They couldn't possibly be less pleasant given your now, as they see it, uninsured. I assume based on how really mean they are, they don't want me to come back. If you don't know, Tricare is the type in insurance you get when you retire from serving your country in the military for 20+ years.

They provided high-index lenses despite my explicit instructions and medical history. I asked the…read moreoptician multiple times about what lens were in my glasses after informing them of have issues I was having with my new glasses and them trying to adjust and fix the issues. I never got a receipt either. Derek on multiple visits stated they were not high index when I asked him. Until I emailed and demanded the information they sent to lab and a receipt did I see that high index lens are in my glasses. I brought this up and he flat out said we discussed it and I wanted them. That never happened. I had previously informed them multiple times, my eyes cannot adjust to high-index materials. To ensure there was no mistake, I provided their office with over five pairs of my previous glasses as physical proof that I only wear regular plastic. I also provide my eye records for the past 4 plus years including prescription and receipts that showed last lens were reg plastic not high index. They ignored my medical needs and the physical evidence I provided them. Which has left me with a $748 pair of glasses that are unusable. On top of giving them over 6 plus months to fix the issue. On top of Derek dismissing my concerns questions and not returning phone calls. Its truly sad that as a professional he treats and does this to his patients and lies on top of it. I only wanted to be able to see.

My family had used Trillium Creek for several years for a variety of dermatology issues. I had…read moreswitched jobs a few times and thus health insurance providers. The last appointment we had was on January 2024, but we were never issued a bill for this until end of April in 2025, nearly 15 months after the services were rendered. When the bill was issued, I had switched insurance providers and so it was very difficult to try to go back and make a claim, especially since we had hit our out of pocket maximum for the 2024 year, so the full amount would have been on the insurance company that was no longer our current provider. While we bear some responsibility in not having our latest insurance on file, the fact that the billing came 15 months after service made coming to a resolution nearly impossible from our side. When we spoke to Trillium Creek's billing department, they provided no justification for the delay in the billing except that it was "stuck in the system" and basically took no fault of their own billing us for the full amount and threating to send it into collections. I contacted the company several times to try to come to resolution, but was met with no movement on their side, demanding full payment or send it to collection, not acknowledging their delay in billing had anything to do with the issue. I primarily want to warn other consumers against using Trillium Creek as their billing practices have been poor from a consumer perspective that has been using services from the company for years.
