Dr. Kusuma was able to give me my face back and a much younger and more beautiful one at that. He performed a full-face lift, upper and lower lid surgeries and neck surgery. I will forever be indebted to Dr. Kusuma (at Suria Plastic Surgery.) I went through a learning experience with the first physician and with Dr. Kusuma. I would like to share what I learned with those that might be shopping for a plastic surgeon. I have been able to compare two plastic surgeons and how they operate. I hope that what I learned will be useful to other people. The items listed below compare the two surgeons. 1. Dr. Kusuma will not ask you to sign endless documents stating that no matter what happens, he is not responsible for the result. 2. Dr. Kusuma will not use general anesthesia for your surgery. 3. Dr. Kusuma films the complete surgery, and he will give you any films you desire to have. So, you actually know what went on during the surgery. 4. Dr. Kusuma will perform the complete surgery himself. He will not allow a "surgical assistant" who has never attended college to close any incisions, or to perform any procedure. 5. After the surgery, every time you visit Dr. Kusuma, photos are taken. He meticulously compares your progress. 6. Dr. Kusuma will not let you go until he deems the final product to be perfect. He will follow through with various measures to achieve total perfection. 7. If you have any problems, it is easy to make an appointment. You will not be asked to wait weeks before you can see him. 8. Dr. Kusuma is very approachable. You will never feel fearful when presenting a concern. I hadn't needed to go because the hair wasn't grow back. But, I went in for maintenance about 2 months ago. This was my first time seeing a new esthetician. I was extremely nervous but the esthetician had over 10 years of experience so I tried to relax and breathe. The room was FREEZING to the point of being unbearable considering you have to undress. When she did one arm it didn't feel too painful. There's always a little pain with laser hair removal. But when she did my second arm it was UNBEARABLE. I kept telling her it hurts way more than usual but she let me know that if my menstrual cycle was approaching then my skin was just more sensitive at this time. I kept telling her it was just way too bad. Yet, she kept pressuring me to continue. I told her I absolutely couldn't and had her stop the treatment. She called in another esthetician to make sure everything was okay. My arm felt like it was on FIRE. It hurt so bad I could barely breathe. They put aloe Vera on it and Millie (the new owner) apologized countless times. I didn't have to pay for the treatment. Also, Jenny was very kind and called and text me multiple times to check on me. When I got to the car the pain got significantly worse. I was with my husband so he went to Walgreens to get me some Tylenol. By the time he came out of Walgreens- my arm was starting to bruise and leave deep dark circles all over. It was soooooo painful!!!! So he took me to the emergency room. I do not plan on going back again! It was a traumatic experience. I miss Jenny so much! She was the absolute best. I never had a bad treatment when she was the owner!
