This place is a joke. The selection is the only good part. I couldn't tell you about the value since my job is paying for the uniforms. My 1 star comes from the service. It is slower than a snail. I know I'm a bigger person but the size of shirt I got was a 4x. It's been 2 months and they're still waiting on the shirts to come in. I'm afraid I could of made the shirts myself by hand faster than these people. I'm glad I was able to come in for the rest of my uniform or I'd still be wearing black shirts I bought for my orientation. read more

I have had to return here multiple times to either pick up uniforms and bring them back due to not having my proper patches on the BDU shirts and my name spelled incorrectly. Don't get me wrong, very polite and respectful ladies that work here, but to legit write my name down, see my name spelled correctly multiple times and only to return to my name spelled beyond wrong and forced to wait for a week for there mistake is unacceptable... I am not sure what happened, but in the past roughly 4 to 5 years ago this was the place to go to for a one stop shop for everything you needed. When I came back two weeks ago I am talking about low inventory on clothing and the brand that I consider top notch 5.11. Fact is I do not live close to this place and for me to have to continue to return due to the stores mistakes and mishaps is messed up. Even today when I have to go pick up my BDU top I am forced again to return a 2nd time due to them having one BDU top out of stock and having to special order it. They should offer a shipment after once complete to be shipped to your home. Take a snap shot of your BDU top to ensure it is correct and ship it. Yet nope no shipment just come down to the store to see the incorrectness and only to walkout empty handed.... Even most recently I was told a seamstress recently quit, so they use the store next door to this location that does Casino, Culinary, Security, and etc clothing for embroidery.... The store does have some decent gear, but do not rely on the staff to give advice on what you should purchase. Personally I would tell anyone look into your gear you need and get advice from your co-workers or someone who is knowledgeable. My top suggestion to anyone who does decide to purchase from this location, before you leave write your name down and ensure they see it and understand it, make sure you have them write down or 110% go over your embroidery / patches for your tactical BDU shirts. Do not leave here without them understanding or you will be like myself and others who legit were forced to return multiple times. This will be my 4th time coming back here and yet still have to return again for a 5th to pick up a BDU shirt! read more

I walked into Las Vegas Tactical this evening just before they would be closing. A really nice young lady came over and asked if I need any help. I asked her if these were by waist sizes. For the ones I was looking at she said yes. Then she says we have some more over here. They are woman's. I said great. I looked, found what I was looking for, she came back and said the dressing rooms are open. I said thank you. I went in and tried them on. Good to go. Went up to the counter, she asked for my number, as I told her this is where I buy my work pants. I asked her where do I go post a review , and she told me. So thank you too Karla. I ALWAYS read up on Yelp before patronizing ANY business. However, my reading was curiosity-serving only, as my department directed me to LVT for a new uniform shirt. As in, I had no choice. That said, IF I HAVE a choice, I would NEVER go anywhere else! Professional, courteous and buttoned-up top to bottom with Rosie in command of her squad! If I may--trying to pay Rosie a high compliment--she is the kind of person with whom I would love to sit down, have a couple beers and find out why she is so friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. She immediately treated me like family or an old friend--an amazing gift considering how so many others behave in today's service industry. ROSIE is a miracle worker! if fairy Godmothers were a thing...she'd be it!! everyone at LVT is professional, polite & well versed with their stock & supply. ROSIE - who seems to be juggling as many things as a circus clown would all at once, (but NOT clowning!) & she does it with more poise & perfection of execution. it's impressive to observe...she gets it done & in a better than expected timely delivery. they get us & get our gear back asap so we stay safe out there. I heard about this place through my job, I was given a few different locations where they sell my uniform and also honor a 15% discount to first responders. The service was okay but when everything was rung up I asked if the 15% discount was already applied. The cashier assured me it was so I swiped my card. When I got to my car I realized that I had paid full price so I went back inside and asked her if she was sure and she again said that I did get the discount, that the system "automatically applies it". She had me convinced but when I got home and added everything up I realized I indeed paid full price for everything. The only reason I came to this place is because of the 15% discount they offer otherwise I would've gone somewhere else. The next day I went back to pick up my shirt that was embroidered and I asked a different employee if she can review my receipt and she confirmed that I wasn't given the discount. Thankfully she was nicer and more knowledgeable at her job so she gave me a refund for what I would've saved. Could have been a mistake by the first cashier but the problem was that several of my coworkers also said that they didn't get their discount until they reviewed their receipts and went back. Coincidence? I spent a few hundred dollars so I was really counting on that first responder discount. read more
