Best meal we had on our 10-day trip around Spain. Don't leave without trying the bone marrow!!!

Very glad we did a little research around the area we were staying. We ended up choosing this place because it seemed more of a local formal dinner, which is what we were looking for. We ended up having a delicious and extremely filling dinner of razor clams, truffle tortilla, steak and delicious pork. It was an unbelievable meal as everything was cooked to perfection. The waiter was able to recommend a good affordable wine to go with our dinner and the entire experience couldn't have been better.

Amazing food! You have to try the crispy octopus. Came here twice during my visit and it was amazing both times!

This was truly a fantastic experience! The service was outstanding the food flawless, and the venue was pleasant for casual, dating, family, whatever. We had grilled octopus, truffled tortilla, duck, steak, and a dessert. Let me start off by saying I obviously don't speak very good Spanish. No worries, the waiter was very helpful and not shy to recommend some of his favorites. All of the food was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and to put it simply - it was awesome! Do not hesitate on this one, you will not be disappointed. If I had to pick a favorite dish, I simply cannot. Each one was a masterpiece. Each one flavorful and fresh. Enjoy!

I spotted this on Yelp when looking for somewhere to eat near the Museo Sorolla and got EXTREMELY excited at the prospect of a merging of tortilla and truffle, two of my favourite things. I arrived soon after opening and got a good spot overlooking the restaurant. In fact I think there is at least one other room but am not sure overall how big it is. I managed to get a seat without a problem on a weekday lunchtime but I think booking would be advisable for evenings and weekends. They have an online reservation system (although not for solo diners!). I ordered a mushroom croquette and foie pastry to start both of which were just incredibly delicious. I kept taking tiny alternate bites of each deciding which one was most delicious, but it was very close. Best to order both. I was almost going to order a traditional tortilla as didn't want to miss out on the potatoes and get something too rich but in fact the truffle tortilla does contain gooey perfect potatoes and the truffle is not too heavy. A really enjoyable dish I would not hesitate to recommend. Do note that they charge you €1.50 for bread even if you do not eat it, I tipped less than usual as a consequence but that was not to criticise the service - the staff were all really lovely and took good care of me. Although prices are quite high for the main courses which would follow a tortilla in the evening, for lunch I thought it was good value for the quality and elegant environment. Am very keen to return to try the torta de queso tortilla!

We ordered a salad which was a very unique dining experience because it came in a pot with scissors. You cut pieces off and topped it with chicken and egg plant it was honestly really cool. Next we had a Spanish pancake which was ok I personally wasn't crazy about it but it was good nothing crazy though. We followed this up with the croquets which were small but very tasty filled with ham and cheese. We then had the Potito or Baby Jar. It's egg mixed with truffle and garlic in a small jar. It was one of my favorites so much flavor in this dish. It went really well with the bread they serve. The duck racks were also very good nice amount of different flavors from all the assortment of toppings they bring you. The last tapa we had was the star of the show. The flaming steak was amazing m. The perfectly cooked steak was seasoned to perfection and they literally brought a fire to your table when they cooked it. I was in love with this dish and would definitely recommend it as a must have. For desert the last thing we had was the crema de queso. Definitely an interesting take on desert. This place is amazing one of the best dinner experiences I have had. Thank you Anthony Bourdain!!! Pro tip: this place is kind of hard to find. It's immediately next to a restaurant with a black cat on its front door.

The restaurant was not extremely packed, but it was lively. It took a minute to find someone to seat us, and once we were seated our waiter told us we had about 10 minutes to order before the kitchen closed, although they advertised being open until 2am. We kept wondering why everyone was looking out at our table from the kitchen but no wait staff came over until finally we realized there was a buzzer on our table that we could use to summon the wait staff, get our check etx. When the waitress came over she was friendly and assured us we had enough time to order what we wanted from the kitchen. She also tried to speak English as best she could to explain what the dishes were. We ordered some typical tapas - Ravioli Burrata, Chicken Wings, Croquetas, Gyoza of Ropa Vieja, and Duck Tacos. The tacos were flavorful and the Gyozas were delicious. The other tapas were just ok, didn't stand out any more than others. I did not like the texture of the Ravioli and it is a cold dish so seemed bland to me. I thought the food was good overall, but it did seem a little pricey.
