I did not want to pay an additional $750 for another treatment until I saw rests on my face. The laser treatment provided absolutely no improvement of the sun spots. Dr. Kooken stated she would touch up the spots if I proceeded with the laser treatment on my neck and chest. Dr. Kooken asked me how my recovery went. I told her there was no recovery. I did not experience any redness, swelling, or discomfort as discussed at the appointment. Dr. Kooken said that is very unusual. I am thinking the laser was set too low to provide any benefits. I also spoke with Maria, the practice manager, requesting a refund. I was told, "the bottom line is we are not refunding you".

I contacted the doctor on July 31, 2025 with my concerns, and instead of offering a proper resolution or refund, I was told they would not refund me under any circumstances. Their only solution was to dissolve and redo my fillers at full price, which is unacceptable, I should not have to pay again to fix a problem they created. I disputed the charges with my bank in August, submitted all supporting documents, and was still denied. I am extremely dissatisfied with how this business handled the situation. Consumers deserve to know that if something goes wrong here, you will be left to pay out of pocket with no accountability from the provider! I plan on escalating it further than just bank disputes and reviews.
