Food was excellent. Service was amazing. The ambiance was perfect. We had a party of 15 for my son's birthday. And we didn't feel crowded or rushed. Don't be fooled by an unassuming exterior, it is very cute inside and the food is excellent. You know it is real when you have tripe and tongue on the menu. They also bring you 4 different kinds of salsa with your meal. Very delicious and the coffee is great too. read more

The food was soooo delicious! We had Huevos Rancheros with 1 enchilada and a pancake. The pancake was fluffy and perfect. The salsa was amazing. Great experience! Too bad it's not closer to Austin. read more

Service was very friendly!! So authentic and flavorful, tortillas were homemade and very good. We had Carne Guisada and potato and chorizo breakfast tacos. We got large but they were huge!! Definitely lots of food. Definitely will come back. read more

Menudo had no oregano but had hominy!?! Tradicional menudo Norteña doesn't have hominy. It didn't taste fresh either. And came warm not hot. Service was good. Place was big. And had a lot of seating. Parking was in front and in back. read more

I have tried this place three times I believe and have thorougly enjoyed each dish I have ordered. First time I got entomatadas and I love how they used queso fresco instead of that yellow Wisconsin cheese. Second time I wasn't too hungry after a large breakfast so only got tostadas and felt it was perfect serving. The third time I think I got a torta with refried beans and avocado no meat and it hit spot as well. Service was good each time sometimes if the place is full may have to wait a bit. I had the two Gorditas plate. It was really good. The plate had more food than I could eat so I got a to go box. The price of the meal was very affordable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. How does this place only have 3 reviews? Let's make it cuarto (four). I was sold on this place when I saw a picture of their tortillas. The tortillas were as authentic as it gets. Trust me, I spend a quarter of the year in Mexico. I only had an appetizer of the chori queso and a beef taco à la carte (single serving). The beef was juicy and succulent. I ended up taking a leftover tortilla to soak up all the juices. Don't judge me! And don't worry I'm getting to the queso. Patience. The queso was mi favorito. You could stretch it like an accordion. There's nothing like queso and a warm flour tortilla. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. read more

Was driven here by the pictures of homemade corn tortillas, but let me tell you! They even had flour tortillas-HOMEMADE! They were amazing, I had the tripa plate and everything was delicious. The atmosphere when you walk into the restaurant feels like walking into Grandma's house. A great family environment run by all women. My table was greeted by our waitress within 2 minutes of sitting down. Our orders were placed and arrived in 15 minutes which was the perfect time to enjoy our coffee which included plenty of refills. The food was an amazing compliment to the top-notch service.
