He developed an infection and there were no medical providers available. Despite this fatigue and shortness of breath from the infection, he was brought to PT. As his performance was not great given the infection, the PT pushed him and appeared annoyed that my father couldn't do what they wanted. The nurses are incompetent and the aids spend most of tgere time on there phones. Call lights are rarely responded to. Speaking with the higher level administrators was eye opening. No one is competent there. I am a medical professional and know what adequate care is. This facility was reported to the authorities.

It gets worse and worse…read more Your loved ones will be propped up in front of the TV all day unless you are a constant advocate. The doctors will give as much medication as you will allow. That's all they know how to do, apparently, and tell you to prepare for your loved one's death, no matter the situation! I've spoken to several families who were told the same thing! Dr. Liff has anger issues; she is nasty! Dr. Cohen has NO personality and absolutely no bedside manner. She is cold and a danger to the patients. They are both scary and think they are something special. They certainly are not!

My mom went to Stone rehab to recover from hip surgery. There were a number of alarming things that…read moreoccurred during her stay. The health aids were rough with my mom when she needed help getting to the bathroom or if she needed to be cleaned off from incontinence. She waited several hours to be cleaned off sitting in a soiled adult pad or after she threw up. There were feces in the shared bathroom floor for several hours. The aids would leave her food or water completely out of her reach. When I became concerned for my mom's life the nurses were dismissive. One insisted her vitals were fine and the other said if I was unhappy with the care she was receiving I should take my mom somewhere else. When I finally got through to the nurse because I thought my mom was dehydrated, it took the nurse 2 hours to get an ambulance. The nurse delayed the process by calling the doctor on call first and threatened that if I called the ambulance that I would lose my mom's room. About 2 hours after my mom arrived at the hospital she stopped breathing. She had an infection (sepsis). The doctors tried to save her and unfortunately, the next morning she passed away. Upon reading the notes from the hospital the doctor and nurses recorded that my mom was severely dehydrated and malnourished. I have since learned that these sorts of facilities have a disincentive to send a patient to the hospital because it lowers their ratings.

Her work and business is the passion that fuels her, sunup to sundown - there is no one you would rather have by your side as you rehabilitate. I personally enjoy my time with Olga, not only because of her successful treatment of me, but because she is such an inspiring individual - she emigrated to the United States as a young woman, learned English, and put herself through school - no small feat with a second language to boot!  Olga is energetic, driven, kind and absolutely unwavering in her excellent standard of care for her patients. Beware of where your money is coming from- going to and be especially opened eyed about employees in the business office. Be very sure to ask for copies of every transaction made because they will try and secrete any and everything in paper form. Document every incident and file grievences because they make sure those incidents do not have a computerized data based system that stores nor is there a requirement that staff log in any complaints when they happen. If you are not of sound mind or have any mental heath issues they will take advantage of you! Make sure you have family members, friends or even better an Attorney on speed dial, if you don't not have an Avocate, you are a prime target for their bottomline - to make money off of you. They care about one thing and it will not be you! They get minus 5 stars!!!

Kendra looks at your entire body and does a thorough assessment at every visit. Stephanie in admissions and Connie in social work are so nice and very efficient. The nusrsing and CNA staff are were very kind to mom and we felt that mom, s needs were met. There are activities and we liked that residents are encouraged to go to the dining room to eat rather than being isolated in their room. All rooms have individual phones and TV's. Mom enjoyed her stay here. As a family we were pleased with the care mom received and would reccomend the facility to anyone seeking rehab or longterm care for their loved one.

Got referred here by my surgeon after ACL surgery. The gym itself is clean and comfy. The general…read morelow-down is as follows: -Terry, the general manager, is friendly, outgoing, and around to take care of things as necessary. -The front desk folks have been cranky and ill tempered once or twice, but I guess that's life. -More importantly, the PTs I work with, Jeff and his minion Mary Kate, are doing awesome by me. A little history: I worked with a PT only once before. There was a misdiagnosis that wasn't the PT's fault, but nonetheless, the frustration of an injury that didn't heal left me a bit wary of PTs in general. You *have* to do PT after ACL surgery, so I stuffed my wariness into a little box in my closet, and, buoyed by my surgeon's confidence in Train Boston and a friend/mentor's confidence in Jeff's work, I signed up for PT. Confidence restored. Jeff and Mary Kate explain everything, answer all my questions patiently (and probably repeatedly), and keep me from doing stupid things without getting tetchy about the fact that I do stupid things once in a while. They're doing an admirable job working with me to get back to BJJ and Judo. This has included acting as demonstration dummies (which is like volunteering to be a jungle gym for a monkey on meth) and getting feedback from me regarding things to focus on. I like the emphasis on communication and the chance to contribute to my rehab plan, instead of orders handed down from on high. Everybody seems to have their own rendition of "PT sucks." Even my PT friends joke that the acronym stands for "pain and torture." Frankly, my PT sessions have been notable for the absence of pain and torture. Yes, I sweat. And yes, occasionally I'll get overzealous doing my at-home exercises and show up for PT with a limp, a whine, and a silent fear that I've ruined everything and I might as well cut it all off and get a wooden peg installed instead. But the crying and swearing that everyone promised would be in the offing? Not thus far.
