have two little girls both in LPS in teach Sara's class and with Teacher Kathy and Becky! Our girls LOVE LPS. The staff has been there for 20+ years and even teacher Evelyn who retired comes back every now and then to help out when needed. She does this because she loves the kiddos. Robyn is now the Director which is fantastic she's been a teacher for many years and has always communicated effortlessly. Our kids love all the teachers but they absolutely adore teacher Stacey. They talk about her all the time and even ask for play dates and sleepovers with her, that's awesome!!! We are so happy with this preschool and blessed to call it our kiddos second home/family

Back then, he was my only child so I was extremely nervous bringing him to a new place. I chose this place after visiting several Livermore preschool facilities and felt that Kindercare stood out the most. Its very organized and clean and the teachers there were wondeful. My son was there 2 years and had Mrs. J and Mrs Lara and Mrs Kimberly. They were so sweet to him and everyday I dropped him off in the morning he would run inside all excited to see everyone. That right there meant more than anything to me. To see my child happy and excited to learn is such a positive way to start off the day. They also cooked healthy meals and had the menu posted of what they were serving. During summertime they had special activities which he LOVED. They ONLY thing my son would complain about is the nap time...he said it was too long and very boring. He is now almost 6 and he started kindergarden so we took him out of Kindercare. I plan on taking my daughter here when she turns 3. I think 3 is the perfect age to start them into this type of program. They do offer infant and toddler programs but I prefer a home babysitter for now. Other pluses about Kindercare - They are open 6am-6:30pm and they hardly every close during the year (only on main holidays) Unlike home babysitters where they tend to take more time off during the year, you can rely on kindercare to be open on those simple holidays that you have to still go into work. When it comes to portrait day, they always have really cute backgrounds for the kids to pose in and you can pick the ones you like best.
