I stopped by with the mission of grabbing lunch, doing a little retail therapy (because somehow I always "accidentally" find something I need), and letting my little one burn off some energy at the indoor play area. Talk about a win-win! While the tiny human was busy making new best friends for five minutes, I got to enjoy the rare luxury of sitting down without hearing, "Mom, watch this!" every 12 seconds. This mall is always clean, spacious, and has a great variety of stores, whether you're shopping for clothes, gifts, or just browsing to justify getting your daily steps in. There are plenty of dining options too, so it's easy to turn a quick stop into a fun afternoon. One of my favorite things is that it's family-friendly. The indoor play area is such a lifesaver during Arizona's triple-digit weather. Instead of melting outside, the kids can play in the air conditioning while parents get a tiny moment to recharge. Overall, Chandler Fashion Center is one of my favorite malls in the Valley. Whether you're shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just looking for an easy family outing, this place checks all the boxes. Just be warned... you might walk in for lunch and leave with shopping bags you definitely didn't plan on buying. That's just part of the Chandler Mall experience!

I was talking to one of the managers at a store I was in and she said the mall turns its AC off from 9pm-9am. So by the time the mall opens, it's sweltering inside and takes all day to cool off. I think this might be a new policy or something they started this summer. I don't come very often but it's always usually really nice / borderline chilly inside. Was there around 12-130pm. Stay hydrated everyone; it's easy to underestimate the heat!

The only issue I have with the stores in general is the very small aisle room which leaves customers trying to shimmy around each other or dodging each other while also trying not to bump into anything fragile in the process. I was and am generally always happy with the prices as well, they're reasonable and much less than other stores. The cashier was nice and engaging during the checkout process which made the experience nice right before leaving.

The prices are great and they usually have markdowns and discounts on top of that. This store is similar to a Ross, but much more organized, with a more casual feel. The dressing room doors were wide open when I went in and I didn't see the sign on the inside of the door until I had already undressed. Employee rapped on the door to ask how many items I had. I told her a dozen, she said only 6! and asked me to give her the ones I didn't want. So on the spot, I re-dressed to open the door and hand her items. Later, I was on the other side of the store when she yelled MAM, are these your clothes in the dressing room? They weren't. I had mine in a cart or had hung any leftovers on the return rack. When I went back to the dressing room a 2nd time, she told me to put my cart in a certain spot, then she moved it further after I went in the dressing room! When I checked out at the register, she approached the counter and turned attendants attention to her, as a result he had his back to me and carried on a conversation about items left on the back shelf ; a yellow ticket and employee purchase. I stood there waiting for him to continue ringing up my items and then as it turned out, he forgot to ring up my 2 pairs of shoes after I had already paid and needed to do another transaction, (because he had been distracted). When I left she called out, Bye mam, thanks for coming in, have a nice day! I just felt harassed by this employee. I spent $200 there today but I won't shop there again if I see that she's on duty.
