After going to our first game, and after so many years of finally getting a hockey team in Vegas…read more We finally made it to one of the games. Surprisingly, I promised my better half that we were eventually going to one the games. To kick off Christmas and winter break, I got lucky scoring seats for two as a Christmas gift for my better half and I in section 1 row N. Thank you to third party seats, and the best first time experience. We got to the game a few minutes before and although getting to the game was a pain, the seats, the people and the atmosphere was better than any other game that I have been to so far. Luckily we were able to park at one of the MGM properties and walked right on over. Getting in was a breeze and finding our seats were easy as the stadium had staff all over to guide to make it easier for everyone. As soon as we found our seats were were both amazed to see how close we were and to be lucky enough to score these tickets. Since it was the holiday special we were even lucky to be around those hardcore fans. Being around the people, the staff, and seeing how they went all out for the kiddos made the night one of the most memorable in the books. Best part of actually being a a huge fan of the Knights, you can even score tickets if you are student. They do so much and I love the fact they always celebrate something every month. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But a video also shows just as much. Looking forward to more games. If you are in town, you got to one of these games. Who would have known that I would become a fan besides watching it on tv.

I really didn't pay attention to times that NHL added expansion teams. I did learn a little when Las Vegas got their team the Golden Knights. It's a great city for hockey and I've hit a lot of framily there. This season may mean a Stanley Cup for the Knights. I'm hoping they give my friend Susan a big send off as she moves away from Las Vegas. I'm watching as much as I am able to keep my eyes open at night. Support your team. I'm recommending. I'm not sure how I feel about giving it three stars but that's what I'm going to give it. I think…read moresince I understood how it worked it was easy to follow. If you don't understand how a bout works you may have a little trouble. What I liked about it was the enthusiasm from the crowd and a couple of times the rowdiness of the skaters. There was a lot of lulls and not a lot of action so that makes it hard to want to pay attention to. What I didn't like was it was kind of hard to see especially if you were sitting down in the rows of chairs...so I actually chose to sit on the floor right in front of the rink which I wasn't crazy about. They play music the whole time which is cool but then the announcers try to talk and give you updates on the game and it's really hard to hear or understand what's actually being said. They serve beer drinks and even snacks but my suggestion is eat or get drunk before you go because they charge an arm and a leg inside the ballroom. You can't bring outside food or drinks in so if you go to the casino you can get a beer for two dollars Or stay in the ballroom and pay 7 to 10. It's not rocket science. I'll have to say it is fun to meet up with some friends hang out laugh and talk while watching something sort out on the side. It was their last bout at the Riviera as we all know it's going to be torn down so that was kind of cool in a little nostalgic. Hopefully the skaters will find a new venue to continue their tradition.

If you were ever lucky enough to catch RollerGames (1989-1990) on late night TV (as I did as a preteen), you know exactly what this game is all about and you can easily get hooked! On Saturday, April 25th, the Husband and I experienced our first real live roller derby match at the Las Vegas Roller Hockey Rink. It's located in the corner of the Commercial Center and can easily be missed, but it's there! Doors opened at 7 pm and the bout begins at 8 pm. You can choose to sit inside the rink on folding chairs, along the side on the floor, or safely behind the glass. Seats are up close and personal and they do promise the possibility of having a rollergirl in your lap! After the game, you can get autographs from your favorite players too! (There's a snack bar available too.) If you don't understand the game, they give out a handy little program with all the details, but the MC will also explain the game as it goes on. There's even a mini duel right at the beginning to give you a visual of what's about to happen. That evening, they played against the Arizona Roller Derby Tent City Terrors. Sure, we lost but it was a very exciting game and you never really knew who was going to win! Advanced tickets are $7 (although we tried purchasing such tickets the night before, but no luck), and $10 at the door. Kids under 10 and EMTs are free! This is definitely an athletic and family-friendly event, although a few of the players' names may be a bit suggestive. It looks like they have two local teams - The Notorious VIPs and the Tommy Gun Terrors. But when they play against another city, they combine into the Sin City Rollergirls. (Correct me if I'm wrong please!) The team colors of the Sin City Rollergirls are orange and black. We're definitely looking forward to catching at least one more game before their season ends!

We walked up to a building with a very futuristic design, the black exterior, massive structure, and the famous glass doors creating a completely different atmosphere from traditional sports venues. Even before entering, the scale of the building made it feel like a major event, and the energy around the stadium was a huge part of the experience, with fans gathering outside, trading merchandise, taking photos, and building excitement before the performance. For the BTS concert specifically, the stadium handled the crowd extremely well. The entry process was organized with plenty of staff directing guests, and despite the large number of attendees, getting inside felt much smoother than expected. We moved through security and ticketing without significant delays, and the layout is easy to navigate, with clear signage and enough space to move around before the show started. Once inside, the concourses felt wide and well designed, and the flow of traffic did not become bottlenecked at any point during the evening. Inside, the production value of the concert matched the scale of the venue. The large screens, lighting setup, sound system, and stage effects worked well with the stadium environment, making the performance feel immersive even from farther seating areas. The sound carried clearly throughout the space, and the visuals were crisp enough to keep the performance engaging from every section. The indoor climate control was also a major advantage, especially compared to outdoor stadium concerts in Las Vegas where heat can become a factor. The temperature inside remained comfortable throughout the night, which made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. The facilities themselves are another highlight. The stadium feels clean, modern, and well maintained, with comfortable seating areas, wide concourses, and plenty of staff available throughout the venue. We found the restrooms well placed and the cleanliness maintained even as the crowd filled in. Food and merchandise lines can get long during major events, but the overall organization helps keep things moving. The merchandise stands were stocked well, and the staff managed the lines efficiently. Allegiant Stadium is a great concert venue, and BTS was a perfect example of what the space can do. The combination of a world-class production, a well-designed stadium, and the energy of a major fan event made the night feel like a full experience rather than just a concert. It is definitely a venue worth visiting even if you are not attending a football game, and the seamless integration of the concert production with the stadium's design made the evening feel cohesive and memorable.

One thing to note is that they are pretty strict with their policies, so make sure to check the venue's website before you go. You'll need a clear bag, and outside drinks aren't allowed, even a sealed bottled water. There was actually a guy handing out free bottled water before the entrance, but most people ended up throwing them away at the gate. There were plenty of food vendors to choose from, and while the merch line was long, that was pretty much expected for a concert this big. The seats were comfortable, and I didn't feel cramped sitting next to other attendees. We also had a great view of the stage. The sound and lighting systems were amazing, and one thing I really appreciated was that the volume was well-balanced. Unlike some concerts that are way too loud, I didn't leave feeling like I couldn't hear afterward. Overall, a fantastic venue and an unforgettable concert experience!

I stayed at Park MGM and was pleasantly surprised that T-Mobile Arena is literally right across the street. No dealing with crazy Uber/Lyft prices, which was a huge win. The timing couldn't have been better it was opening night and their championship ring ceremony. Watching the team receive their 2025 championship rings in person was an incredible experience. The energy in the arena was unmatched! Seeing A'ja Wilson, Jackie Young, and Chelsea Gray play at home was absolutely electric. The arena itself is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you're in Vegas during the WNBA season, I highly recommend catching an Aces game. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Ok so my nephews favorite fighter in the UFC is Charles Oliveira and he was making his comeback…read morefight after a stunning loss in his last fight vs Ilia Topuria to fight Max Holloway in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena at UFC 326. So he is a good kid-does well in school, about to graduate high school,so he asked his dad if he could take him to watch the fight live as a graduation gift. Well once they decided to go,they extended the invite to myself & his grandmother, who is my 73 year old mother. Well this was going to be my mother's 1st UFC event,so to say she was beyond excited is a massive understatement. We secured tickets thru our membership to UFC Fight Club-which gives members presale access to all live UFC events. We arrived in Vegas on Saturday morning and after dropping off the bags and grabbing a quick bite we headed off to T-Mobile for UFC 326. I love how T-Mobile handles security for these events as you don't have to empty your pockets, you just walk thru and it scans you and if they see something they stop you, otherwise you just walk right in the stadium. T-Mobile Arena is located on Las Vegas Blvd, tucked off the street between the New York-New York Casino and the Park MGM Casino.Very easy access for walk ups or drops offs if you are coming from far away. It's a pretty modern stadium-Home of both the WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces and former NHL Champs Vegas Golden Knights. This stadium is for sure built to put on larger than life events,so I had zero doubt UFC 326 would go off without a hitch. My seats for this event were the last row at the very top of the stadium,so I can now truly say, there is not a bad seat in the house and the views are amazing from every seat. I'm not a small guy,so arena seating can get tight at times, but I had zero issues with the seats being too crunched together at T-Mobile. I did see two fights break out between fans in the hallways while the event was going on,but both times security swarmed quickly and dissolved the situation before it got out of hand-I don't think my mother even noticed the fights. Drinks and food are typical arena big event Vegas prices, but at least this arena does have every option available but honestly I don't eat or drink too much at sporting events,I think I had a tall can for like $18 or something pretty close to that. Getting out of the stadium was chaotic,at least where we sat due to everyone being funneled to one escalator to service many sections of the stadium-which may have led a bit to the unrest from a few of the overly emotional fans who may have been a bit overly excited about the last fight results-but it's UFC-it's kind of expected to have a rowdy fanbase. Once out of the arena-we made our way to many of the neighboring bars and restaurants in the area for a lively Saturday night in Las Vegas. In closing-If you find yourself with an upcoming event,be it a concert,a hockey game,a basketball game or a UFC event,I guarantee this arena will provide you everything needed to have a great time-like my mother who had the time of her life at her 1st UFC event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
