Congrats to our Las Vegas Aces!
    Renee N.

I really have to thank fellow Yelper and friend Terri C. for turning me onto our Las Vegas Aces. She was kind enough on several occasions to share tickets with me. I also had the pleasure of meeting one of our retired Aces Carolyn Sword. I now can proudly say I am a season ticket holder for this incredible team. The WNBA is fast growing and my city acquiring a team has been so exciting. Last year was a phenomenal year when we won the WNBA Championship 2022! It was the FIRST Professional team to win a championship for our city and YASSS it was the ladies that paved the way! Here we are back again hopefully for a repeat! Thanks to our incredible coach Becky Hammond, she has turned this team into a well oiled machine. Who is my favorite player? I love them all equally. Each player has their own hidden talents and the games are so much fun. They have giveaway nights, halftime entertainment and the vibe of the people who are fans really show their love and support at each game. If you are lucky enough to have a WNBA team in your city, be sure to support them. I can't wait to see what our LV Aces do this year but I will be at every home game and maybe an OOT game too.

CONS - let me get these out of the way. Miss 2 get a slice - BS! So the other team Missed 2 free throws, the announcer repeated that we get a slice of pizza and was told we needed a voucher. The whole game and after, no voucher passed out anywhere. You should honor what you say. Parking - trying to get into Mandalay Bay self parking took us 45mins. Plenty of parking inside but with the traffic light outside and all those directing and taking our $15, could have been better coordinated to get patrons into the area faster. When you're into the arena, all went fast and smooth - security check, ticket check and even getting to our seats. Lots of ppl but able to maneuver around easily. Good game. Aces lost by 1 in OT. Wished they won but good nonstop entertainment during the whole game. Ticket prices were decent.

Nevada's very first professional championship team! The Aces are so much fun to watch, and are so talented! The games are high energy and the tickets are way cheap: $16 a ticket for second tier. The only $16 will buy you at Allegiant or at T-Mobile is a cap-less bottle of water. Yes, at TM, they remove the water bottle caps so the fans don't chuck the tops at the refs.

First timers and had a great time! If you're looking for a cool venue and high energy come see these ladies hustle. Tickets are very reasonably priced, and there were plenty of seats left. I had no idea the Las Vegas Aces were #2 in the Western Conference and the Connecticut Sun was #1. BIG WIN for the Las Vegas Aces 89 to 81. Entering Mandalay Bay they have everything clearly defined on where to go. Parking was seamless, and the security lines were not horrible as they are at concerts. They handed out Las Vegas Aces license plate frames and had plenty of team swag for sale. Beverages were typical $15-$20 a cocktail (double) and the Doritos Walking Taco with white queso, taco beef and jalapeno's hit the spot while we watched the game. During the game they dropped Terrible Herbst free car washes with the parachute drop and also threw out Aces t-shirts. Now that we have seen Liz Cambage, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Jisu Park and many others play, the wife wants to rep an Aces jersey. Great time for all ages, they even did a Lion King cam where you held your child up like Simba. Buckets the bunny is a good mascot that gets the crowd lively. For halftime they had the guitarist from the Michael Jackson One show come out and perform with some dancers, very cool.

Game 1, Season 2, 5.26.19, Aces vs LA Sparks. We won 83-70

The second season for our WNBA team just began and we are all in! My husband and I have been fans since last year and this year we are season ticket holders. The Aces' home court is located at Mandalay Bay Events Center and tickets are quite affordable compared to tickets for our professional hockey team--prices start at just under $30. The Aces are favored to win the 2019 championship with a talented team led by Head Coach Bill Laimbeer. It's not too late to jump on the bandwagon and get yourself to a game for exciting basketball action this summer--maybe we'll see you there!

I got a chance to go to see the Aces when a friend had to work because the game was scheduled during the day. The Aces proved to me that it wasn't that I don't like basketball. It's just that I didn't like basketball when I was thew "cop on the beat" as principal during our high school basketball games. We got there about an hour before the game--enough time to visit the fan zone and get a soft pretzel before the game began. The game is fast and these ladies are good. They play four 10 minute periods and they seem to go by so quickly. The game lasts about 2 hours. Located at the Events Center at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, there is plenty of parking and it's not too long of a walk to the Events Center. Screening went quickly and we were in the arena in no time at all. I think I need to go and see another game. This was enjoyable!

Aces vs. Storm Opening Home Game Action
    Dennis T.

The Las Vegas Aces just completed the team's first home game opener in Las Vegas against the Seattle Storm in the Mandalay Bay Events Center, and, although narrowly losing 105-98, showed great promise for an exciting season. The Aces led in the beginning of the game, and were surging back at the end. First draft pick center A'ja Wilson and forward Nia Coffey led the Aces with 27 and 23 points, with able assistance from teammate Kayla McBride, who scored 21; while Storm forward Breanna Stewart scored 23 points in spearheading her quick-passing team to victory. Some City of Entertainment magic was drawn upon to delight fans, including Boyz II Men singing a unique harmonized version of the National Anthem, and the Jabbawockeez dancing in synchronization on court during the break between the second and third quarters. It should be a good, memorable season!

This was the first time being back in the Aces House since covid and it was great! I've missed being able to see the games in person. Only thing is you have to register on the Clear app before going to the game. Definitely didn't like submitting my I.D and having my picture taken just to see the game. Other than that the game was great. As of right now they're only allowing season ticket holders to the games. Every party had a row to themselves, so really spaced out which I appreciated. I can't wait to go back on Sunday!

First year of the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team exposed a lot of people to women's basketball. The games are played in the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The game is fast paced with a shorter shot clock than the NBA counterpart. Just like any other pro sport these days, there are plenty of things going on between the game play, and music etc. All very exciting and fun to watch. The concessions were reasonably priced. However the wait times were crazy. Spent all of the 3rd quarter waiting online for food. You also need to make sure which food line you get into. Each stand had different food available. It's a good time, and some exciting basketball!

Las Vegas Aces If you don't know by now, the Aces are here. It's time to support our ladies, with a rhyme and a cheer. To some teams out there, a chip is a dream. I believe we can get one, with our talented team. We are stacked with players, a favorite to win. Time to double down, because our team's all in. We're coached by Laimbeer, first name Bill. Watching him lead, is always a thrill. You should go to a game, why don't you come? We have lethal scorers, like McBride and Plum. Jackie is quick, can score at anytime. We also have Syd, who can drop the dime. Hamby's our spark, in case you didn't know. Ty has some swagger, she's the ultimate pro. Sugar has range, swish no clank. She can shoot it deep, and even call bank. As for the bigs, yes, they can score. They lead our defense, and do a lot more. A'ja is an all-star, again this year. Liz is so dominant, you can see the fear. The fear teams have, when they're in the middle. Keeping our bigs contained, is always a riddle. Carolyn is a favorite, she's also a friend. She makes the right plays, from the start to the end. Then you have Park, who is strong at the post. Compared to the rest of the league, she's better than most. So if you're not convinced, what wrong with you, son? Time to watch a game, and hear "Another One!" I'm more than a fan, We have tickets for the season. You should come to a game, and here's my reason: Tickets are cheap, now that you should know. The games are entertaining, it's always a show. The games are fun, so stop your delaying. We have the best fans in this league, I am just saying. Where do I want to be right now? Can't think of many places. I rather be at Mandalay, to support our Aces.

After going to our first game, and after so many years of finally getting a hockey team in Vegas…read more We finally made it to one of the games. Surprisingly, I promised my better half that we were eventually going to one the games. To kick off Christmas and winter break, I got lucky scoring seats for two as a Christmas gift for my better half and I in section 1 row N. Thank you to third party seats, and the best first time experience. We got to the game a few minutes before and although getting to the game was a pain, the seats, the people and the atmosphere was better than any other game that I have been to so far. Luckily we were able to park at one of the MGM properties and walked right on over. Getting in was a breeze and finding our seats were easy as the stadium had staff all over to guide to make it easier for everyone. As soon as we found our seats were were both amazed to see how close we were and to be lucky enough to score these tickets. Since it was the holiday special we were even lucky to be around those hardcore fans. Being around the people, the staff, and seeing how they went all out for the kiddos made the night one of the most memorable in the books. Best part of actually being a a huge fan of the Knights, you can even score tickets if you are student. They do so much and I love the fact they always celebrate something every month. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But a video also shows just as much. Looking forward to more games. If you are in town, you got to one of these games. Who would have known that I would become a fan besides watching it on tv.

I'm not sure how I feel about giving it three stars but that's what I'm going to give it. I think…read moresince I understood how it worked it was easy to follow. If you don't understand how a bout works you may have a little trouble. What I liked about it was the enthusiasm from the crowd and a couple of times the rowdiness of the skaters. There was a lot of lulls and not a lot of action so that makes it hard to want to pay attention to. What I didn't like was it was kind of hard to see especially if you were sitting down in the rows of chairs...so I actually chose to sit on the floor right in front of the rink which I wasn't crazy about. They play music the whole time which is cool but then the announcers try to talk and give you updates on the game and it's really hard to hear or understand what's actually being said. They serve beer drinks and even snacks but my suggestion is eat or get drunk before you go because they charge an arm and a leg inside the ballroom. You can't bring outside food or drinks in so if you go to the casino you can get a beer for two dollars Or stay in the ballroom and pay 7 to 10. It's not rocket science. I'll have to say it is fun to meet up with some friends hang out laugh and talk while watching something sort out on the side. It was their last bout at the Riviera as we all know it's going to be torn down so that was kind of cool in a little nostalgic. Hopefully the skaters will find a new venue to continue their tradition.

If you were ever lucky enough to catch RollerGames (1989-1990) on late night TV (as I did as a preteen), you know exactly what this game is all about and you can easily get hooked! On Saturday, April 25th, the Husband and I experienced our first real live roller derby match at the Las Vegas Roller Hockey Rink. It's located in the corner of the Commercial Center and can easily be missed, but it's there! Doors opened at 7 pm and the bout begins at 8 pm. You can choose to sit inside the rink on folding chairs, along the side on the floor, or safely behind the glass. Seats are up close and personal and they do promise the possibility of having a rollergirl in your lap! After the game, you can get autographs from your favorite players too! (There's a snack bar available too.) If you don't understand the game, they give out a handy little program with all the details, but the MC will also explain the game as it goes on. There's even a mini duel right at the beginning to give you a visual of what's about to happen. That evening, they played against the Arizona Roller Derby Tent City Terrors. Sure, we lost but it was a very exciting game and you never really knew who was going to win! Advanced tickets are $7 (although we tried purchasing such tickets the night before, but no luck), and $10 at the door. Kids under 10 and EMTs are free! This is definitely an athletic and family-friendly event, although a few of the players' names may be a bit suggestive. It looks like they have two local teams - The Notorious VIPs and the Tommy Gun Terrors. But when they play against another city, they combine into the Sin City Rollergirls. (Correct me if I'm wrong please!) The team colors of the Sin City Rollergirls are orange and black. We're definitely looking forward to catching at least one more game before their season ends!

Well once they decided to go,they extended the invite to myself & his grandmother, who is my 73 year old mother. Well this was going to be my mother's 1st UFC event,so to say she was beyond excited is a massive understatement. We secured tickets thru our membership to UFC Fight Club-which gives members presale access to all live UFC events. We arrived in Vegas on Saturday morning and after dropping off the bags and grabbing a quick bite we headed off to T-Mobile for UFC 326. I love how T-Mobile handles security for these events as you don't have to empty your pockets, you just walk thru and it scans you and if they see something they stop you, otherwise you just walk right in the stadium. T-Mobile Arena is located on Las Vegas Blvd, tucked off the street between the New York-New York Casino and the Park MGM Casino.Very easy access for walk ups or drops offs if you are coming from far away. It's a pretty modern stadium-Home of both the WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces and former NHL Champs Vegas Golden Knights. This stadium is for sure built to put on larger than life events,so I had zero doubt UFC 326 would go off without a hitch. My seats for this event were the last row at the very top of the stadium,so I can now truly say, there is not a bad seat in the house and the views are amazing from every seat. I'm not a small guy,so arena seating can get tight at times, but I had zero issues with the seats being too crunched together at T-Mobile. I did see two fights break out between fans in the hallways while the event was going on,but both times security swarmed quickly and dissolved the situation before it got out of hand-I don't think my mother even noticed the fights. Drinks and food are typical arena big event Vegas prices, but at least this arena does have every option available but honestly I don't eat or drink too much at sporting events,I think I had a tall can for like $18 or something pretty close to that. Getting out of the stadium was chaotic,at least where we sat due to everyone being funneled to one escalator to service many sections of the stadium-which may have led a bit to the unrest from a few of the overly emotional fans who may have been a bit overly excited about the last fight results-but it's UFC-it's kind of expected to have a rowdy fanbase. Once out of the arena-we made our way to many of the neighboring bars and restaurants in the area for a lively Saturday night in Las Vegas. In closing-If you find yourself with an upcoming event,be it a concert,a hockey game,a basketball game or a UFC event,I guarantee this arena will provide you everything needed to have a great time-like my mother who had the time of her life at her 1st UFC event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

This arena has been around for decades and is a staple here in Vegas for seeing so many amazing live shows! In my opinion the best place to catch an award show or concert, too. Very organized on behalf of MGM Grand Garden Arena, staff, and team! However, when it came to trying to find a simple bottle of purified water to drink, you will not find one here. All beverages are Dasani and Coke products. Dasani water is full of chemicals. So for anyone with allergies, probably not the best. Because of that the concession Management was able to accommodate a couple of their behind-the-scenes water complimentary. A huge thank you to their team for getting that for me. Really made a difference in my experience, quenched my thirst, too. Merchandise area was very nicely laid out. There was only one area however, perhaps another table would've been helpful for the large crowd as things were selling out and even the merch team directed people to order the souvenirs on the Amazon Prime website.
