My brother graduated from adult school and they had their ceremony here. When I graduated as well. My ceremony was here too. Thomas & Mack Center is a great place to see a show, sporting event or do an activity. Up until the commencement ceremony I attended this last time I came here, I've only ever been here for the yearly wine event. However, my husband has come here for concerts and other events. There is ample parking here and it's really easy to navigate. There is an escalator at the front entrance if you're not into (or can't) take the stairs. Every time I've been here there's always someone at the top letting people know there is an escalator. I like the flow of the hallways and everything is marked well so you know where you're going. This is really nice for the wine events because you can easily find people if you get separated. One thing I found out is that the chairs here are shockingly comfortable for an older stadium. I'd happily sit through another commencement or watch a show here. read more

I've gone to over a dozen UNLV men's and women's games here and the staff is awesome. They are helpful and polite. The concessions have variety of food and drinks. I personally like the nachos which are a great value. The events are well organized no matter who is in town or what event is performing. The events often have fun games for kids to win prizes. I came here for the first time to attend my niece's high school graduation. I believe there were multiple graduations and we were the last event of the day. When we arrived at the parking lot there were lines of cars leaving and entering. The lines seemed long but their traffic control team was moving the traffic really well. We had a map for the event, but signage for the event scattered through the roads would be better. We had a handicap placard and the team handled it with ease (just make sure it's visible). Handicap spots were limited but we were able to snag a parking spot. From there, we were able to locate where wheelchair guest enter, which was between the escalators. Security checks were quick and efficient and we were the. loaded into an elevator. So, from parking to unloading the elevator, it took at least 5 minutes. It was quick. There's not really any designated wheelchair parking for guest so are able to walk but noticed there were areas for guests who wish to stay in their wheelchairs. A friendly usher found a spot for us to leave our wheelchair for the event. I thought it would be a stressful process but it was effortless. Unfortunately trying to leave was a little different, especially for guest with disabilities. We waited in the arena a little longer for the crowds to dissipate. Guest who were unable to use the stairs/escalators were directed to the one elevator used when we arrived. The line was long but we made it in the second or third round. When we got outside there was a mass crowd and no way to get to our car so we just waited between the escalators. There was no crew members out there to direct guest anywhere. We were separated from the rest of our family for a bit. Again the parking team did a great job getting cars out. That same energy needs to be assisting with directing guest from the arena to their cars. I was thinking it was chaotic because we were the last group and they allowed guests to linger to take photos. We still had a great experience at this venue and we'll probably be back in 4-5 years for my niece's college graduation. Hopefully their guest control for exit is improved by then. read more

Traveled to see Monster Jam. The staff are unorganized and do not care about the attendees. They separated my daughter from me and my husband because she went under the rope in line. They said she had to stand over by the line exit instead of letting her return to us. I understand a rule in place to keep people from cutting in line but separating a child from their family is unacceptable especially when she was in line the entire time. The people behind us and in front of us in line even tried telling staff that our daughter was in line the entire time. So disappointed. My daughter held back tears because the lady came up yelling and pulling her back under the rope. When we spoke to the manager, our concerns were belittled with "I'll talk to my staff. I keep them on a tight leash." read more

My friends and I attended a business conference here last year. The stadium is huge with plenty of options for food and multiple restrooms which I'm grateful for. The staff range from being flexible to strict with what you are able to bring inside. The venue was a great place for the conference and we had a wonderful time. The seats were comfortable and offer some back support. The staff did a good job of keeping the venue clean and organized. The Thomas and Mack Arena has a good view of the strip as well. read more

I had a bit of an issue with a couple tickets and was worried that I was going to have a major issue. What I had was Theresa "terry" tearing up the problem and fixing it with a smile the entire time. If you come by the ticket booth with an issue, find Terry and she will solve it and then thank you for it, what?!? Amazing. read more

My niece had her graduation at Thomas and Mack. It was surprisingly well organized with different schools coming out as we were going in and the next school coming in Alas we were leaving. Security was quick and easy as long as you followed their clear instructions with bag size and contents. There were tables set up and clearly labeled eith gifts, flower, drinks, that were not allowed in or people who didn't want to give graduates the flowers until they were done walking across the stage and to avoid leaving them in cars. read more

I've been coming here for decades, and the operations staff or the team behind holding every event always impresses me with how well they run everything. Every event I've been to, and because the building is so old, I always expect the worse but each experience is always better than expected. Obviously if you rank all the arenas, stadiums, and sporting venue in Las Vegas; the Thomas and Mack might rank last but it's our gem and I'd love to see it fixed up some. read more

Our second year coming to NBA Summer League and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The seats (especially in the Cox Pavilion/practice gym) aren't the most comfortable to be sitting in for almost 10 hours but the big gym is quite nice and it's really cool how close you can get to the action just paying for a GA ticket day pass during the first weekend. Not too much food selection but everything is pretty reasonably priced, especially in comparison to concessions at bigger arenas. Snacked on a chili cheese corn dog for lunch that was quite solid. Rideshare drop off and pick up also very easy in the big parking lot outside the main entrance. Before and after big games + when there's a long line for the autograph table it gets pretty packed in the main concourse but otherwise didn't have to wait too long for anything. First time attending an event at Thomas & Mack, it was a High School Graduation and what an unorganized disaster. They had 2 graduations back to back, after getting to our seats they made us leave and go back outside where it was 100 degrees out. The staff was rude, my elderly mother almost passed out and not one employee cared or offered any support. I commented CCSD needs to find a new venue and an employee replied "We wouldn't mind". Visited the campus for a campus tour. Relatively quieter on a Friday morning with cooler weather. Huge arena, feeling the aura of the early 90s running rebels. Rideshare drop off and pickup is covertly setup at the front of the stadium at the roundabout. read more

While decent enough for a Highschool Graduation the Thomas & Mack Center is far from "state-of-the-art" if guests have been around the country to colleges like The Ohio State University, LSU or even North Dakota. Sure the Rebs achieved unprecedented success here, but 42 years since opening everything including "VIP" Suites feels dated while entry and exit is an absolute mess. read more

We have had season tickets to UNLV men's basketball since 2004, coach Lon Kruger's first year at UNLV (no relation). I loved Lon as a player at Kansas State and as a coach. I believed he would do great as the Rebels' head coach, and he was. Thomas and Mack has a good central location in town. There's more than one entrance to the two large parking lots and the parking garage. And, something especially nice in Vegas, there is no charge for parking for UNLV basketball games! For the UNLV games, there are a number of workers who help direct traffic before and after the game. They make leaving after a game quite easy. From the parking lots, there are three entrances you can take. I believe all three have escalators as well as stairs. The security is good, but it is not overwhelming. Women have to have clear bags and they do search everything. That is the world we live in now. Inside the T&M, the hallways aren't the widest, but they aren't too bad. The womens' bathrooms are larger than the men's. When there's a big crowd, they aren't quite large enough. There are a number of concession stands, I believe they all sell beer. The Nathan hot dogs are actually very good! There are a number of bars that sell mixed drinks and wine. The seats inside the arena aren't too bad. They all have a cup holder which is nice. The video boards on the scoreboard hanging from the middle of the court is good, but not overly impressive. The people who work at T&M overall are very nice. I always have to remember it is mainly a college venue. Prices for food and drink aren't bad, and you do have to pay with a credit card (seemingly the norm these days). In the last ten years, we lived in two other cities with Division 1 basketball teams. Their arenas were not even close to being as nice as the Thomas and Mack. read more

The concessions were limited due to the short notice and tightened security. They did have water, soda Gatorade, candy and chips , the essentials lol. Always fun attending games here. The people are friendly, the facility is nice. The only issue - the parking lot is brutal in the hot months. All that blacktop absorbs the heat and there is no shade for your vehicle anywhere. Its next level heat. If you take Uber, its a long line to leave. Other than the parking, its great. read more

Went to see Disney on Ice ! So much fun. Always easy to park at Thomas & Mack. The stadium always has a sufficient amount of employees to direct traffic into the correct parking areas as well as to after you park direct you into the stadium. Show started at 11am we arrived at 10:30am and parked close to the entrance. Sooo many stairs but there is an escalator up and down, several different vendors to buy merchandise. The first portion of Disney on Ice was Elsa and Anna from Disneys Frozen. All the performers were excellent, we had pretty close seats so the view was perfect for my little. Second half was Encanto this act was cool, because a few performers were hoisted in the air tossing flowers. It was pretty exciting for all the kids!! read more

I'm not too much of a fan here. Nothing wrong with the T&M inside except parking. It's just always the same, a cluster. So many staff directing you here and there. Half of the center plot empty. I'm not sure I understand why I need to park right when I can also go left. Soooo many orange cones everywhere!!! Well regardless, attended a high school graduation. I wish I could give this place 5 stars but I've got to give them 4 stars due to the inconvenience, PIB getting an Uber/Lyft outta this place. WHY is it so hard for them to go to the marked pickup spot???? I've been here a couple of times for Lee's Wine event & with tables being around the walls & all you have to do is go in a circle with a couple coves to dip in its easy to maneuver. This is NOT my favorite location for Lee's though. It's a pain to get to, traffic is busy during these events & this past Sat. the line was horribly long. They have to come up with a better plan. Not sure what they changed this time?? I did go here once for a UNLV game & things were cool. Food & drinks were easy to get & finding our seats were easy. Comfy seats, good view & could hear the game. Plenty of bathrooms as you make your way around too. read more

First time here. We went to see the Lady Rebels play. They played Arizona. It was a nice game. This wasn't one of those nail biting games, but the Last Rebels did their thing and got that W. It was great playing by all. I'd say work on those outside shots and those shots outside of the paint. Looking forward to seeing how the season plays out for them. read more

We come here almost every year for the Mountain West Championship tournament. It's kind of a dated arena but spacious and can accommodate a large crowd. It's also home to the UNLV Rebels. They have plenty of parking and easy walking distance to nearby hotels and restaurants. This year was the most special because our beloved SDSU Aztecs won it all. Aztecs for life! read more

When are they going to tear this ancient venue down? It's horrible. 1 elevator for the public. Escalators that don't work. Access to your seats, if you're on the floor, it's a long way down. I went to the Thomas & Mack center on consecutive days for the Future and Kem concert and it's a nice venue, equipped with big screens, and can accommodate elaborate sets for concerts. The Future concert had four walkways on the stage that extended out to the middle of the floor. The Kem concert had the traditional stage set-up with a live band, musicians, and background vocalists. If you don't mind walking, I recommend parking in the UNLV parking lot for free after hours and making the short walk to the Thomas and Mack Center which I did on both nights. Parking in the Thomas & Mack center cost 20.00 and it can be a nightmare exiting if the concert turnout is large. The Future concert had a huge crowd so I was glad I did not have to deal with the madness of leaving the parking lot. I would return to the Thomas and Mack center. read more

Went to my sons graduation last week and was shocked at what I had to do since I am in a wheel chair. Upon our arrival, we were told by the ushers our family of 7 could not sit together because I was in a wheel chair and while the others could sit in the lower bowl or where ever, I had to go up to the upper level (the rafters) with one other person if we wanted. Completely unacceptable given that there was plenty of seating on the court level with the first rows not filled. Also the big screens used to project the speeches and graduates is hardly visible when up in the rafters. And forget about the mic system...about as bad as the whole experience. Bottom line DO better Thomas and Mack. Completely unacceptable. People with disablities or even elderly people who use wheel chairs or canes or walkers should not be overlooked. read more

Loved it! We had a company function in a circus like atmosphere. This venue has it all. Clean air, lots of open space, great staff and location. The event was enjoyable because the staff went out of their way to keep everything clean and tidy in spite of the number of people moving all around. The bathroom facilities were clean and smelled great. Thumbs up for having paper towels, santizer and soap available. I would recommend this venue for any size function, The parking and the arrangment of the buidlings were very accessible for all age groups and needs. We went to the Stetson-UNLV game on Nov 11, 2023 after pregaming at Double Down, and it was great. Got mid court seats for basically nothing. I won our row free passes for a year to EOS gyms for getting on the flex cam, but I had to give ours away because we're not local. I caught a UNLV t-shirt and almost caught another. Still a very nice arena for being 40 years old, and they sell beer! read more
