I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.

My original Facial Girl left a bit after Covid... but I've been seeing Claudia! ( but all the techs are amazing) Claudia would be my preferred she is just amazing and knowledgeable. She analyzes the skin and provides options on the services that my skin may benefit. My skin is VERY sensitive so many times I'll choose for the sensitive skin care products ( that's like $20-$30 additional upgrade) . The facial includes extraction of white/black heads, scrubs, moisturizer. Even an upper chest /shoulder massage. I tend to always fall into " I want to get pampered" so I tend to upgrade my services. Facials I will upgrade with something like the LED light (red or blue) I have requested combination and the tech has accommodated my needs with both!! I've upgraded my facials cold stones that feels amazing and helps with puffy/redness. (Me) As for my Massages my lady is no doubt Lydia! She is excellent! She will ask on your expectations and she knows how to target the tense shoulders! She is firm but won't leave you sore. Oh! With my facial service last week with Claudia I mentioned to her if any services that could be added for my sore feet. She recommended the "Foot Treatment" that targets tired soles and restore step. That includes a foot scrub, massage with lotion. ( totally helped me) I would recommend as an added service. Back to Massages... well I have upgraded my massages with CBD oil , aromatherapy, hot stones (amazing) . Highly recommend adding the mini or the Himalayan Salt Stone. Feels so healing! At the end of the service you are offered water or tea. The front desk girls are friendly. Parking free and plenty near the front door. Also they have accommodating hours Sunday-Saturday 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm. So it works with busy schedules and preferences on the relaxation time. My nails had been over-filed to the point where you could almost see the redness underneath, like one step away from breaking skin. The product was poorly applied, my cuticles weren't properly cleaned, and where they did touch them, they left them irritated and borderline infected. All he had to provide was my contact phone number. Of course it helped since I was already in the system. Once upon a time I was a very loyal monthly member. I believe he paid a $10 transfer fee. Then Right away I took advantage of this gift. My body was screaming for a massage! I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. The front desk asked me what type of service/massage was I looking for ... if a deep tissue or soft relaxing pressure. Providing her that I like firm pressure and was overdue on a massage she recommended me to see Sahily which focus on deep tissue massages. I appreciate that at booking time... I was asked on my expectations in order to find the best therapist for my needs. Sahily was very nice and she was great working on my tension areas. ( my whole body). She said I was very tense and lots of knots. I added to my service fully body CBD oil for an additional $30.00. It helps with inflammation. At the end of the service the front desk attendant comes out with recommendations that the therapist notices. In my case my whole body head to toe was in red that required attention. I was told also to consider some stretching which they offer as well. Recommends both stretching and then a massage in order to get into the tissues and benefit's. As I was tempted to join the monthly membership that has benefits of roll over treatments. Monthly or even every other month. I opted to hold off till next year. The only thing I was unhappy was with... is that somehow ... I think it was iodine got on my face and hand. Instead of a smooth experience, I was met with confusion and very poor customer service from the manager, Yessenia. She clearly did not know how to process the transfer and repeatedly she went going back and forth to her office trying to figure out what to do. It was unprofessional and frustrating to sit there while the manager seemed completely unprepared to handle a basic request. The massage therapist did a good job and the massage itself was enjoyable, but the customer service experience completely overshadowed it. It was honestly some of the worst service I have ever experienced. To make matters worse, my sister recently tried to transfer additional services to me again, and now we are being told it cannot be done because I received a transfer two weeks ago.( which was 2 years ago not now!!! ) We are getting different answers each time, which makes the situation even more frustrating and confusing. Massage Envy seriously needs to improve staff training and customer service. A company with this reputation should not be leaving customers feeling this dissatisfied and poorly treated. If I could give a negative review I would!!
